Lecture Arabic	26 وكَلَّمَ مَلاكُ الرَّبِّ فِيلِبُّسَ قَائِلاً: " قُمْ وَاذْهَبْ نَحْوَ الْـجَنُوب، في الطَّريقِ الْـمُنْحَدِرَةِ مِنْ أُورَشَليمَ إِلى غَزَّة، وَهيَ طَرِيقٌ مُقْفِرَة". 27 فَقَامَ وذَهَب. وإِذا بِرَجُلٍ حَبَشِيٍّ خَصِيّ، ذِي مَنْصِبٍ مَرْمُوقٍ لَدَى قَنْدَاقَةَ مَلِكَةِ الـحَبَشَة، وخَازِنِ جَمِيعِ أَمْوَالِهَا، كَانَ قَدْ حَجَّ إِلى أُورَشَلِيمَ لِلسُّجُودِ فِيها، 28 وكَانَ عَائِدًا مِنْهَا إِلى بِلادِهِ، جَالِسًا في مَرْكَبَتِهِ، وهُوَ يَقْرَأُ النَّبِيَّ آشَعْيا. 29 فَقَالَ الرُّوحُ لِفِيلِبُّس: "إِقتَرِبْ، وَالْزَمْ هـذِهِ الْـمَرْكَبَة!". 30 فأَسْرَعَ فِيلِبُّسُ إِلى الْمَركَبَةِ فسَمِعَ الْحَبَشِيَّ يقرَأُ النَّبِيَّ آشَعْيَا، فَقَالَ لَهُ: "هَلْ تَفْهَمُ مَا تَقْرَأ؟". 31 فَقَال: "وكَيْفَ يُمْكِنُنِي إِنْ لَمْ يُرْشِدْنِي أَحَد؟". ثُمَّ دَعَا فِيلِبُّسَ إِلى أَنْ يَصْعَدَ ويَجْلِسَ مَعَهُ. 32 وكَانَ يَقْرَأُ مِنَ الْكِتَابِ هـذَا النَّصّ: "كَشَاةٍ سِيقَ إِلى الذَّبْح، وكَحَمَلٍ صَامِتٍ أَمَامَ الَّذي يَجُزُّهُ، هـكَذَا لا يَفتَحُ فَاه. 33 في اتِّضَاعِهِ سُلِبَ حَقُّهُ. فَمَنْ يُخْبِرُ عَنْ ذُرِّيَّتِهِ، وقَدْ أُزِيلَتْ حَيَاتُهُ عَنِ الأَرْض؟". 34 فَأَجَابَ الْخَصِيُّ وقَالَ لِفِيلِبُّس: "أَرْجُوك! عَمَّن يَقُولُ النَّبِيُّ هـذَا الكَلام؟ عَنْ نَفْسِهِ أَمْ عنْ شَخْصٍ آخَر؟". 35 ففَتَحَ فيلِبُّسُ فَاهُ، وانْطَلَقَ مِنْ نَصِّ الْكِتابِ هـذَا، وأَخَذَ يُبَشِّرُهُ بيَسُوع. 36 وفِيمَا هُمَا يُتَابِعَانِ طَرِيقَهُمَا، وَصَلا ‍‍‌ ‌إِلى مَكَانٍ فِيهِ مَاء، فَقَالَ الْخَصِيّ: "هُوَذَا مَاء، فَمَاذَا يَمْنَعُ أَنْ أَعْتَمِدْ؟". 37 فَقَالَ فِيلِبُّس: "يُمْكِنُكَ أَنْ تَعْتَمِد، إِنْ كُنْتَ تُؤْمِنُ مِنْ كُلِّ قَلْبِكَ!". فَأَجَاب: "إِنِّي أُؤْمِنُ أَنَّ يَسُوعَ الْمَسِيحَ هُوَ ابْنُ الله!". 38 ثُمَّ أَمَرَ بِإِيقَافِ الْمَرْكَبَة، وَنَزَلا كِلاهُمَا في الْمَاء، فِيلِبُّسُ والْخَصِيّ، فَعَمَّدَهُ فِيلِبُّس. 39 ولَمَّا صَعِدا مِنَ الْمَاء، خَطَفَ رُوحُ الرَّبِّ فِيلِبُّس، ومَا عَادَ الْخَصِيُّ يَرَاه، فَمَضَى في طَريقِهِ فَرِحًا. 40 أَمَّا فِيلِبُّسُ فَوُجِدَ في أَشْدُود. وكَانَ يَجُولُ مُبَشِّرًا كُلَّ الْمُدُن، حَتَّى وَصَلَ إِلى قَيْصَرِيَّة.
