Lecture Arabic	29 أَيُّهَا الرِّجَالُ الإِخْوَة، دَعُونِي أَقُولُ لَكُم عَلانِيَةً عَنْ دَاودَ رَئِيسِ الآبَاء: إِنَّهُ قَدْ مَاتَ ودُفِن، وقَبْرُهُ عِنْدَنَا إِلى هـذَا اليَوم. 30 وبِمَا أَنَّهُ كَانَ نَبِيًّا، وعَلِمَ أَنَّ اللهَ أَقْسَمَ لَهُ قَسَمًا أَنْ يَجْلِسَ عَلى عَرْشِهِ نَسْلٌ مِنْ صُلْبِهِ، 31 سَبَقَ فَرَأَى قِيَامَةَ الـمَسِيح، وتَكَلَّمَ عَنْهَا فَقَال: إِنَّهُ لَمْ يُتْرَكْ في الـجَحِيم، ولا رَأَى جَسَدُهُ فَسَادًا. 32 فَيَسُوعُ هـذَا قَدْ أَقَامَهُ الله، وعَلى ذ,لِكَ نَحْنُ كُلُّنا شُهُود. 33 وإِذْ رَفَعَهُ اللهُ بِيَمِينِهِ، ونَالَ مِنَ الآبِ الرُّوحَ القُدُسَ الـمَوْعُودَ بِهِ، أَفَاضَ عَلَيْنَا مَا أَنْتُم تَنْظُرُونَ وتَسْمَعُون. 34 فدَاوُدُ لَمْ يَصْعَدْ إِلى السَّمَاوَات، ولـكِنَّهُ هُوَ نَفْسُهُ يَقُول: قَالَ الرَّبُّ لِرَبِّي، إِجْلِسْ عَنْ يَمِينِي، 35 حَتَّى أَضَعَ أَعْدَاءَكَ مَوطِئًا لِقَدَمَيْك. 36 فَلْيَعْلَمْ إِذًا ويَتَيَقَّنْ جَمِيعُ بَيْتِ إِسْرَائِيل، أَنَّ اللهَ جَعَلَ يَسُوعَ هـذَا الَّذِي صَلَبْتُمُوهُ أَنْتُم رَبًّا ومَسِيحًا". 37 ولَمَّا سَمِعُوا هـذَا الكَلام، نَفَذَ إِلى قُلُوبِهِم، فَقَالُوا لِبُطْرُسَ ولِسَائِرِ الرُّسُل: "مَاذَا عَلَيْنَا أَنْ نَعْمَل، أَيُّهَا الرِّجَالُ الإِخْوَة؟". 38 فَقَالَ لَهُم بُطْرُس: "تُوبُوا وَلْيَعْتَمِدْ كُلُّ وَاحِدٍ مِنْكُم بِـاسْمِ يَسُوعَ الـمَسِيح، لِمَغْفِرَةِ خَطَايَاكُم، فَتَنَالُوا مَوْهِبَةَ الرُّوحِ القُدُس؛ 39 لأَنَّ الوَعْدَ هُوَ لَكُم ولأَوْلادِكُم وَلِجَمِيعِ البَعِيدِين، الَّذينَ سَيَدْعُوهُمُ الرَّبُّ إِلـهُنَا".
Evangile Arabic	21 قَالَ لَهَا يَسُوع: "صَدِّقِينِي، يَا امْرَأَة. تَأْتِي سَاعَةٌ، فِيهَا تَسْجُدُونَ لِلآب، لا في هـذَا الـجَبَل، ولا في أُورَشَلِيم. 22 أَنْتُم تَسْجُدُونَ لِمَا لا تَعْلَمُون، ونَحْنُ نَسْجُدُ لِمَا نَعْلَم، لأَنَّ الخَلاصَ هُوَ مِنَ اليَهُود. 23 ولـكِنْ تَأْتِي سَاعَة، وهِيَ الآن، فِيهَا السَّاجِدُونَ الـحَقِيقِيُّونَ يَسْجُدُونَ لِلآبِ بِالرُّوحِ والـحَقّ. فَعَلى مِثَالِ هـؤُلاءِ يُريدُ الآبُ السَّاجِدينَ لَهُ. 24 أَللهُ رُوح، وعَلى السَّاجِدِينَ لَهُ أَنْ يَسْجُدُوا بِالرُّوحِ والـحَقّ".

