Lecture Arabic	1 فَبِما أَنَّ الـمَسِيحَ قَدْ تأَلَّمَ في الـجَسَد، تَسلَّحُوا أَنتُم أَيضًا بِهـذِهِ الفِكْرَةِ عَينِها، وهِيَ أَنَّ مَنْ تأَلَّمَ في الـجَسَدِ انقَطَعَ عنِ الـخَطِيئَة، 2 لِكَي يَحْيَا مَا بَقِيَ لَهُ مِنَ الزَّمَانِ في الـجَسَد، لا لِشَهَوَاتِ النَّاسِ بَل لِمَشِيئَةِ الله. 3 فكَفَاكُم مَا قَضَيْتُم مِنَ الزَّمَنِ الـمَاضِي في العَمَلِ بِـمَشِيئَةِ الوَثَنِيِّين، سَالِكِينَ في العِهْرِ والشَّهَوَاتِ والسُّكْرِ والقُصُوفِ والشُّرْبِ وعِبادَةِ الأَوثَانِ الـمُحَرَّمَة. 4 وهُمُ الآنَ يَسْتَغرِبُونَ مِنْكُم كَيفَ لا تُجَارُونَهُم في غَمْرِ طَيْشِهِم هـذا، ويُجَدِّفُونَ عَلَيْكُم. 5 لـكِنَّهُم سَيُؤَدُّونَ حِسَابًا للهِ الـمُزْمِعِ أَنْ يَدِينَ الأَحْيَاءَ والأَمْوَات. 6 فَلِهـذَا أُعْلِنَتِ البُشْرى لِلأَمْواتِ أَيْضًا، حتَّى وإِنْ حُكِمَ عَلَيْهِم بِالْمَوتِ في الـجَسَدِ وَفْقَ النَّاس، يَحْيَونَ في الرُّوحِ وَفْقَ الله. 7 لقَدِ اقْتَرَبَتْ نِهَايَةُ كُلِّ شَيء، فتَعَقَّلُوا واصْحُوا لِلْقِيَامِ بِالصَّلوَات. 8 وقَبْلَ كُلِّ شَيءٍ أَحِبُّوا بَعْضُكُم بَعْضًا مَـحبَّةً ثَابِتَة، لأَنَّ الْمَحبَّةَ تَسْتُرُ جَمًّا مِنَ الـخَطايَا. 9 أَحْسِنُوا الضِّيَافَةَ بَعْضُكُم لِبَعْضٍ بلا تَذَمُّر. 10 أُخْدُمُوا بَعْضُكُم بَعْضًا، كُلُّ واحِدٍ بِمَا نَالَ مِن مَوْهِبَة، كَمَا يَجْدُرُ بِالوُكَلاءِ الصَّالِحِينَ على نِعَمَةِ اللهِ الـمُتَنَوِّعَة. 11 وإِذَا تَكَلَّمَ أَحَد، فَلْيَكُنْ كَلامُهُ كَلامَ الله. وإِذَا قَامَ أَحَدٌ بِخِدْمَة، فَلْتَكُنْ خِدْمَتُهُ بِالقُوَّةِ الَّتي يَمْنَحُهَا الله، حَتَّى يُمَجَّدَ اللهُ في كُلِّ شَيءٍ بيَسُوعَ الْمَسِيح، الَّذي لَهُ الـمَجْدُ والقُدْرَةُ إِلى أَبَدِ الآبِدِين.
Evangile Arabic	41 فَأَخَذَ اليَهُودُ يَتَذَمَّرُونَ عَلى يَسُوع، لأَنَّهُ قَال: "أَنَا هُوَ الْخُبْزُ الَّذي نَزَلَ مِنَ السَّمَاء". 42 وكَانُوا يَقُولُون: "أَلَيْسَ هـذَا يَسُوعَ بْنَ يُوسُف، ونَحْنُ نَعْرِفُ أَبَاهُ وأُمَّهُ؟ فَكَيْفَ يَقُولُ الآن: إِنِّي نَزَلْتُ مِنَ السَّمَاء؟". 43 أَجَابَ يَسُوعُ وقَالَ لَهُم:"لا تَتَذَمَّرُوا في ما بَيْنَكُم. 44 لا أَحَدَ يَقْدِرُ أَنْ يَأْتِيَ إِليَّ، مَا لَمْ يَجْتَذِبْهُ الآبُ الَّذي أَرْسَلَنِي، وأَنَا أُقِيمُهُ في اليَومِ الأَخِير. 45 جَاءَ في كُتُبِ الأَنْبِيَاء: ويَكُونُونَ جَمِيعُهُم مُتَعَلِّمِينَ مِنَ الله. كُلُّ مَنْ سَمِعَ مِنَ الآبِ وتَعَلَّم، يَأْتِي إِليَّ. 46 مَا مِنْ أَحَدٍ رَأَى الآبَ إِلاَّ الَّذي هُوَ مِنْ لَدُنِ الله. فَهـذَا قَدْ رَأَى الآب. 47 أَلـحَقَّ الـحَقَّ أَقُولُ لَكُم: أَلـمُؤْمِنُ يَنَالُ حَيَاةً أَبَدِيَّة.