Evangile Arabic	21 حِينَئِذٍ دَنَا مِنْهُ بُطْرُسُ وقَالَ لَهُ: "يَا رَبّ، كَمْ مَرَّةً يَخْطَأُ إِليَّ أَخِي، وأَظَلُّ أَغْفِرُ لَهُ؟ أَإِلى سَبْعِ مَرَّات؟". 22 قَالَ لَهُ يَسُوع: "لا أَقُولُ لَكَ: إِلى سَبْعِ مَرَّات، بَلْ إِلى سَبْعِيْنَ مَرَّةً سَبْعَ مَرَّات. 23 لِذـلِكَ يُشْبِهُ مَلَكُوتُ السَّمَاوَاتِ مَلِكًا أَرَادَ أَنْ يُحَاسِبَ عَبِيدَهُ. 24 وبَدَأَ يُحَاسِبُهُم، فَأُحْضِرَ إِلَيْهِ وَاحِدٌ مَدْيُونٌ لَهُ بِسِتِّينَ مَلْيُونَ دِيْنَار. 25 وإِذْ لَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ مَا يُوفِي بِهِ دَيْنَهُ، أَمَرَ سَيِّدُهُ بِأَنْ يُبَاعَ هُوَ وزَوْجَتُهُ وأَوْلادُهُ وكُلُّ مَا يَمْلِكُ لِيُوفِيَ الدَّيْن. 26 فَوَقَعَ ذـلِكَ العَبْدُ سَاجِدًا لَهُ وقَال: أَمْهِلْنِي، يَا سَيِّدِي، وأَنَا أُوفِيكَ الدَّيْنَ كُلَّهُ. 27 فَتَحَنَّنَ سَيِّدُ ذـلِكَ العَبْدِ وأَطْلَقَهُ وأَعْفَاهُ مِنَ الدَّيْن. 28 وخَرَجَ ذـلِكَ العَبْدُ فَوَجَدَ وَاحِدًا مِنْ رِفَاقِهِ مَدْيُونًا لَهُ بِمِئَةِ دِيْنَار، فَقَبَضَ عَلَيْهِ وأَخَذَ يَخْنُقُهُ قَائِلاً: أَوْفِنِي كُلَّ مَا لِي عَلَيْك. 29 فَوَقَعَ رَفِيْقُهُ عَلى رِجْلَيْهِ يَتَوَسَّلُ إِليْهِ ويَقُول: أَمْهِلْنِي، وأَنَا أُوفِيْك. 30 فَأَبَى ومَضَى بِهِ وطَرَحَهُ في السِّجْن، حَتَّى يُوفِيَ دَيْنَهُ. 31 ورَأَى رِفَاقُهُ مَا جَرَى فَحَزِنُوا حُزْنًا شَدِيْدًا، وذَهَبُوا فَأَخْبَرُوا سَيِّدَهُم بِكُلِّ مَا جَرى. 32 حِينَئِذٍ دَعَاهُ سَيِّدُهُ وقَالَ لَهُ: أَيُّهَا العَبْدُ الشِّرِّير، لَقَدْ أَعْفَيْتُكَ مِنْ كُلِّ ذـلِكَ الدَّيْن، لأَنَّكَ تَوَسَّلْتَ إِليَّ. 33 أَمَا كَانَ عَلَيْكَ أَنْتَ أَيْضًا أَنْ تَرْحَمَ رَفيقَكَ كَمَا رَحِمْتُكَ أَنا؟! 34 وغَضِبَ سَيِّدُهُ فَسَلَّمَهُ إِلى الـجَلاَّدين، حَتَّى يُوفِيَ كُلَّ مَا عَلَيْه. 35 هـكَذَا يَفْعَلُ بِكُم أَيْضًا أَبي السَّمَاوِيّ، إِنْ لَمْ تَغْفِرُوا، كُلُّ وَاحِدٍ مِنْكُم لأَخِيْه، مِنْ كُلِّ قُلُوبِكُم".

