Lecture Arabic	12 ولَمَّا أَقْبَلَ النَّهَار، تآمَرَ بَعْضُ اليَهُودِ فوَضَعُوا حِرْمًا عَلى أَنْفُسِهِم أَلاَّ يَأْكُلُوا ولا يَشْرَبُوا حتَّى يَقْتُلُوا بُولُس. 13 وكَانَ الَّذِينَ دَبَّرُوا هـذِهِ الـمُؤامَرَةَ أَكْثَرَ مِنْ أَرْبَعينَ رَجُلاً. 14 هـؤُلاءِ جَاؤُوا إِلى الأَحْبَارِ والشُّيُوخِ وقَالُوا: "لَقَدْ حَرَمْنَا أَنْفُسَنَا حِرْمًا أَلاَّ نَذُوقَ شَيْئًا حَتَّى نَقْتُلَ بُولُس! 15 فَالآنَ أَشِيرُوا أَنْتُم والـمَجْلِسُ عَلى قَائِدِ الأَلْفِ أَنْ يُحْضِرَ بُولُسَ إِلَيْكُم، كَأَنَّكُم تُرِيدُونَ أَنْ تَفْحَصُوا عَنْ أَمْرِهِ فَحْصًا أَدَقّ، ونَحْنُ مُسْتَعِدُّونَ لِقَتْلِهِ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَقْتَرِبَ مِنَ الـمَجْلِس". 16 وسَمِعَ ابْنُ أُخْتِ بُولُسَ بِالكَمِين، فَذَهَبَ إِلى القَلْعَة، ودَخَلَ فأَطْلَعَ بُولُسَ عَلى الأَمْر. 17 فدَعَا بُولُسُ أَحَدَ قَادَةِ الـمِئَةِ وقَالَ لَهُ: "إِذْهَبْ بِهـذَا الفَتَى إِلى قَائِدِ الأَلْف، فإِنَّ عِنْدَهُ مَا يُطْلِعُهُ عَلَيْه". 18 فأَخَذَهُ قَائِدُ الـمِئَةِ وذَهَبَ بِهِ إِلى قَائِدِ الأَلْف، وقَال: "لَقَدْ دَعَاني السَّجينُ بُولُس، وسَأَلَنِي أَنْ أُحْضِرَ إِلَيْكَ هـذَا الفَتَى، لأَنَّ عِنْدَهُ مَا يَقُولُهُ لَكَ". 19 فأَخَذَهُ قَائِدُ الأَلْفِ بِيَدِهِ، وانْفَرَدَ بِهِ عَلى حِدَة، وسَأَلَهُ: "مَا عِنْدَكَ مِنْ خَبَرٍ تُطْلِعُنِي عَلَيْه؟". 20 فقَال: "إِنَّ اليَهُودَ قَدِ اتَّفَقُوا عَلى أَنْ يَسْأَلُوكَ أَنْ تُحْضِرَ بُولُسَ غَدًا إِلى الـمَجْلِس، كَأَنَّهُم يُريدُونَ أَنْ يَسْتَعْلِمُوا عَنْ أَمْرِهِ بِوَجْهٍ أَدَقّ. 21 فأَنْتَ لا تُصَدِّقْهُم، لأَنَّ أَكْثَرَ مِنْ أَرْبَعينَ رَجُلاً قَدْ كَمَنُوا لَهُ، ووَضَعُوا حِرْمًا عَلى أَنْفُسِهِم أَلاَّ يأْكُلُوا ولا يَشْرَبُوا حتَّى يَقْتُلُوه. وهُمُ الآنَ مُسْتَعِدُّونَ يَنْتَظِرُونَ مِنْكَ الـمُوافَقَة". 22 فصَرَفَ قَائِدُ الأَلْفِ الفَتَى، وأَوْصَاهُ قَال: "لا تُخْبِرْ أَحَدًا أَنَّكَ أَطْلَعْتَنِي عَلى ذـلِكَ".