Lecture French	29 Frères, il est permis de vous dire avec assurance, au sujet du patriarche David, qu’il est mort, qu’il a été enseveli, et que son tombeau est encore aujourd’hui chez nous. 30 Comme il était prophète, il savait que Dieu lui avait juré de faire asseoir sur son trône un homme issu de lui. 31 Il a vu d’avance la résurrection du Christ, dont il a parlé ainsi : Il n’a pas été abandonné à la mort, et sa chair n’a pas vu la corruption. 32 Ce Jésus, Dieu l’a ressuscité ; nous tous, nous en sommes témoins. 33 Élevé par la droite de Dieu, il a reçu du Père l’Esprit Saint qui était promis, et il l’a répandu sur nous, ainsi que vous le voyez et l’entendez. 34 David, en effet, n’est pas monté au ciel, bien qu’il dise lui-même : Le Seigneur a dit à mon Seigneur : “Siège à ma droite, 35 jusqu’à ce que j’aie placé tes ennemis comme un escabeau sous tes pieds.” 36 Que toute la maison d’Israël le sache donc avec certitude : Dieu l’a fait Seigneur et Christ, ce Jésus que vous aviez crucifié. » 37 Les auditeurs furent touchés au cœur ; ils dirent à Pierre et aux autres Apôtres : « Frères, que devons-nous faire ? » 38 Pierre leur répondit : « Convertissez-vous, et que chacun de vous soit baptisé au nom de Jésus Christ pour le pardon de ses péchés ; vous recevrez alors le don du Saint-Esprit. 39 Car la promesse est pour vous, pour vos enfants et pour tous ceux qui sont loin, aussi nombreux que le Seigneur notre Dieu les appellera. »
Evangile French	21 Jésus lui dit : « Femme, crois-moi : l’heure vient où vous n’irez plus ni sur cette montagne ni à Jérusalem pour adorer le Père. 22 Vous, vous adorez ce que vous ne connaissez pas ; nous, nous adorons ce que nous connaissons, car le salut vient des Juifs. 23 Mais l’heure vient – et c’est maintenant – où les vrais adorateurs adoreront le Père en esprit et vérité : tels sont les adorateurs que recherche le Père. 24 Dieu est esprit, et ceux qui l’adorent, c’est en esprit et vérité qu’ils doivent l’adorer. »

Lecture English	29 My brothers, one can confidently say to you about the patriarch David that he died and was buried, and his tomb is in our midst to this day. 30 But since he was a prophet and knew that God had sworn an oath to him that he would set one of his descendants upon his throne,o 31 he foresaw and spoke of the resurrection of the Messiah, that neither was he abandoned to the netherworld nor did his flesh see corruption.p 32 God raised this Jesus; of this we are all witnesses. 33 Exalted at the right hand of God,* he received the promise of the holy Spirit from the Father and poured it forth, as you (both) see and hear.q 34 For David did not go up into heaven, but he himself said: ‘The Lord said to my Lord, “Sit at my right handr 35 until I make your enemies your footstool.”’ 36 Therefore let the whole house of Israel know for certain that God has made him both Lord and Messiah, this Jesus whom you crucified.”s 37 Now when they heard this, they were cut to the heart, and they asked Peter and the other apostles, “What are we to do, my brothers?”t 38 Peter [said] to them, “Repent and be baptized,* every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins; and you will receive the gift of the holy Spirit.u 39 For the promise is made to you and to your children and to all those far off, whomever the Lord our God will call.”v
Evangile English	21 Jesus said to her, “Believe me, woman, the hour is coming when you will worship the Father neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem. 22 You people worship what you do not understand; we worship what we understand, because salvation is from the Jews.i 23 But the hour is coming, and is now here, when true worshipers will worship the Father in Spirit and truth;* and indeed the Father seeks such people to worship him. 24 God is Spirit, and those who worship him must worship in Spirit and truth.”j
