Lecture Arabic	22 حِينَئِذٍ رَأَى الرُّسُلُ والكَهَنَةُ والكَنِيسَةُ كُلُّها أَنْ يَخْتَارُوا رَجُلَيْنِ مِنهُم، ويُرسِلُوهُما إِلى أَنْطَاكِيَةَ مَعَ بُولُسَ وبَرْنَابَا. فَاخْتارُوا يَهُوذَا الـمَدْعُوَّ بَرْسَابَا، وسِيلا، رَجُلَيْنِ مُتَقَدِّمَيْنِ بَيْنَ الإِخْوَة. 23 وكَتبُوا بِيَدِهِم هـذِهِ الرِّسَّالة: "مِنَ الإِخْوَةِ الرُّسُلِ والكَهَنَةِ إِلى الإِخْوَةِ الـمُهْتَدِينَ مِنَ الوَثَنِيِّين، في أَنْطَاكِيَةَ وسُورِيَّا وقِيلِيقِيَة، سَلام! 24 سَمِعْنا أَنَّ أُناسًا مِنَّا جَاؤُوا إِلَيْكُم، بِدُونِ تَفْوِيضٍ مِنَّا، فأَزْعَجُوكُم بِأَقْوَالِهِم، وبَعَثُوا القَلَقَ في نُفُوسِكُم. 25 فَرَأَيْنا نَحْنُ الـمُجْتَمِعينَ مَعًا أَنْ نَخْتَارَ رَجُلَيْنِ ونُرْسِلَهُما إِلَيكُم مَعَ الـحَبِيبَيْنِ بَرْنَابَا وبُولُس، 26 وهُمَا رَجُلانِ بَذَلا حيَاتَهُمَا مِنْ أَجْلِ اسْمِ رَبِّنَا يَسُوعَ الـمَسِيح. 27 لَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا إِذًا يَهُوذَا وسِيلا، وهُمَا يُخْبِرانِكُم بِهـذِهِ الأُمُورِ عَيْنِها مُشَافَهَةً. 28 فقَد رأَى الرُّوحُ القُدُسُ ونَحْنُ أَلاَّ نَضَعَ عَلَيْكُم ثِقْلاً فَوْقَ هـذِهِ الأُمُورِ الَّتِي لا بُدَّ مِنْها، 29 وهِيَ أَنْ تَمْتَنِعُوا عَنْ ذبَائِحِ الأَصْنَام، والدَّم، ولَحْمِ الـحَيَوانِ الـمَخْنُوق، والفُجُور. فَإِنْ تَصُونُوا أَنْفُسَكُم مِنْها، فحَسَنًا تَفْعَلُون. كُونُوا مُعافَيْن!". 30 فَانْصَرَفُوا ونَزَلُوا إِلى أَنْطَاكِيَة، وجَمَعُوا جُمْهُورَ الإِخْوَة، وسَلَّمُوا إِلَيْهِمِ الرِّسالَة.
Evangile Arabic	38 وَفيمَا كَانُوا سَائِرين، دَخَلَ يَسُوعُ إِحْدَى القُرَى، فاسْتَقْبَلَتْهُ في بَيتِهَا امْرَأَةٌ اسْمُها مَرْتا. 39 وَكانَ لِمَرْتَا أُخْتٌ تُدْعَى مَرْيَم. فَجَلَسَتْ عِنْدَ قَدَمَي الرَّبِّ تَسْمَعُ كَلامَهُ. 40 أَمَّا مَرْتَا فَكانَتْ مُنْهَمِكَةً بِكَثْرَةِ الـخِدْمَة، فَجَاءَتْ وَقَالَتْ: "يَا رَبّ، أَمَا تُبَالي بِأَنَّ أُخْتِي تَرَكَتْنِي أَخْدُمُ وَحْدِي؟ فَقُلْ لَهَا أَنْ تُسَاعِدَنِي!". 41 فَأَجَابَ الرَّبُّ وَقَالَ لَهَا: "مَرْتا، مَرْتا، إِنَّكِ تَهْتَمِّينَ بِأُمُورٍ كَثِيرَة، وَتَضْطَرِبِين! 42 إِنَّمَا الـمَطْلُوبُ وَاحِد! فَمَرْيَمُ اخْتَارَتِ النَّصِيبَ الأَفْضَل، وَلَنْ يُنْزَعَ مِنْهَا".