Evangile Arabic	13 وَقَالَ لَهُ وَاحِدٌ مِنَ الـجَمْع:"يَا مُعَلِّم، قُلْ لأَخِي أَنْ يُقَاسِمَنِي الـمِيرَاث". 14 فَقَالَ لهُ: "يا رَجُل، مَنْ أَقَامَنِي عَلَيْكُمَا قَاضِيًا وَمُقَسِّمًا؟" . 15 ثُمَّ قَالَ لَهُم: "إِحْذَرُوا، وَتَحَفَّظُوا مِنْ كُلِّ طَمَع، لأَنَّهُ مَهْمَا كَثُرَ غِنَى الإِنْسَان، فَحَياتُهُ لَيْسَتْ مِنْ مُقْتَنَياتِهِ". 16 وَقَالَ لَهُم هـذَا الـمَثَل: "رَجُلٌ غَنِيٌّ أَغَلَّتْ لهُ أَرْضُهُ. 17 فَرَاحَ يُفَكِّرُ في نَفْسِهِ قَائِلاً: مَاذَا أَفْعَل، وَلَيْسَ لَدَيَّ مَا أَخْزُنُ فِيهِ غَلاَّتِي؟ 18 ثُمَّ قَال: سَأَفْعَلُ هـذَا: أَهْدِمُ أَهْرَائِي، وَأَبْنِي أَكْبَرَ مِنْها، وَأَخْزُنُ فِيهَا كُلَّ حِنْطَتِي وَخَيْراتِي، 19 وَأَقُولُ لِنَفْسِي: يا نَفْسِي، لَكِ خَيْرَاتٌ كَثِيرَةٌ مُدَّخَرَةٌ لِسِنينَ كَثِيرَة، فاسْتَريِحي، وَكُلِي، واشْرَبِي، وَتَنَعَّمِي! 20 فَقَالَ لَهُ الله: يا جَاهِل، في هـذِهِ اللَّيْلَةِ تُطْلَبُ مِنْكَ نَفْسُكَ. وَمَا أَعْدَدْتَهُ لِمَنْ يَكُون؟ 21 هـكذَا هِيَ حَالُ مَنْ يَدَّخِرُ لِنَفْسِهِ، وَلا يَغْتَنِي لله".

Lecture French	12 Lorsqu’il fit jour, les Juifs organisèrent un rassemblement où ils se jurèrent, sous peine d’anathème, de ne plus manger ni boire tant qu’ils n’auraient pas tué Paul. 13 Les auteurs de cette conjuration étaient plus de quarante. 14 Ils vinrent trouver les grands prêtres et les anciens pour leur dire : « Nous nous sommes juré, sous peine d’anathème, de ne prendre aucune nourriture tant que nous n’aurons pas tué Paul. 15 Alors vous, d’accord avec le Conseil suprême, faites un rapport au commandant pour qu’il le fasse comparaître devant vous sous prétexte de mener une enquête plus approfondie sur son cas. Nous nous tenons prêts pour le supprimer avant qu’il n’arrive. » 16 Mais le fils de la sœur de Paul eut connaissance du guet-apens ; il se présenta à la forteresse et, une fois entré, avertit Paul. 17 Paul alors appela l’un des centurions et lui dit : « Emmène ce garçon chez le commandant : il doit l’avertir de quelque chose. » 18 Le centurion le prit avec lui et le mena chez le commandant, auquel il dit : « Le prisonnier Paul m’a appelé pour me demander de t’amener ce jeune garçon qui a quelque chose à te dire. » 19 Le commandant prit celui-ci par la main, l’emmena à l’écart et l’interrogea en particulier : « De quoi dois-tu m’avertir ? » 20 Il répondit : « Les Juifs ont convenu de te demander de faire comparaître Paul demain devant le Conseil suprême sous prétexte d’une information plus approfondie sur son cas. 21 Mais toi, ne leur fais pas confiance ; en effet, parmi eux plus de quarante hommes préparent un guet-apens contre lui : ils se sont juré, sous peine d’anathème, de ne plus manger ni boire tant qu’ils ne l’auront pas supprimé. Et maintenant, ils se tiennent prêts en attendant ton accord. » 22 Le commandant renvoya le jeune garçon en lui donnant cette consigne : « Ne raconte à personne que tu m’as rapporté tout cela. »
