Lecture Arabic	34 فَقَامَ في الـمَجْلِسِ فَرِّيسِيٌّ اسْمُهُ جَمْلِيئِيل، عَالِمٌ بِالتَّوْرَاة، مُحْتَرَمٌ لَدَى الشَّعْبِ كُلِّهِ، وأَمَرَ بِإِخْرَاجِ أُولـئِكَ الرِّجَالِ وَقْتًا قَلِيلاً، 35 ثُمَّ قَالَ لَهُم: "أَيُّهَا الرِّجَالُ الإِسْرَائِيلِيُّون، إِحْذَرُوا لأَنفُسِكُم مِمَّا أَنْتُم مُزْمِعُونَ أَنْ تَفعَلُوهُ بِهـؤُلاءِ الرِّجَال! 36 لأَنَّهُ قَبْلَ هـذِهِ الأَيَّامِ قَامَ ثُودَاسُ وادَّعَى أَنَّهُ شَخْصٌ عَظِيم، فانْحازَ إِلَيْهِ نَحْوُ أَرْبَعِمِئَةِ رَجُل؛ وقُتِل، فَتَفَرَّقَ جَميِعُ الَّذِينَ انْقَادُوا لَهُ، ولَمْ يَبْقَ لَهُم أَثَر! 37 وبَعْدَ ثُودَاس، قَامَ يَهُوذَا الـجَلِيليُّ في أَيَّامِ الاِكْتِتَاب، وجَرَّ شَعْبًا وَرَاءَهُ؛ وهـذَا أَيْضًا هَلِكَ، وجَمِيعُ الَّذِينَ انْقَادُوا لَهُ تَشَتَّتُوا. 38 والآنَ أَقُولُ لَكُم: إِبْتَعِدُوا عَنْ هـؤُلاءِ الرِّجَالِ وَاتْرُكُوهُم. فَإِنْ كَانَ هـذَا الرَّأْيُ أَو هـذَا العَمَلُ مِنَ النَّاس، فَسَوفَ يُنْقَض. 39 أَمَّا إِنْ كَانَ مِنَ اللهِ فَلَنْ تَقْدِرُوا أَنْ تَنْقُضُوه، لِئَلاَّ تَجِدُوا أَنفُسَكُم في حَرْبٍ مَعَ الله!". فَاقْتَنَعُوا بِرَأْيِهِ. 40 واسْتَدْعَوا الرُّسُل، فَجَلَدُوهُم، وأَمَرُوهُم أَلاَّ يَتَكَلَّمُوا بِاسْمِ يَسُوع، ثُمَّ أَطْلَقُوهُم. 41 أَمَّا هُم فَذَهَبُوا مِنْ أَمَامِ أَعْضَاءِ الـمَجْلِسِ فَرِحِين، لأَنَّهُم وُجِدُوا أَهْلاً لأَنْ يُهَانُوا مِنْ أَجْلِ اسْمِ يَسُوع. 42 وكَانُوا كُلَّ يَوْمٍ في الـهَيْكَلِ وفي البُيُوت، لا يَنْفَكُّونَ يُعَلِّمُونَ ويُبَشِّرُونَ بِالـمَسِيحِ يَسُوع.
Evangile Arabic	5 أَمَّا الآنَ فَأَنَا ذَاهِبٌ إِلى مَنْ أَرْسَلَنِي، ولا أَحَدَ مِنْكُم يَسْأَلُنِي: إِلى أَيْنَ أَنْتَ ذَاهِب؟ 6 ولـكِنْ لأَنِّي كَلَّمْتُكُم بِهـذَا، مَلأَ الـحُزْنُ قُلُوبَكُم. 7 غَيْرَ أَنِّي أَقُولُ لَكُمُ الـحَقّ: خَيْرٌ لَكُم أَنْ أَمْضِي. فَإِنْ لَمْ أَمْضِ لا يَأْتِ إِلَيْكُمُ البَرَقْليطُ الـمُعَزِّي. أَمَّا إِذَا ذَهَبْتُ فَإِنِّي سَأُرْسِلُهُ إِلَيْكُم. 8 وهُوَ مَتَى جَاءَ يُوَبِّخُ العَالَمَ عَلى الـخَطيئَةِ وفي أَمْرِ البِرِّ والدَّيْنُونَة. 9 أَمَّا على الـخَطيئَةِ فَلأَنَّهُم لا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِي. 10 وأَمَّا في أَمْرِ البِرِّ فَلأَنِّي ذَاهِبٌ إِلى الآب، ولَنْ تَرَونِي مِنْ بَعْد. 11 وأَمَّا في أَمْرِ الدَّيْنُونَةِ فَلأَنَّ سُلْطَانَ هـذَا العَالَمِ قَدْ أُدِين.

