Lecture Arabic	31 وكَانَتِ الكَنِيسَة، في كُلِّ اليَهُودِيَّةِ والـجَليلِ والسَّامِرَة، تَنعَمُ بِالسَّلام، وتَتَرَسَّخ، وتَسِيرُ بِمَخَافَةِ الرَّبّ، وتتَكاثَرُ بتَأْييدِ الرُّوحِ القُدُس. 32 وفيمَا كَانَ بُطرُسُ يَجُولُ في كُلِّ مَكَان، نَزَلَ أَيْضًا إِلى القِدِّيسينَ الْمُقِيمِينَ في اللُّدّ. 33 فوَجَدَ هُنَاكَ رجُلاً اسْمُهُ إِينِيَاس، طَرِيحَ الفِرَاشِ مُنْذُ ثَمَانِي سَنَوات؛ وكَانَ مُقعَدًا. 34 فَقَالَ لَهُ بُطرُس: "يَسُوعُ الـمَسِيحُ يَشْفِيك، يَا إِينِيَاس! فقُمْ ورَتِّبْ فِرَاشَكَ بِنَفسِكَ". فَقَامَ حَالاً. 35 ورَآهُ جَمِيعُ الـمُقِيمينَ في اللُّدِّ والشَّارُونِ فَرَجَعُوا إِلى الرَّبّ. 36 وكَانَ في يَافَا تِلمِيذَةٌ اسْمُهَا طَابِيتَا، أَي ظَبْيَة، غنِيَّةٌ بِالأَعْمَالِ الصَّالِحَةِ وبِالصَّدَقَاتِ الَّتِي كَانَتْ تَصْنَعُهَا. 37 وحَدَثَ في تِلْكَ الأَيَّامِ أَنَّهَا مَرِضَتْ، ومَاتَتْ، فغَسَلُوهَا، ووَضَعُوهَا في عِلِّيَّة. 38 وكَانَتِ اللُّدُّ قرِيبَةً مِنْ يَافَا، وسَمِعَ التَّلامِيذُ أَنَّ بُطرُسَ مَوجُودٌ فيهَا، فأَرسَلُوا إِلَيهِ رَجُلَيْنِ يَتَوَسَّلانِ قَائِلَيْن: "لا تتَأَخَّرْ في الْمَجِيءِ إِلَينَا!". 39 فقَامَ بُطْرُسُ ومَضَى معَهُما، ولَمَّا وصَلَ، صَعِدُوا بِهِ إلى العِلِّيَّة، فوَقَفَتْ لَدَيهِ جَمِيعُ الأَرَامِلِ يَبكِينَ ويُرِينَهُ الأَقْمِصَةَ والأَثْوَابَ الَّتِي كَانَتْ تَصْنَعُها ظَبْيَةُ حِينَ كَانَتْ معَهُنَّ. 40 فأَخْرَجَ بُطْرُسُ جَمِيعَ الْحَاضِرين، وجَثا، وصلَّى، ثُمَّ الْتَفَتَ إلى الـجُثْمَانِ وقَال: "طابِيتا، قُومِي!". ففَتَحَتْ عَينَيْها ورَأَتْ بُطرُسَ وجَلَسَتْ. 41 فَمَدَّ بُطرُسُ إِلَيْهَا يَدَهُ، وأَقَامَهَا. ثُمَّ دَعَا القِدِّيسينَ والأَرامِلَ وأَوْقَفَها حَيَّةً أَمَامَهُم. 42 وذَاعَ الـخَبَرُ في يَافَا كُلِّها، فآمَنَ كَثيرُونَ بِالرَّبّ. 43 ومَكَثَ بُطرُسُ أَيَّامًا عَدِيدَةً بِيَافَا، بِبَيْتِ دَبَّاغٍ اسْمُهُ سِمْعَان.
Evangile Arabic	9 فَكُونُوا أَنْتُم عَلى حَذَر: سَيُسْلِمُونَكُم إِلى الـمَجَالِسِ وَالـمَجَامِع، ويَضْرِبُونَكُم، ويُوقِفُونَكُم أَمَامَ الوُلاةِ وَالـمُلُوك، مِنْ أَجْلِي، شَهَادةً لَهُم. 10 ولا بُدَّ أَنْ يُكْرَزَ أَوَّلاً بِالإِنْجِيلِ في كُلِّ الأُمَم. 11 وحِينَ يَسُوقُونَكُم لِيُسْلِمُوكُم، لا تَهْتَمُّوا بِمَاذَا تَتَكَلَّمُون، بَلْ تَكَلَّمُوا بِمَا تُعْطَونَهُ في تِلْكَ السَّاعَة، لأَنَّكُم لَسْتُم أَنْتُمُ الـمُتَكَلِّمِين، بَلِ الرُّوحُ القُدُس. 12 وسَيُسْلِمُ الأَخُ أَخَاهُ إِلى الـمَوْت، والأَبُ ابْنَهُ، ويَتَمَرَّدُ الأَوْلادُ عَلَى وَالِدِيهِم، ويَقْتُلُونَهُم. 13 ويُبْغِضُكُم جَمِيعُ النَّاسِ مِنْ أَجْلِ اسْمِي. ومَنْ يَصْبِرْ إِلى النِّهَايَةِ يَخْلُصْ.

