Lecture Arabic	21 وجَاءَ عَظِيمُ الأَحْبَارِ والَّذِينَ مَعَهُ، ودَعَوا الـمَجْلِسَ وشُيُوخَ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيل، وأَرْسَلُوا إِلى السِّجْنِ لِيُحْضِرُوهُم. 22 وذَهَبَ الـحَرَسُ فَلَمْ يَجِدُوهُم في السِّجْن، فَعَادُوا وأَخْبَرُوا 23 قَائِلين: "وَجَدْنا السِّجْنَ مُغْلَقًا بِكُلِّ إِحْكَام، والـحُرَّاسَ واقِفِينَ عَلى الأَبْوَاب، ولـكِنْ لَمَّا فَتَحْنَا، لَمْ نَجِدْ في الدَّاخِلِ أَحَدًا". 24 فَلَمَّا سَمِعَ قائِدُ حَرَسِ الـهَيْكَلِ والأَحْبَارُ هـذَا الكَلام، تَحَيَّرُوا في أَمْرِ الرُّسُل، وتَساءَلُوا: "مَا عَسَى أَنْ يَكُونَ هـذَا؟". 25 وجَاءَ رَجُلٌ فأَخْبَرَهُم: "هَا إِنَّ الرِّجَالَ الَّذِينَ وَضَعْتُمُوهُم في السِّجْنِ وَاقِفُونَ في الـهَيْكَلِ يُعَلِّمُونَ الشَّعْب!". 26 حِينَئِذٍ مَضَى القَائِدُ مَعَ حَرَسِهِ، وأَحْضَرُوهُم بِغَيرِ عُنْفٍ لأَنَّهُم كَانُوا يَخَافُونَ مِنَ الشَّعْب، لِئَلاَّ يُرْجَمُوا. 27 وَلَمَّا أَحْضَرُوهُم، أَقَامُوهُم في الـمَجْلِس، وسَأَلَهُم عَظِيمُ الأَحْبَارِ 28 قَائِلاً: "لَقَدْ أَمَرْناكُم أَمْرًا أَلاَّ تُعَلِّمُوا بِهـذَا الاسْم. وهَا إِنَّكُم مَلأَتُمْ أُورَشَلِيمَ بِتَعْلِيمِكُم، وتُرِيدُونَ أَنْ تَجْلُبُوا علَيْنَا دَمَ هـذَا الرَّجُل!". 29 فَأَجَابَ بُطْرُسُ والرُّسُلُ وقَالُوا: "أَللهُ أَحَقُّ بِالطَّاعَةِ مِنَ البَشَر! 30 إِنَّ إِلـهَ آبَائِنَا قَدْ أَقَامَ يَسُوعَ الَّذِي قَتَلْتُمُوهُ أَنْتُم، إِذْ علَّقتُمُوهُ عَلى خَشَبَة. 31 هـذَا رَفَعَهُ اللهُ بِيَمِينِهِ رَئِيسًا وَمُخَلِّصًا لِيَمْنَحَ إِسْرائِيلَ التَّوْبَةَ وغُفْرَانَ الـخَطَايَا. 32 ونَحْنُ شُهُودٌ عَلى هـذِهِ الأُمُور، نَحْنُ والرُّوحُ القُدُسُ الَّذِي وَهَبَهُ اللهُ لِلَّذِينَ يُطِيعُونَهُ". 33 فَلَمَّا سَمِعَ أَعْضَاءُ الـمَجْلِسِ هـذَا الكَلام، حَنِقُوا، وعَزَمُوا عَلى قَتْلِ الرُّسُل.
Evangile Arabic	1 كَلَّمْتُكُم بِهـذَا لِئَلاَّ تَعْثُرُوا. 2 سَيَفْصِلُونَكُم مِنَ الـمَجَامِع. بَلْ تَأْتِي سَاعَةٌ يَظُنُّ فِيهَا كُلُّ مَنْ يَقْتُلُكُم أَنَّهُ يُؤَدِّي للهِ عِبَادَة. 3 وسَيَفْعَلُونَ هـذَا بِكُم، لأَنَّهُم مَا عَرَفُوا الآب، ولا عَرَفُونِي. 4 لـكِنِّي كَلَّمْتُكُم بِهـذَا، حَتَّى إِذَا حَانَتِ السَّاعَةُ تَتَذَكَّرُونَ أَنِّي قُلْتُهُ لَكُم. ولَمْ أَقُلْ لَكُم هـذَا مُنْذُ البَدْءِ لأَنِّي كُنْتُ مَعَكُم.