Lecture French	34 Alors, dans le Conseil suprême, intervint un pharisien nommé Gamaliel, docteur de la Loi, qui était honoré par tout le peuple. Il ordonna de les faire sortir un instant, 35 puis il dit : « Vous, Israélites, prenez garde à ce que vous allez faire à ces gens-là. 36 Il y a un certain temps, se leva Theudas qui prétendait être quelqu’un, et à qui se rallièrent quatre cents hommes environ ; il a été supprimé, et tous ses partisans ont été mis en déroute et réduits à rien. 37 Après lui, à l’époque du recensement, se leva Judas le Galiléen qui a entraîné beaucoup de monde derrière lui. Il a péri lui aussi, et tous ses partisans ont été dispersés. 38 Eh bien, dans la circonstance présente, je vous le dis : ne vous occupez plus de ces gens-là, laissez-les. En effet, si leur résolution ou leur entreprise vient des hommes, elle tombera. 39 Mais si elle vient de Dieu, vous ne pourrez pas les faire tomber. Ne risquez donc pas de vous trouver en guerre contre Dieu. » Les membres du Conseil se laissèrent convaincre ; 40 ils rappelèrent alors les Apôtres et, après les avoir fait fouetter, ils leur interdirent de parler au nom de Jésus, puis ils les relâchèrent. 41 Quant à eux, quittant le Conseil suprême, ils repartaient tout joyeux d’avoir été jugés dignes de subir des humiliations pour le nom de Jésus. 42 Tous les jours, au Temple et dans leurs maisons, sans cesse, ils enseignaient et annonçaient la Bonne Nouvelle : le Christ, c’est Jésus.
Evangile French	05 Je m’en vais maintenant auprès de Celui qui m’a envoyé, et aucun de vous ne me demande : “Où vas-tu ?” 06 Mais, parce que je vous dis cela, la tristesse remplit votre cœur. 07 Pourtant, je vous dis la vérité : il vaut mieux pour vous que je m’en aille, car, si je ne m’en vais pas, le Défenseur ne viendra pas à vous ; mais si je pars, je vous l’enverrai. 08 Quand il viendra, il établira la culpabilité du monde en matière de péché, de justice et de jugement. 09 En matière de péché, puisqu’on ne croit pas en moi. 10 En matière de justice, puisque je m’en vais auprès du Père, et que vous ne me verrez plus. 11 En matière de jugement, puisque déjà le prince de ce monde est jugé.

Lecture English	34 * But a Pharisee in the Sanhedrin named Gamaliel, a teacher of the law, respected by all the people, stood up, ordered the men to be put outside for a short time,m 35 and said to them, “Fellow Israelites, be careful what you are about to do to these men. 36 * Some time ago, Theudas appeared, claiming to be someone important, and about four hundred men joined him, but he was killed, and all those who were loyal to him were disbanded and came to nothing. 37 After him came Judas the Galilean at the time of the census. He also drew people after him, but he too perished and all who were loyal to him were scattered. 38 So now I tell you, have nothing to do with these men, and let them go. For if this endeavor or this activity is of human origin, it will destroy itself. 39 But if it comes from God, you will not be able to destroy them; you may even find yourselves fighting against God.” They were persuaded by him. 40 After recalling the apostles, they had them flogged, ordered them to stop speaking in the name of Jesus, and dismissed them.n 41 So they left the presence of the Sanhedrin, rejoicing that they had been found worthy to suffer dishonor for the sake of the name.o 42 And all day long, both at the temple and in their homes, they did not stop teaching and proclaiming the Messiah, Jesus.p
Evangile English	5 But now I am going to the one who sent me, and not one of you asks me,* ‘Where are you going?’d 6 But because I told you this, grief has filled your hearts. 7 But I tell you the truth, it is better for you that I go. For if I do not go, the Advocate will not come to you.e But if I go, I will send him to you. 8 * And when he comes he will convict the world in regard to sin and righteousness and condemnation: 9 sin, because they do not believe in me;f 10 righteousness, because I am going to the Father and you will no longer see me; 11 condemnation, because the ruler of this world has been condemned.g
