Lecture Arabic	1 وإِنَّ رَجُلاً اسْمُهُ حَنَنِيَّا اتَّفَقَ مَعَ زَوْجَتِهِ سَفِيرَةَ وبَاعَ مِلْكًا لَهُ. 2 وَاخْتَلَسَ قِسْمًا مِنَ الثَّمَنِ بِعِلْمٍ مِنْ زَوْجَتِهِ، وأَتَى بِالبَاقِي وأَلْقَاهُ عِنْدَ أَقْدَامِ الرُّسُل. 3 فَقَالَ بُطْرُس: "يَا حَنَنِيَّا، لِمَاذَا مَلأَ الشَّيْطَانُ قَلْبَكَ، لِتَكْذِبَ عَلى الرُّوحِ القُدُس، وتَخْتَلِسَ قِسْمًا مِنْ ثَمَنِ الـحَقْل؟ 4 أَمَا كَانَ الـحَقْلُ بَاقِيًا لَكَ، لَوِ اسْتَبْقَيْتَهُ؟ وبَعْدَ أَنْ بِعْتَهُ، أَمَا بَقِيَ ثَمَنُهُ رَهْنَ سُلْطَانِكَ؟ فَلِمَاذا نَوَيْتَ في قَلْبِكَ هـذَا الأَمْر؟ أَنْتَ لَمْ تَكْذِبْ عَلى النَّاسِ بَلْ عَلى الله!". 5 فَلَمَّا سَمِعَ حَنَنِيَّا هـذَا الكَلام، سَقَطَ ومَات. فَاسْتَولى خَوْفٌ شَدِيدٌ عَلى جَمِيعِ الَّذِينَ سَمِعُوا بِذـلِكَ. 6 وقَامَ الشُّبَّانُ فَكَفَّنُوه، وحَمَلُوهُ إِلى الـخَارِجِ ودَفَنُوه. 7 وبَعْدَ نَحْوِ ثَلاثِ سَاعَاتٍ دَخَلَتْ أَيْضًا زَوْجَتُهُ، وهِيَ لا تَدْرِي بِمَا جَرَى، 8 فَسَأَلَهَا بُطْرُس: "قُولِي لِي، أَبِهــذَا الـمِقْدَارِ بِعْتُمَا الـحَقْل؟". فَقَالَتْ: "نَعَم بِهـذَا الـمِقْدَار!". 9 فَقَالَ لَهَا بُطْرُس: "لِمَاذَا اتَّفَقْتُمَا عَلى أَنْ تُجَرِّبَا رُوحَ الرَّبّ؟ هَا إِنَّ أَقْدَامَ الَّذِينَ دَفَنُوا زَوْجَكِ عَلى البَاب. وسَيَحْمِلُونَكِ أَنْتِ أَيْضًا!". 10 فَسَقَطَتْ فَجْأَةً عِنْدَ قَدَمَي بُطْرُسَ ومَاتَتْ. ودَخَلَ الشُّبَّانُ فوَجَدُوهَا مَيْتَة، فَحَمَلُوهَا إِلى الـخَارِجِ ودَفَنُوهَا بِجَانِبِ زَوْجِهَا. 11 فَاسْتَولَى خَوْفٌ شَدِيدٌ عَلى الكَنِيسَةِ كُلِّهَا، وعَلى جَمِيعِ الَّذِينَ سَمِعُوا بِذـلِكَ.
Evangile Arabic	18 إِنْ يُبْغِضْكُمُ العَالَم، فَاعْلَمُوا أَنَّهُ أَبْغَضَنِي قَبْلَكُم. 19 لَوْ كُنْتُم مِنَ العَالَمِ لَكَانَ العَالَمُ يُحِبُّ مَا هُوَ لَهُ. ولـكِنْ، لأَنَّكُم لَسْتُم مِنَ العَالَم، بَلْ أَنَا اخْتَرْتُكُم مِنَ العَالَم، لِذـلِكَ يُبْغِضُكُمُ العَالَم. 20 تَذَكَّرُوا الكَلِمَةَ الَّتِي قُلْتُهَا لَكُم: لَيْسَ عَبْدٌ أَعْظَمَ مِنْ سَيِّدِهِ. فَإِنْ كَانُوا قَدِ اضْطَهَدُونِي فَسَوْفَ يَضْطَهِدُونَكُم أَيْضًا. وإِنْ كَانُوا قَدْ حَفِظُوا كَلِمَتِي فَسَوْفَ يَحْفَظُونَ كَلِمَتَكُم أَيْضًا. 21 غَيرَ أَنَّهُم سَيَفْعَلُونَ بِكُم هـذَا كُلَّهُ مِنْ أَجْلِ اسْمِي، لأَنَّهُم لا يَعْرِفُونَ الَّذي أَرْسَلَنِي.

