Lecture Arabic	1 وقَالَ أَغْرِيبَا لِبُولُس: "يُؤْذَنُ لَكَ بِالْكَلامِ عَنْ نَفْسِكَ". حِينَئِذٍ بَسَطَ بُولُسُ يَدَهُ، وأَخَذَ يُدَافِعُ عَنْ نَفْسِهِ فَقَال: 2 "أَيُّهَا الـمَلِكُ أَغرِيبَا، إِنِّي أَحْسَبُ نَفْسي سَعِيدًا، إِذْ أُدَافِعُ عَنْ نَفْسي أَمَامَكَ في كُلِّ مَا يَتَّهِمُنِي بِهِ اليَهُود، 6 والآنَ أَنَا وَاقِـفٌ أُحَاكَمُ عَلى رَجَـاءِ الـوَعْدِ الَّذِي وَعـَــدَ بِــهِ اللهُ آباءَنَــا، 7 ويَـرْجُو تَحْقِيقَهُ أَسْبَاطُنَـا الاثْنَـا عَـشَرَ في مُوَاظَبَتِهِم عَلى عِبَـادَةِ اللهِ لَيْلَ نَهَار. فَمِنْ أَجْلِ هـذَا الرَّجَاء، أَيُّهَا الـمَلِـك، يَشْكُونِـي اليَهُود. 8 لِمَـاذَا تَـرَوْنَ غَـيرَ جَدِيرٍ بِالتَّصْدِيقِ أَنَّ اللهَ يُقيـمُ الأَمْـوَات؟ 9 فَـأَنَــا كُنْتُ رَأَيْتُ مِنْ وَاجِبي أَنْ أُقَــاوِمَ بِشَـتَّى الوَسَائِلِ اسْمَ يَسُوعَ النَّاصِرِيّ. 10 وهـذَا مَـا فَعَلْتُهُ في أُورَشَليم، فَقَدْ نِلْـــتُ سُلْطَانـًا مِنَ الأَحْبَـار، فَطَرَحْتُ أَنَـا بِنَفْسِي في السُّجُونِ قِدِّيسينَ كَثيرين، وكُنْـتُ مِمَّــنِ اقْــتَرَعَ على قَتْلِهِــم. 12 ولَمَّــا كُنْــتُ ذَاهِبــاً إِلى دِمَشْـقَ بِسُلْطَانٍ وَإِذْنٍ مِنَ الأَحْبَار، 13 رَأَيْـتُ ، أَيُّهَا الـمَلِـك، على الطَّرِيق، في مُنْتَصَـفِ النَّهَار، نُــورًا مِنَ السَّمَاءِ يَفُـوقُ لَمَعَـانَ الشَّمْسِ وقَـدْ غَمَرَنِـي أَنَا والذَّاهِبينَ مَعِي. 14 فَسَقَطْنَـا جَمِيعُنَــا على الأَرْض، وسَمِعْـتُ صَوْتًا يَقُولُ بِاللُّغَةِ العِبْريَّة: شَاوُل، شَاوُل، لِـمَاذَا تَضْطَهِدُنِــي؟ صَعْبٌ علَيْكَ أَنْ تَـرْفُسَ الـمِهْمَـاز!. 15 فَقُلْتُ: مَـنْ أَنْتَ يَا رَبّ ؟ . فقَـالَ الـرَّبّ : أَنَـا هُوَ يَسُوعُ الَّذِي أَنْتَ تَضْطَهِدُهُ. 16 ولـكِنْ قُــمْ وَقِـفْ على قَدَمَيْـك، فقَدْ تَراءَيْتُ لَكَ لأَجْعَلَ مِنْكَ خَـادِمًا وشَاهِدًا على مَـا رَأَيْتَنِي فِيه، وعلى مَـا سَوْفَ أَتَرَاءَى لَـكَ فِيـه. 17 وأَنَا أُنْقِــذُكَ مِنْ شَعْبِكَ ومِنَ الأُمَــمِ الَّذِينَ أُرْسِلُكَ أَنَــا إِلَيْهِم، 18 لِتَفْتَــحَ عُيُونَــهُم فَيَعُودُوا مِنَ الظَّـلامِ إِلى النُّور، ومِنْ سُلْطَانِ الشَّيْطَانِ إِلى الله، فَيَنَالُوا، بِإِيْمَانِهِم بِـي، مَغْفِــرَةَ الـخَطَايَـا ومِيرَاثـًا مَـعَ الـمُقَدَّسِين. 19 ومِنْ ذ,لِكَ الـحِين، أَيُّـهَـا الـمَلِـكُ أَغْرِيبَـا، مَـا عَصَيْـتُ الـرُّؤْيَـا السَّمَاوِيَّة،