Lecture French	22 Alors les Apôtres et les Anciens décidèrent avec toute l’Église de choisir parmi eux des hommes qu’ils enverraient à Antioche avec Paul et Barnabé. C’étaient des hommes qui avaient de l’autorité parmi les frères : Jude, appelé aussi Barsabbas, et Silas. 23 Voici ce qu’ils écrivirent de leur main : « Les Apôtres et les Anciens, vos frères, aux frères issus des nations, qui résident à Antioche, en Syrie et en Cilicie, salut ! 24 Attendu que certains des nôtres, comme nous l’avons appris, sont allés, sans aucun mandat de notre part, tenir des propos qui ont jeté chez vous le trouble et le désarroi, 25 nous avons pris la décision, à l’unanimité, de choisir des hommes que nous envoyons chez vous, avec nos frères bien-aimés Barnabé et Paul, 26 eux qui ont fait don de leur vie pour le nom de notre Seigneur Jésus Christ. 27 Nous vous envoyons donc Jude et Silas, qui vous confirmeront de vive voix ce qui suit : 28 L’Esprit Saint et nous-mêmes avons décidé de ne pas faire peser sur vous d’autres obligations que celles-ci, qui s’imposent : 29 vous abstenir des viandes offertes en sacrifice aux idoles, du sang, des viandes non saignées et des unions illégitimes. Vous agirez bien, si vous vous gardez de tout cela. Bon courage ! » 30 On laissa donc partir les délégués, et ceux-ci descendirent alors à Antioche. Ayant réuni la multitude des disciples, ils remirent la lettre.
Evangile French	38 Chemin faisant, Jésus entra dans un village. Une femme nommée Marthe le reçut. 39 Elle avait une sœur appelée Marie qui, s’étant assise aux pieds du Seigneur, écoutait sa parole. 40 Quant à Marthe, elle était accaparée par les multiples occupations du service. Elle intervint et dit : « Seigneur, cela ne te fait rien que ma sœur m’ait laissé faire seule le service ? Dis-lui donc de m’aider. » 41 Le Seigneur lui répondit : « Marthe, Marthe, tu te donnes du souci et tu t’agites pour bien des choses. 42 Une seule est nécessaire. Marie a choisi la meilleure part, elle ne lui sera pas enlevée. » Premier

Lecture English	22 Then the apostles and presbyters, in agreement with the whole church, decided to choose representatives and to send them to Antioch with Paul and Barnabas. The ones chosen were Judas, who was called Barsabbas, and Silas, leaders among the brothers. 23 This is the letter delivered by them: “The apostles and the presbyters, your brothers, to the brothers in Antioch, Syria, and Cilicia of Gentile origin: greetings. 24 Since we have heard that some of our number [who went out] without any mandate from us have upset you with their teachings and disturbed your peace of mind, 25 we have with one accord decided to choose representatives and to send them to you along with our beloved Barnabas and Paul, 26 who have dedicated their lives to the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. 27 So we are sending Judas and Silas who will also convey this same message by word of mouth: 28 k ‘It is the decision of the holy Spirit and of us not to place on you any burden beyond these necessities, 29 namely, to abstain from meat sacrificed to idols, from blood, from meats of strangled animals, and from unlawful marriage. If you keep free of these, you will be doing what is right. Farewell.’”l Delegates at Antioch. 30 And so they were sent on their journey. Upon their arrival in Antioch they called the assembly together and delivered the letter.
Evangile English	38 a As they continued their journey he entered a village where a woman whose name was Martha welcomed him. 39 * She had a sister named Mary [who] sat beside the Lord at his feet listening to him speak. 40 Martha, burdened with much serving, came to him and said, “Lord, do you not care that my sister has left me by myself to do the serving? Tell her to help me.” 41 The Lord said to her in reply, “Martha, Martha, you are anxious and worried about many things. 42 * There is need of only one thing. Mary has chosen the better part and it will not be taken from her.”
