Lecture Arabic	12 وكَانَتْ تَجْرِي عَلى أَيْدِي الرُّسُلِ آيَاتٌ كَثِيرَةٌ وعَجَائِبُ بَينَ الشَّعْب. وكَانُوا كلُّهُم يَجْتَمِعُونَ بِنَفْسٍ وَاحِدَةٍ في رِوَاقِ سُلَيْمَان. 13 ولَمْ يَكُنْ أَحَدٌ مِنَ الآخَرِينَ يَجْرُؤُ أَنْ يُخَالِطَهُم. لـكِنَّ الشَّعْبَ كَانَ يُعَظِّمُهُم. 14 وكَانَ كَثِيرُونَ يُؤْمِنُونَ ويَنْضَمُّونَ إِلى الرَّبّ، جُمْهُورٌ مِنْ رِجَالٍ ونِسَاء، 15 حَتَّى إِنَّهُم كَانُوا يَحْمِلُونَ الـمَرْضَى إِلى السَّاحَات، ويَضَعُونَهُم عَلى فُرْشٍ وأَسِرَّة، عَسَى أَنْ يَقَعَ ولَوْ ظِلُّ بُطْرُس، لَدَى مُرُورِهِ، عَلى أَحَدٍ مِنْهُم. 16 وكَانَ جُمْهُورٌ مِنَ الـمُدُنِ الـمُجَاوِرَةِ لأُورَشِلِيم، يَتَجَمَّعُونَ حَامِلينَ الـمَرْضَى والـمُعَذَّبينَ بِالأَرْوَاحِ النَّجِسَة، وكَانَ هـؤُلاءِ جَمِيعًا يُبْرَأُون. 17 وقَامَ عَظِيمُ الأَحْبَار، وجَمِيعُ الَّذِينَ مَعَهُ مِنْ مَذْهَبِ الصَّدُّوقِيِّين، وقَدِ امْتَلأُوا حَسَدًا، 18 فَأَلْقَوا أَيْدِيَهُم عَلى الرُّسُل، ووَضَعُوهُم في السِّجْنِ العَامّ. 19 لـكِنَّ مَلاكَ الرَّبِّ فتَحَ أَبوابَ السِّجْنِ لَيْلاً، وأَخْرَجَهُم، وقَالَ لَهُم: 20 "إِذْهَبُوا، وقِفُوا في الـهَيْكَل، وكَلِّمُوا الشَّعْبَ بِجَمِيعِ أَقْوَالِ الـحَيَاةِ هـذِهِ!". 21 فَلَمَّا سَمِعُوا ذـلِكَ، دَخَلُوا الـهَيْكَلَ عِنْدَ الفَجْرِ وأَخَذُوا يُعَلِّمُون.
Evangile Arabic	22 لَو لَمْ آتِ، وأُكَلِّمْهُم، لَمَا كَانَتْ عَلَيْهِم خَطِيئَة. أَمَّا الآنَ فَلا عُذْرَ لَهُم عَلَى خَطيئَتِهِم. 23 مَنْ يُبْغِضُنِي يُبْغِضُ أَبِي أَيْضًا. 24 لَو لَمْ أَعْمَلْ بَيْنَهُمُ الأَعْمَالَ الَّتِي لَمْ يَعْمَلْهَا أَحَدٌ سِوَاي، لَمَا كَانَ عَلَيْهِم خَطيئَة. أَمَّا الآنَ فَقَدْ رَأَوا أَعْمَالِي، ومَعَ ذـلِكَ أَبْغَضُونِي وأَبْغَضُوا أَبِي؛ 25 لِكَي تَتِمَّ الكَلِمَةُ الـمَكْتُوبَةُ في تَوْرَاتِهِم: أَبْغَضُونِي بِلا سَبَب! 26 ومَتَى جَاءَ البَرَقلِيطُ الَّذي سَأُرْسِلُهُ أَنَا إِلَيْكُم مِنْ لَدُنِ الآب، رُوحُ الـحَقِّ الـمُنْبَثِقُ مِنَ الآب، فَهُوَ يَشْهَدُ لي. 27 وأَنْتُم أَيْضًا تَشْهَدُون، لأَنَّكُم مُنْذُ البَدْءِ مَعِي.

Lecture French	12 Par les mains des Apôtres, beaucoup de signes et de prodiges s’accomplissaient dans le peuple. Tous les croyants, d’un même cœur, se tenaient sous le portique de Salomon. 13 Personne d’autre n’osait se joindre à eux ; cependant tout le peuple faisait leur éloge ; 14 de plus en plus, des foules d’hommes et de femmes, en devenant croyants, s’attachaient au Seigneur. 15 On allait jusqu’à sortir les malades sur les places, en les mettant sur des civières et des brancards : ainsi, au passage de Pierre, son ombre couvrirait l’un ou l’autre. 16 La foule accourait aussi des villes voisines de Jérusalem, en amenant des gens malades ou tourmentés par des esprits impurs. Et tous étaient guéris. 17 Alors intervint le grand prêtre, ainsi que tout son entourage, c’est-à-dire le groupe des sadducéens, qui étaient remplis d’une ardeur jalouse pour la Loi. 18 Ils mirent la main sur les Apôtres et les placèrent publiquement sous bonne garde. 19 Mais, pendant la nuit, l’ange du Seigneur ouvrit les portes de la prison et les fit sortir. Il leur dit : 20 « Partez, tenez-vous dans le Temple et là, dites au peuple toutes ces paroles de vie. » 21 Ils l’écoutèrent ; dès l’aurore, ils entrèrent dans le Temple, et là, ils enseignaient. Alors arriva le grand prêtre, ainsi que son entourage. Ils convoquèrent le Conseil suprême, toute l’assemblée des anciens d’Israël, et ils envoyèrent chercher les Apôtres dans leur cachot.
Evangile French	22 Si je n’étais pas venu, si je ne leur avais pas parlé, ils n’auraient pas de péché ; mais à présent ils sont sans excuse pour leur péché. 23 Celui qui a de la haine contre moi a de la haine aussi contre mon Père. 24 Si je n’avais pas fait parmi eux ces œuvres que personne d’autre n’a faites, ils n’auraient pas de péché. Mais à présent, ils ont vu, et ils sont remplis de haine contre moi et contre mon Père. 25 Ainsi s’est accomplie cette parole écrite dans leur Loi : Ils m’ont haï sans raison. 26 Quand viendra le Défenseur, que je vous enverrai d’auprès du Père, lui, l’Esprit de vérité qui procède du Père, il rendra témoignage en ma faveur. 27 Et vous aussi, vous allez rendre témoignage, car vous êtes avec moi depuis le commencement.

They were all together in Solomon’s portico.c 13 None of the others dared to join them, but the people esteemed them. 14 Yet more than ever, believers in the Lord, great numbers of men and women, were added to them. 15 Thus they even carried the sick out into the streets and laid them on cots and mats so that when Peter came by, at least his shadow might fall on one or another of them.d 16 A large number of people from the towns in the vicinity of Jerusalem also gathered, bringing the sick and those disturbed by unclean spirits, and they were all cured. Trial before the Sanhedrin.* 17 Then the high priest rose up and all his companions, that is, the party of the Sadducees, and, filled with jealousy,e 18 laid hands upon the apostles and put them in the public jail. 19 But during the night, the angel of the Lord opened the doors of the prison, led them out, and said,f 20 “Go and take your place in the temple area, and tell the people everything about this life.” 21 When they heard this, they went to the temple early in the morning and taught.