Lecture French	26 L’ange du Seigneur adressa la parole à Philippe en disant : « Mets-toi en marche en direction du sud, prends la route qui descend de Jérusalem à Gaza ; elle est déserte. » 27 Et Philippe se mit en marche. Or, un Éthiopien, un eunuque, haut fonctionnaire de Candace, la reine d’Éthiopie, et administrateur de tous ses trésors, était venu à Jérusalem pour adorer. 28 Il en revenait, assis sur son char, et lisait le prophète Isaïe. 29 L’Esprit dit à Philippe : « Approche, et rejoins ce char. » 30 Philippe se mit à courir, et il entendit l’homme qui lisait le prophète Isaïe ; alors il lui demanda : « Comprends-tu ce que tu lis ? » 31 L’autre lui répondit : « Et comment le pourrais-je s’il n’y a personne pour me guider ? » Il invita donc Philippe à monter et à s’asseoir à côté de lui. 32 Le passage de l’Écriture qu’il lisait était celui-ci : Comme une brebis, il fut conduit à l’abattoir ; comme un agneau muet devant le tondeur, il n’ouvre pas la bouche. 33 Dans son humiliation, il n’a pas obtenu justice. Sa descendance, qui en parlera ? Car sa vie est retranchée de la terre. 34 Prenant la parole, l’eunuque dit à Philippe : « Dis-moi, je te prie : de qui le prophète parle-t-il ? De lui-même, ou bien d’un autre ? » 35 Alors Philippe prit la parole et, à partir de ce passage de l’Écriture, il lui annonça la Bonne Nouvelle de Jésus. 36 Comme ils poursuivaient leur route, ils arrivèrent à un point d’eau, et l’eunuque dit : « Voici de l’eau : qu’est-ce qui empêche que je sois baptisé ? » 38 Il fit arrêter le char, ils descendirent dans l’eau tous les deux, et Philippe baptisa l’eunuque. 39 Quand ils furent remontés de l’eau, l’Esprit du Seigneur emporta Philippe ; l’eunuque ne le voyait plus, mais il poursuivait sa route, tout joyeux. 40 Philippe se retrouva dans la ville d’Ashdod, il annonçait la Bonne Nouvelle dans toutes les villes où il passait jusqu’à son arrivée à Césarée.
Evangile French	21 Alors Pierre s’approcha de Jésus pour lui demander : « Seigneur, lorsque mon frère commettra des fautes contre moi, combien de fois dois-je lui pardonner ? Jusqu’à sept fois ? » 22 Jésus lui répondit : « Je ne te dis pas jusqu’à sept fois, mais jusqu’à soixante-dix fois sept fois. 23 Ainsi, le royaume des Cieux est comparable à un roi qui voulut régler ses comptes avec ses serviteurs. 24 Il commençait, quand on lui amena quelqu’un qui lui devait dix mille talents (c’est-à-dire soixante millions de pièces d’argent). 25 Comme cet homme n’avait pas de quoi rembourser, le maître ordonna de le vendre, avec sa femme, ses enfants et tous ses biens, en remboursement de sa dette. 26 Alors, tombant à ses pieds, le serviteur demeurait prosterné et disait : “Prends patience envers moi, et je te rembourserai tout.” 27 Saisi de compassion, le maître de ce serviteur le laissa partir et lui remit sa dette. 28 Mais, en sortant, ce serviteur trouva un de ses compagnons qui lui devait cent pièces d’argent. Il se jeta sur lui pour l’étrangler, en disant : “Rembourse ta dette !” 29 Alors, tombant à ses pieds, son compagnon le suppliait : “Prends patience envers moi, et je te rembourserai.” 30 Mais l’autre refusa et le fit jeter en prison jusqu’à ce qu’il ait remboursé ce qu’il devait. 31 Ses compagnons, voyant cela, furent profondément attristés et allèrent raconter à leur maître tout ce qui s’était passé. 32 Alors celui-ci le fit appeler et lui dit : “Serviteur mauvais ! je t’avais remis toute cette dette parce que tu m’avais supplié. 33 Ne devais-tu pas, à ton tour, avoir pitié de ton compagnon, comme moi-même j’avais eu pitié de toi ?” 34 Dans sa colère, son maître le livra aux bourreaux jusqu’à ce qu’il eût remboursé tout ce qu’il devait. 35 C’est ainsi que mon Père du ciel vous traitera, si chacun de vous ne pardonne pas à son frère du fond du cœur. »