Lecture French	01 Puisque le Christ a donc souffert dans la chair, vous aussi, armez-vous de la même pensée, à savoir : quiconque a souffert dans la chair en a fini avec le péché ; 02 alors, vous vivrez le temps qui reste à passer dans la chair, non plus selon les convoitises humaines mais selon la volonté de Dieu. 03 Il a assez duré, le temps passé à faire ce que veulent les gens des nations, quand vous vous laissiez aller aux débauches, aux convoitises, à l’ivrognerie, aux orgies, aux beuveries et aux cultes interdits des idoles. 04 À ce propos, ils trouvent étrange que vous ne couriez plus avec eux vers les mêmes débordements d’inconduite, et ils vous couvrent d’injures. 05 Ils auront des comptes à rendre à Celui qui se tient prêt à juger les vivants et les morts. 06 C’est pour cela que l’Évangile a été annoncé aussi aux morts, afin que, jugés selon les hommes dans la chair, ils vivent selon Dieu dans l’Esprit. 07 La fin de toutes choses est proche. Soyez donc raisonnables et sobres en vue de la prière. 08 Avant tout, ayez entre vous une charité intense, car la charité couvre une multitude de péchés. 09 Pratiquez l’hospitalité les uns envers les autres sans récriminer. 10 Ce que chacun de vous a reçu comme don de la grâce, mettez-le au service des autres, en bons gérants de la grâce de Dieu qui est si diverse : 11 si quelqu’un parle, qu’il le fasse comme pour des paroles de Dieu ; celui qui assure le service, qu’il s’en acquitte comme avec la force procurée par Dieu. Ainsi, en tout, Dieu sera glorifié par Jésus Christ, à qui appartiennent la gloire et la souveraineté pour les siècles des siècles. Amen.
Evangile French	41 Les Juifs récriminaient contre Jésus parce qu’il avait déclaré : « Moi, je suis le pain qui est descendu du ciel. » 42 Ils disaient : « Celui-là n’est-il pas Jésus, fils de Joseph ? Nous connaissons bien son père et sa mère. Alors comment peut-il dire maintenant : “Je suis descendu du ciel” ? » 43 Jésus reprit la parole : « Ne récriminez pas entre vous. 44 Personne ne peut venir à moi, si le Père qui m’a envoyé ne l’attire, et moi, je le ressusciterai au dernier jour. 45 Il est écrit dans les prophètes : Ils seront tous instruits par Dieu lui-même. Quiconque a entendu le Père et reçu son enseignement vient à moi. 46 Certes, personne n’a jamais vu le Père, sinon celui qui vient de Dieu : celui-là seul a vu le Père. 47 Amen, amen, je vous le dis : il a la vie éternelle, celui qui croit.

Lecture English	1 Therefore, since Christ suffered in the flesh, arm yourselves also with the same attitude (for whoever suffers in the flesh has broken with sin), 2 so as not to spend what remains of one’s life in the flesh on human desires, but on the will of God. 3 For the time that has passed is sufficient for doing what the Gentiles like to do: living in debauchery, evil desires, drunkenness, orgies, carousing, and wanton idolatry.a 4 They are surprised that you do not plunge into the same swamp of profligacy, and they vilify you; 5 but they will give an account to him who stands ready to judge the living and the dead.b 6 For this is why the gospel was preached even to the dead* that, though condemned in the flesh in human estimation, they might live in the spirit in the estimation of God. Christian Charity.* 7 The end of all things is at hand. Therefore, be serious and sober for prayers. 8 c Above all, let your love for one another be intense, because love covers a multitude of sins.* 9 Be hospitable to one another without complaining.d 10 As each one has received a gift, use it to serve one another as good stewards of God’s varied grace.e 11 Whoever preaches, let it be with the words of God; whoever serves, let it be with the strength that God supplies, so that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ,f to whom belong glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.*
Evangile English	41 The Jews murmured about him because he said, “I am the bread that came down from heaven,” 42 and they said, “Is this not Jesus, the son of Joseph? Do we not know his father and mother? Then how can he say, ‘I have come down from heaven’?”v 43 Jesus answered and said to them, “Stop murmuring* among yourselves.w 44 No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draw him, and I will raise him on the last day. 45 It is written in the prophets: ‘They shall all be taught by God.’ Everyone who listens to my Father and learns from him comes to me.x 46 Not that anyone has seen the Father except the one who is from God; he has seen the Father.y 47 Amen, amen, I say to you, whoever believes has eternal life.