Lecture French	21 Ils l’écoutèrent ; dès l’aurore, ils entrèrent dans le Temple, et là, ils enseignaient. Alors arriva le grand prêtre, ainsi que son entourage. Ils convoquèrent le Conseil suprême, toute l’assemblée des anciens d’Israël, et ils envoyèrent chercher les Apôtres dans leur cachot. 22 En arrivant, les gardes ne les trouvèrent pas à la prison. Ils revinrent donc annoncer : 23 « Nous avons trouvé le cachot parfaitement verrouillé, et les gardes en faction devant les portes ; mais, quand nous avons ouvert, nous n’avons trouvé personne à l’intérieur. » 24 Ayant entendu ce rapport, le commandant du Temple et les grands prêtres, tout perplexes, se demandaient ce qu’il adviendrait de cette affaire. 25 Là-dessus, quelqu’un vient leur annoncer : « Les hommes que vous aviez mis en prison, voilà qu’ils se tiennent dans le Temple et enseignent le peuple ! » 26 Alors, le commandant partit avec son escorte pour les ramener, mais sans violence, parce qu’ils avaient peur d’être lapidés par le peuple. 27 Ayant amené les Apôtres, ils les présentèrent au Conseil suprême, et le grand prêtre les interrogea : 28 « Nous vous avions formellement interdit d’enseigner au nom de celui-là, et voilà que vous remplissez Jérusalem de votre enseignement. Vous voulez donc faire retomber sur nous le sang de cet homme ! » 29 En réponse, Pierre et les Apôtres déclarèrent : « Il faut obéir à Dieu plutôt qu’aux hommes. 30 Le Dieu de nos pères a ressuscité Jésus, que vous aviez exécuté en le suspendant au bois du supplice. 31 C’est lui que Dieu, par sa main droite, a élevé, en faisant de lui le Prince et le Sauveur, pour accorder à Israël la conversion et le pardon des péchés. 32 Quant à nous, nous sommes les témoins de tout cela, avec l’Esprit Saint, que Dieu a donné à ceux qui lui obéissent. » 33 Ceux qui les avaient entendus étaient exaspérés et projetaient de les supprimer.
Evangile French	01 Je vous parle ainsi, pour que vous ne soyez pas scandalisés. 02 On vous exclura des assemblées. Bien plus, l’heure vient où tous ceux qui vous tueront s’imagineront qu’ils rendent un culte à Dieu. 03 Ils feront cela, parce qu’ils n’ont connu ni le Père ni moi. 04 Eh bien, voici pourquoi je vous dis cela : quand l’heure sera venue, vous vous souviendrez que je vous l’avais dit. Je ne vous l’ai pas dit dès le commencement, parce que j’étais avec vous.

Lecture English	21 When the high priest and his companions arrived, they convened the Sanhedrin, the full senate of the Israelites, and sent to the jail to have them brought in. 22 But the court officers who went did not find them in the prison, so they came back and reported, 23 “We found the jail securely locked and the guards stationed outside the doors, but when we opened them, we found no one inside.” 24 When they heard this report, the captain of the temple guard and the chief priests were at a loss about them, as to what this would come to. 25 Then someone came in and reported to them, “The men whom you put in prison are in the temple area and are teaching the people.” 26 Then the captain and the court officers went and brought them in, but without force, because they were afraid of being stoned by the people.g 27 When they had brought them in and made them stand before the Sanhedrin, the high priest questioned them, 28 “We gave you strict orders [did we not?] to stop teaching in that name. Yet you have filled Jerusalem with your teaching and want to bring this man’s blood upon us.”h 29 But Peter and the apostles said in reply, “We must obey God rather than men.i 30 * The God of our ancestors raised Jesus,j though you had him killed by hanging him on a tree. 31 God exalted him at his right hand* as leader and savior to grant Israel repentance and forgiveness of sins.k 32 We are witnesses of these things, as is the holy Spirit that God has given to those who obey him.”l 33 When they heard this, they became infuriated and wanted to put them to death