Lecture French	01 Un homme du nom d’Ananie, avec son épouse Saphira, vendit une propriété ; 02 il détourna pour lui une partie du montant de la vente, de connivence avec sa femme, et il apporta le reste pour le déposer aux pieds des Apôtres. 03 Pierre lui dit : « Ananie, comment se fait-il que Satan a envahi ton cœur, pour que tu mentes à l’Esprit, l’Esprit Saint, et que tu détournes pour toi une partie du montant du domaine ? 04 Tant que tu le possédais, il était bien à toi, et après la vente, tu pouvais disposer de la somme, n’est-ce pas ? Alors, pourquoi ce projet a-t-il germé dans ton cœur ? Tu n’as pas menti aux hommes, mais à Dieu. » 05 En entendant ces paroles, Ananie tomba, et il expira. Une grande crainte saisit tous ceux qui apprenaient la nouvelle. 06 Les jeunes gens se levèrent, enveloppèrent le corps, et ils l’emportèrent pour l’enterrer. 07 Il se passa environ trois heures, puis sa femme entra sans savoir ce qui était arrivé. 08 Pierre l’interpella : « Dis-moi : le domaine, c’est bien à ce prix-là que vous l’avez cédé ? » Elle dit : « Oui, c’est à ce prix-là. » 09 Pierre reprit : « Pourquoi cet accord entre vous pour mettre à l’épreuve l’Esprit du Seigneur ? Voici que sont à la porte les pas de ceux qui ont enterré ton mari ; ils vont t’emporter ! » 10 Aussitôt, elle tomba à ses pieds, et elle expira. Les jeunes gens, qui rentraient, la trouvèrent morte, et ils l’emportèrent pour l’enterrer auprès de son mari. 11 Une grande crainte saisit toute l’Église et tous ceux qui apprenaient cette nouvelle.
Evangile French	18 Si le monde a de la haine contre vous, sachez qu’il en a eu d’abord contre moi. 19 Si vous apparteniez au monde, le monde aimerait ce qui est à lui. Mais vous n’appartenez pas au monde, puisque je vous ai choisis en vous prenant dans le monde ; voilà pourquoi le monde a de la haine contre vous. 20 Rappelez-vous la parole que je vous ai dite : un serviteur n’est pas plus grand que son maître. Si l’on m’a persécuté, on vous persécutera, vous aussi. Si l’on a gardé ma parole, on gardera aussi la vôtre. 21 Les gens vous traiteront ainsi à cause de mon nom, parce qu’ils ne connaissent pas Celui qui m’a envoyé.

Lecture English	1 A man named Ananias, however, with his wife Sapphira, sold a piece of property. 2 He retained for himself, with his wife’s knowledge, some of the purchase price, took the remainder, and put it at the feet of the apostles. 3 But Peter said, “Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart so that you lied to the holy Spirit and retained part of the price of the land?a 4 While it remained unsold, did it not remain yours? And when it was sold, was it not still under your control? Why did you contrive this deed? You have lied not to human beings, but to God.” 5 When Ananias heard these words, he fell down and breathed his last, and great fear came upon all who heard of it. 6 The young men came and wrapped him up, then carried him out and buried him. 7 After an interval of about three hours, his wife came in, unaware of what had happened. 8 Peter said to her, “Tell me, did you sell the land for this amount?” She answered, “Yes, for that amount.” 9 Then Peter said to her, “Why did you agree to test the Spirit of the Lord? Listen, the footsteps of those who have buried your husband are at the door, and they will carry you out.” 10 At once, she fell down at his feet and breathed her last. When the young men entered they found her dead, so they carried her out and buried her beside her husband. 11 And great fear came upon the whole church and upon all who heard of these things.b
Evangile English	18 “If the world hates you, realize that it hated me first.n 19 If you belonged to the world, the world would love its own; but because you do not belong to the world, and I have chosen you out of the world, the world hates you.o 20 Remember the word I spoke to you,* ‘No slave is greater than his master.’ If they persecuted me, they will also persecute you. If they kept my word, they will also keep yours.p 21 And they will do all these things to you on account of my name,* because they do not know the one who sent me.q