Lecture French	31 L’Église était en paix dans toute la Judée, la Galilée et la Samarie ; elle se construisait et elle marchait dans la crainte du Seigneur ; réconfortée par l’Esprit Saint, elle se multipliait. 32 Or, il arriva que Pierre, parcourant tout le pays, se rendit aussi chez les fidèles qui habitaient Lod. 33 Il y trouva un homme du nom d’Énéas, alité depuis huit ans parce qu’il était paralysé. 34 Pierre lui dit : « Énéas, Jésus Christ te guérit, lève-toi et fais ton lit toi-même. » Et aussitôt il se leva. 35 Alors tous les habitants de Lod et de la plaine de Sarone purent le voir, et ils se convertirent en se tournant vers le Seigneur. 36 Il y avait aussi à Jaffa une femme disciple du Seigneur, nommée Tabitha, ce qui se traduit : Dorcas (c’est-à-dire : Gazelle). Elle était riche des bonnes œuvres et des aumônes qu’elle faisait. 37 Or, il arriva en ces jours-là qu’elle tomba malade et qu’elle mourut. Après la toilette funèbre, on la déposa dans la chambre haute. 38 Comme Lod est près de Jaffa, les disciples, apprenant que Pierre s’y trouvait, lui envoyèrent deux hommes avec cet appel : « Viens chez nous sans tarder. » 39 Pierre se mit en route avec eux. À son arrivée on le fit monter à la chambre haute. Toutes les veuves en larmes s’approchèrent de lui ; elles lui montraient les tuniques et les manteaux confectionnés par Dorcas quand celle-ci était avec elles. 40 Pierre mit tout le monde dehors ; il se mit à genoux et pria ; puis il se tourna vers le corps, et il dit : « Tabitha, lève-toi ! » Elle ouvrit les yeux et, voyant Pierre, elle se redressa et s’assit. 41 Pierre, lui donnant la main, la fit lever. Puis il appela les fidèles et les veuves et la leur présenta vivante. 42 La chose fut connue dans toute la ville de Jaffa, et beaucoup crurent au Seigneur. 43 Pierre resta assez longtemps à Jaffa, chez un certain Simon, qui travaillait le cuir.

Lecture English	31 * The church throughout all Judea, Galilee, and Samaria was at peace. It was being built up and walked in the fear of the Lord, and with the consolation of the holy Spirit it grew in numbers. Peter Heals Aeneas at Lydda. 32 As Peter was passing through every region, he went down to the holy ones living in Lydda. 33 There he found a man named Aeneas, who had been confined to bed for eight years, for he was paralyzed. 34 Peter said to him, “Aeneas, Jesus Christ heals you. Get up and make your bed.” He got up at once. 35 And all the inhabitants of Lydda and Sharon saw him, and they turned to the Lord. Peter Restores Tabitha to Life. 36 Now in Joppa there was a disciple named Tabitha (which translated means Dorcas).* She was completely occupied with good deeds and almsgiving. 37 Now during those days she fell sick and died, so after washing her, they laid [her] out in a room upstairs. 38 Since Lydda was near Joppa, the disciples, hearing that Peter was there, sent two men to him with the request, “Please come to us without delay.” 39 So Peter got up and went with them. When he arrived, they took him to the room upstairs where all the widows came to him weeping and showing him the tunics and cloaks that Dorcas had made while she was with them. 40 Peter sent them all out and knelt down and prayed. Then he turned to her body and said, “Tabitha, rise up.” She opened her eyes, saw Peter, and sat up.q 41 He gave her his hand and raised her up, and when he had called the holy ones and the widows, he presented her alive. 42 This became known all over Joppa, and many came to believe in the Lord. 43 * r And he stayed a long time in Joppa with Simon, a tanner.
Evangile English	9 d “Watch out for yourselves. They will hand you over to the courts. You will be beaten in synagogues. You will be arraigned before governors and kings because of me, as a witness before them. 10 But the gospel must first be preached to all nations.* 11 When they lead you away and hand you over, do not worry beforehand about what you are to say.e But say whatever will be given to you at that hour. For it will not be you who are speaking but the holy Spirit. 12 Brother will hand over brother to death, and the father his child; children will rise up against parents and have them put to death. 13 You will be hated by all because of my name. But the one who perseveres to the end will be saved.