Evangile French	13 Du milieu de la foule, quelqu’un demanda à Jésus : « Maître, dis à mon frère de partager avec moi notre héritage. » 14 Jésus lui répondit : « Homme, qui donc m’a établi pour être votre juge ou l’arbitre de vos partages ? » 15 Puis, s’adressant à tous : « Gardez-vous bien de toute avidité, car la vie de quelqu’un, même dans l’abondance, ne dépend pas de ce qu’il possède. » 16 Et il leur dit cette parabole : « Il y avait un homme riche, dont le domaine avait bien rapporté. 17 Il se demandait : “Que vais-je faire ? Car je n’ai pas de place pour mettre ma récolte.” 18 Puis il se dit : “Voici ce que je vais faire : je vais démolir mes greniers, j’en construirai de plus grands et j’y mettrai tout mon blé et tous mes biens. 19 Alors je me dirai à moi-même : Te voilà donc avec de nombreux biens à ta disposition, pour de nombreuses années. Repose-toi, mange, bois, jouis de l’existence.” 20 Mais Dieu lui dit : “Tu es fou : cette nuit même, on va te redemander ta vie. Et ce que tu auras accumulé, qui l’aura ?” 21 Voilà ce qui arrive à celui qui amasse pour lui-même, au lieu d’être riche en vue de Dieu. »

Lecture English	12 When day came, the Jews made a plot and bound themselves by oath not to eat or drink until they had killed Paul. 13 There were more than forty who formed this conspiracy. 14 They went to the chief priests and elders and said, “We have bound ourselves by a solemn oath to taste nothing until we have killed Paul. 15 You, together with the Sanhedrin, must now make an official request to the commander to have him bring him down to you, as though you meant to investigate his case more thoroughly. We on our part are prepared to kill him before he arrives.” 16 The son of Paul’s sister, however, heard about the ambush; so he went and entered the compound and reported it to Paul. 17 Paul then called one of the centurions* and requested, “Take this young man to the commander; he has something to report to him.” 18 So he took him and brought him to the commander and explained, “The prisoner Paul called me and asked that I bring this young man to you; he has something to say to you.” 19 The commander took him by the hand, drew him aside, and asked him privately, “What is it you have to report to me?” 20 He replied, “The Jews have conspired to ask you to bring Paul down to the Sanhedrin tomorrow, as though they meant to inquire about him more thoroughly, 21 but do not believe them. More than forty of them are lying in wait for him; they have bound themselves by oath not to eat or drink until they have killed him. They are now ready and only wait for your consent.” 22 As the commander dismissed the young man he directed him, “Tell no one that you gave me this information.”
Evangile English	13 * Someone in the crowd said to him, “Teacher, tell my brother to share the inheritance with me.” 14 He replied to him, “Friend, who appointed me as your judge and arbitrator?”h 15 Then he said to the crowd, “Take care to guard against all greed, for though one may be rich, one’s life does not consist of possessions.”i Parable of the Rich Fool. 16 Then he told them a parable. “There was a rich man whose land produced a bountiful harvest. 17 He asked himself, ‘What shall I do, for I do not have space to store my harvest?’ 18 And he said, ‘This is what I shall do: I shall tear down my barns and build larger ones. There I shall store all my grain and other goods 19 j and I shall say to myself, “Now as for you, you have so many good things stored up for many years, rest, eat, drink, be merry!”’k 20 But God said to him, ‘You fool, this night your life will be demanded of you; and the things you have prepared, to whom will they belong?’ 21 Thus will it be for the one who stores up treasure for himself but is not rich in what matters to God.”*