Lecture English	26 Then the angel of the Lord spoke to Philip, “Get up and head south on the road that goes down from Jerusalem to Gaza, the desert route.” 27 So he got up and set out. Now there was an Ethiopian eunuch, a court official of the Candace,* that is, the queen of the Ethiopians, in charge of her entire treasury, who had come to Jerusalem to worship,h 28 and was returning home. Seated in his chariot, he was reading the prophet Isaiah. 29 The Spirit said to Philip, “Go and join up with that chariot.” 30 * Philip ran up and heard him reading Isaiah the prophet and said, “Do you understand what you are reading?” 31 He replied, “How can I, unless someone instructs me?” So he invited Philip to get in and sit with him.i 32 This was the scripture passage he was reading:j “Like a sheep he was led to the slaughter, and as a lamb before its shearer is silent, so he opened not his mouth. 33 In (his) humiliation justice was denied him. Who will tell of his posterity? For his life is taken from the earth.” 34 Then the eunuch said to Philip in reply, “I beg you, about whom is the prophet saying this? About himself, or about someone else?” 35 Then Philip opened his mouth and, beginning with this scripture passage, he proclaimed Jesus to him. 36 k As they traveled along the road they came to some water, and the eunuch said, “Look, there is water. What is to prevent my being baptized?” 37 * 38 Then he ordered the chariot to stop, and Philip and the eunuch both went down into the water, and he baptized him. 39 When they came out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord snatched Philip away, and the eunuch saw him no more, but continued on his way rejoicing.l 40 Philip came to Azotus, and went about proclaiming the good news to all the towns until he reached Caesarea.m
Evangile English	21 n Then Peter approaching asked him, “Lord, if my brother sins against me, how often must I forgive him? As many as seven times?” 22 * Jesus answered, “I say to you, not seven times but seventy-seven times. 23 o That is why the kingdom of heaven may be likened to a king who decided to settle accounts with his servants. 24 * When he began the accounting, a debtor was brought before him who owed him a huge amount. 25 Since he had no way of paying it back, his master ordered him to be sold, along with his wife, his children, and all his property, in payment of the debt. 26 * At that, the servant fell down, did him homage, and said, ‘Be patient with me, and I will pay you back in full.’ 27 Moved with compassion the master of that servant let him go and forgave him the loan. 28 When that servant had left, he found one of his fellow servants who owed him a much smaller amount.* He seized him and started to choke him, demanding, ‘Pay back what you owe.’ 29 Falling to his knees, his fellow servant begged him, ‘Be patient with me, and I will pay you back.’ 30 But he refused. Instead, he had him put in prison until he paid back the debt. 31 Now when his fellow servants saw what had happened, they were deeply disturbed, and went to their master and reported the whole affair. 32 His master summoned him and said to him, ‘You wicked servant! I forgave you your entire debt because you begged me to. 33 p Should you not have had pity on your fellow servant, as I had pity on you?’ 34 Then in anger his master handed him over to the torturers until he should pay back the whole debt.* 35 * q So will my heavenly Father do to you, unless each of you forgives his brother from his heart.”
