Lecture Arabic	25 ونَحْوَ مُنْتَصَفِ اللَّيْل، كَانَ بُولُسُ وسِيلا يُصَلِّيَان، ويُسَبِّحَانِ الله، والسُّجَناءُ يُصْغُونَ إِلَيْهِما. 26 وحَدَثَ بَغْتَةً زَلزَلَةٌ عَظِيمَة، حتَّى تَزَعْزَعَتْ أَسَاسَاتُ السِّجْن، وانْفَتَحَتْ فَجْأَةً كُلُّ الأَبْوَاب، وانْحَلَّتْ قُيُودُ السُّجَنَاءِ جَمِيعًا. 27 ولَمَّا اسْتَيْقَظَ السَّجَّانُ، ورأَى أَبْوَابَ السِّجْنِ مَفْتُوحَة، اسْتَلَّ سَيْفَهُ وهَمَّ بِقَتْلِ نَفسِهِ، لِظَنِّهِ أَنَّ السُّجَنَاءَ قَدْ هَرَبُوا. 28 فنَادَاهُ بُولُسُ بِصَوْتٍ عَظِيمْ قائِلا: "إِيَّاكَ أَنْ تَفْعَلَ بِنَفْسِكَ شَرًّا، فنَحْنُ جَمِيعُنا هُنا!". 29 فطَلَبَ السَّجَّانُ ضَوءًا، وانْدَفَعَ إِلى الدَّاخِل، وارْتَمى مُرتَعِدًا أَمَامَ بُولُسَ وسِيلا. 30 ثُمَّ خَرَجَ بِهِمَا وقَال: "يَا سَيِّدَيَّ، مَاذَا يَنْبَغِي أَنْ أَفْعَلَ لأَخْلُص؟". 31 فقالا: " آمِنْ بِالرَّبِّ يَسُوعَ فَتَخْلُصَ أَنتَ وأَهلُ بَيتِكَ". 32 وكَلَّمَاهُ بَكَلِمَةِ الرَّبّ، هُوَ وجَميعَ مَنْ في بَيتِهِ. 33 فأَخَذَهُمَا في تِلْكَ السَّاعَةِ مِنَ اللَّيْل، وغَسَلَ جِراحَهُمَا، واعْتَمَدَ لِوَقْتِهِ هُوَ وكُلُّ ذَويه. 34 ثُمَّ صَعِدَ بِهِمَا إِلى بَيتِهِ، وأَعَدَّ لَهُما الـمَائِدَة، وابْتَهَجَ هُوَ وجَميعُ أَهلِ بَيْتِهِ، لأَنَّهُ آمَنَ بِالله.
Evangile Arabic	9 وَأَنا أَقُولُ لَكُم: إِسْأَلُوا تُعْطَوا، أُطْلُبوا تَجِدُوا، إِقْرَعُوا يُفتَحْ لَكُم. 10 فَمَنْ يَسْأَلْ يَنَلْ، وَمَنْ يَطلُبْ يَجِدْ، وَمَنْ يَقرَعْ يُفتَحْ لَهُ. 11 وَأَيُّ أَبٍ مِنْكُم يَسْأَلُهُ ابْنُهُ سَمَكةً فَيُعْطِيَهُ بَدَلَ السَّمَكَةِ حَيَّة؟ 12 أَوْ يَسْأَلُهُ بَيْضَةً فَيُعْطِيَهُ عَقْرَبًا؟ 13 فَإِذَا كُنْتُم أَنْتُمُ الأَشْرارَ تَعْرِفُونَ أَنْ تُعْطُوا أَوْلادَكُم عَطَايَا صَالِحَة، فَكَم بِالأَحْرَى الآبُ الَّذي يَمْنَحُ الرُّوحَ القُدُسَ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ لِلَّذِينَ يَسْأَلُونَهُ؟".

Lecture French	25 Vers le milieu de la nuit, Paul et Silas priaient et chantaient les louanges de Dieu, et les autres détenus les écoutaient. 26 Tout à coup, il y eut un violent tremblement de terre, qui secoua les fondations de la prison : à l’instant même, toutes les portes s’ouvrirent, et les liens de tous les détenus se détachèrent. 27 Le geôlier, tiré de son sommeil, vit que les portes de la prison étaient ouvertes ; croyant que les détenus s’étaient évadés, il dégaina son épée et il était sur le point de se donner la mort. 28 Mais Paul se mit à crier d’une voix forte : « Ne va pas te faire de mal, nous sommes tous là. » 29 Ayant réclamé de la lumière, le geôlier se précipita et, tout tremblant, se jeta aux pieds de Paul et de Silas. 30 Puis il les emmena dehors et leur demanda : « Que dois-je faire pour être sauvé, mes seigneurs ? » 31 Ils lui répondirent : « Crois au Seigneur Jésus, et tu seras sauvé, toi et toute ta maison. » 32 Ils lui annoncèrent la parole du Seigneur, ainsi qu’à tous ceux qui vivaient dans sa maison. 33 À l’heure même, en pleine nuit, le geôlier les emmena pour laver leurs plaies. Aussitôt, il reçut le baptême avec tous les siens. 34 Puis il fit monter chez lui Paul et Silas, il fit préparer la table et, avec toute sa maison, il laissa déborder sa joie de croire en Dieu.
Evangile French	09 Moi, je vous dis : Demandez, on vous donnera ; cherchez, vous trouverez ; frappez, on vous ouvrira. 10 En effet, quiconque demande reçoit ; qui cherche trouve ; à qui frappe, on ouvrira. 11 Quel père parmi vous, quand son fils lui demande un poisson, lui donnera un serpent au lieu du poisson ? 12 ou lui donnera un scorpion quand il demande un œuf ? 13 Si donc vous, qui êtes mauvais, vous savez donner de bonnes choses à vos enfants, combien plus le Père du ciel donnera-t-il l’Esprit Saint à ceux qui le lui demandent ! »

Lecture English	25 About midnight, while Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God as the prisoners listened, 26 there was suddenly such a severe earthquake that the foundations of the jail shook; all the doors flew open, and the chains of all were pulled loose. 27 When the jailer woke up and saw the prison doors wide open, he drew [his] sword and was about to kill himself, thinking that the prisoners had escaped. 28 But Paul shouted out in a loud voice, “Do no harm to yourself; we are all here.” 29 He asked for a light and rushed in and, trembling with fear, he fell down before Paul and Silas. 30 Then he brought them out and said, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?” 31 And they said, “Believe in the Lord Jesus and you and your household will be saved.” 32 So they spoke the word of the Lord to him and to everyone in his house. 33 He took them in at that hour of the night and bathed their wounds; then he and all his family were baptized at once. 34 He brought them up into his house and provided a meal and with his household rejoiced at having come to faith in God.
Evangile English	9 “And I tell you, ask and you will receive; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.d 10 For everyone who asks, receives; and the one who seeks, finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened. 11 What father among you would hand his son a snake when he asks for a fish? 12 Or hand him a scorpion when he asks for an egg? 13 If you then, who are wicked, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will the Father in heaven give the holy Spirit* to those who ask him?”
