Lecture Arabic	18 أَيُّهَا الـخُدَّام، إِخْضَعُوا بِكُلِّ مَخَافَةٍ لأَسْيَادِكُم، لا لِلصَّالِحِينَ مِنهُم والـحُلَمَاءِ فَحَسْب، بَلْ لِلْقُسَاةِ أَيْضًا. 19 فَإِنَّهَا لَنِعْمَةٌ أَنْ يَحْتَمِلَ الإِنْسَانُ الأَحْزَانَ حينَ يتَأَلَّمُ مَظْلُومًا، بيَقِينِ مَنْ يَعْمَلُ لأَجْلِ الله. 20 فأَيُّ مَفْخَرَةٍ لَكُم إِنْ كُنْتُمْ تَصْبِرُونَ على اللَّطْمِ وأَنْتُم مُذْنِبُون؟ ولـكِنْ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ تَصْبِرُونَ على الأَلَمِ وأَنْتُم فَاعِلُو خَيْر، فإِنَّهَا لَنِعْمَةٌ عِنْدَ الله. 21 فَإِلى هـذَا دُعِيتُم، لأَنَّ الـمَسِيحَ أَيضًا تَأَلَّمَ مِنْ أَجْلِكُم، تَارِكًا لَكُم مِثَالاً لِتَسِيرُوا عَلى خُطَاه. 22 وهُوَ الَّذي مَا فَعَلَ خَطِيئَة، ولا كَانَ في فَمِهِ مَكْر؛ 23 وهُوَ الَّذي كانَ يُشْتَمُ ولا يَرُدُّ الشَّتْم، ويَتَأَلَّمُ ولا يُهَدِّد، بَلْ يُسَلِّمُ نَفْسَهُ للهِ الَّذي يَحْكُمُ بِالعَدْل؛ 24 وهُوَ الَّذي حَمَلَ خَطايَانَا في جَسَدِهِ على الـخَشَبَة، لِكَي نَمُوتَ عنِ الْخَطايا فَنَحْيَا لِلبِرّ؛ وهُوَ الَّذي بِجُرْحِهِ شُفِيتُم. 25 فَقَد كُنْتُم ضَالِّينَ كَالغَنَم، لـكِنَّكُم رَجَعْتُمُ الآنَ إِلى رَاعِي نُفُوسِكُم وحَارِسِهَا.
Evangile Arabic	44 وقَالَ لَهُم: "هـذَا هُوَ كَلامِي الَّذي كَلَّمْتُكُم بِهِ، وَأَنا بَعْدُ مَعَكُم. كانَ يَنْبَغِي أَنْ يَتِمَّ كُلُّ مَا كُتِبَ عَنِّي في تَوْرَاةِ مُوسَى، وَالأَنْبِيَاءِ وَالـمَزَامِير". 45 حِينَئِذٍ فَتَحَ أَذْهَانَهُم لِيَفْهَمُوا الكُتُب. 46 ثُمَّ قالَ لَهُم: "هـكذَا مَكْتُوبٌ أَنَّ الـمَسِيحَ يَتَأَلَّم، وَيَقُومُ مِنْ بَيْنِ الأَمْوَاتِ في اليَوْمِ الثَّالِث. 47 وبِاسْمِهِ يُكْرَزُ بِالتَّوْبَةِ لِمَغْفِرةِ الـخَطَايَا، في جَمِيعِ الأُمَم، إِبْتِدَاءً مِنْ أُورَشَلِيم. 48 وأَنْتُم شُهُودٌ عَلى ذـلِكَ. 49 وهَاءَنَذَا أُرْسِلُ إِلَيْكُم مَا وَعَدَ بِهِ أَبِي. فامْكُثُوا أَنْتُم في الـمَدِينَةِ إِلى أَنْ تُلْبَسُوا قُوَّةً مِنَ العُلَى".

Lecture French	18 Vous les domestiques, soyez soumis en tout respect à vos maîtres, non seulement à ceux qui sont bons et bienveillants, mais aussi à ceux qui sont difficiles. 19 En effet, c’est une grâce de supporter, par motif de conscience devant Dieu, des peines que l’on souffre injustement. 20 En effet, si vous supportez des coups pour avoir commis une faute, quel honneur en attendre ? Mais si vous supportez la souffrance pour avoir fait le bien, c’est une grâce aux yeux de Dieu. 21 C’est bien à cela que vous avez été appelés, car C’est pour vous que le Christ, lui aussi, a souffert ; il vous a laissé un modèle afin que vous suiviez ses traces. 22 Lui n’a pas commis de péché ; dans sa bouche, on n’a pas trouvé de mensonge. 23 Insulté, il ne rendait pas l’insulte, dans la souffrance, il ne menaçait pas, mais il s’abandonnait à Celui qui juge avec justice. 24 Lui-même a porté nos péchés, dans son corps, sur le bois, afin que, morts à nos péchés, nous vivions pour la justice. Par ses blessures, nous sommes guéris. 25 Car vous étiez errants comme des brebis ; mais à présent vous êtes retournés vers votre berger, le gardien de vos âmes.
Evangile French	44 Puis il leur déclara : « Voici les paroles que je vous ai dites quand j’étais encore avec vous : Il faut que s’accomplisse tout ce qui a été écrit à mon sujet dans la loi de Moïse, les Prophètes et les Psaumes. » 45 Alors il ouvrit leur intelligence à la compréhension des Écritures. 46 Il leur dit : « Ainsi est-il écrit que le Christ souffrirait, qu’il ressusciterait d’entre les morts le troisième jour, 47 et que la conversion serait proclamée en son nom, pour le pardon des péchés, à toutes les nations, en commençant par Jérusalem. 48 À vous d’en être les témoins. 49 Et moi, je vais envoyer sur vous ce que mon Père a promis. Quant à vous, demeurez dans la ville jusqu’à ce que vous soyez revêtus d’une puissance venue d’en haut. »

Lecture English	18 * Slaves, be subject to your masters with all reverence, not only to those who are good and equitable but also to those who are perverse.n 19 For whenever anyone bears the pain of unjust suffering because of consciousness of God, that is a grace. 20 But what credit is there if you are patient when beaten for doing wrong? But if you are patient when you suffer for doing what is good, this is a grace before God. 21 For to this you have been called, because Christ also suffered* for you, leaving you an example that you should follow in his footsteps.o 22 “He committed no sin,p and no deceit was found in his mouth.”* 23 When he was insulted, he returned no insult; when he suffered, he did not threaten; instead, he handed himself over to the one who judges justly.q 24 He himself bore our sins in his body upon the cross, so that, free from sin, we might live for righteousness. By his wounds you have been healed.r 25 For you had gone astray like sheep,s but you have now returned to the shepherd and guardian of your souls.*
Evangile English	44 He said to them, “These are my words that I spoke to you while I was still with you, that everything written about me in the law of Moses and in the prophets and psalms must be fulfilled.”w 45 Then he opened their minds to understand the scriptures.x 46 * And he said to them,y “Thus it is written that the Messiah would suffer and rise from the dead on the third day 47 and that repentance, for the forgiveness of sins, would be preached in his name to all the nations, beginning from Jerusalem.z 48 You are witnesses of these things.a 49 And [behold] I am sending the promise of my Father* upon you; but stay in the city until you are clothed with power from on high.”b