Evangile Arabic	49 جِئْتُ أُلْقِي عَلَى الأَرْضِ نَارًا، وَكَمْ أَوَدُّ لَوْ تَكُونُ قَدِ اشْتَعَلَتْ! 50 وَلي مَعْمُودِيَّةٌ أَتَعَمَّدُ بِهَا، وَمَا أَشَدَّ تَضَايُقِي إِلى أَنْ تَتِمّ! 51 هَلْ تَظُنُّونَ أَنِّي جِئْتُ أُحِلُّ في الأَرْضِ سَلامًا؟ أقُولُ لَكُم: لا! بَلِ انْقِسَامًا! 52 فَمُنْذُ الآنَ يَكُونُ خَمْسَةٌ في بَيْتٍ وَاحِد، فَيَنْقَسِمُون: ثَلاثةٌ عَلَى اثْنَيْن، واثْنَانِ عَلى ثَلاثَة! 53 يَنْقَسِمُ أَبٌ عَلَى ابْنِهِ وابْنٌ عَلَى أَبِيه، أُمٌّ عَلَى ابْنَتِهَا وابْنَةٌ عَلَى أُمِّهَا، حَمَاةٌ عَلَى كَنَّتِها وَكَنَّةٌ عَلَى حَمَاتِها!".

Lecture French	01 Alors Agrippa s’adressa à Paul : « Tu es autorisé à plaider ta cause. » Après avoir levé la main, Paul présenta sa défense : 02 « Sur tous les points dont je suis accusé par les Juifs, je m’estime heureux, roi Agrippa, d’avoir à présenter ma défense aujourd’hui devant toi, 06 Et maintenant, si je suis là en jugement, c’est parce que je mets mon espérance en la promesse faite par Dieu à nos pères, 07 promesse dont nos douze tribus espèrent l’accomplissement, elles qui rendent un culte à Dieu jour et nuit avec persévérance. C’est pour cette espérance, ô roi, que je suis accusé par les Juifs. 08 Pourquoi, chez vous, juge-t-on incroyable que Dieu ressuscite les morts ? 09 Pour moi, j’ai pensé qu’il fallait combattre très activement le nom de Jésus le Nazaréen. 10 C’est ce que j’ai fait à Jérusalem : j’ai moi-même emprisonné beaucoup de fidèles, en vertu des pouvoirs reçus des grands prêtres ; et quand on les mettait à mort, j’avais apporté mon suffrage. 12 C’est ainsi que j’allais à Damas muni d’un pouvoir et d’une procuration des grands prêtres ; 13 en plein midi, sur la route, ô roi, j’ai vu, venant du ciel, une lumière plus éclatante que le soleil, qui m’enveloppa, moi et ceux qui m’accompagnaient. 14 Tous, nous sommes tombés à terre, et j’ai entendu une voix qui me disait en araméen : “Saul, Saul, pourquoi me persécuter ? Il est dur pour toi de résister à l’aiguillon.” 15 Et moi je dis : “Qui es-tu, Seigneur ?” Le Seigneur répondit : “Je suis Jésus, celui que tu persécutes. 16 Mais relève-toi, et tiens-toi debout ; voici pourquoi je te suis apparu : c’est pour te destiner à être serviteur et témoin de ce moment où tu m’as vu, et des moments où je t’apparaîtrai encore, 17 pour te délivrer de ton peuple et des non-Juifs. Moi, je t’envoie vers eux, 18 pour leur ouvrir les yeux, pour les ramener des ténèbres vers la lumière et du pouvoir de Satan vers Dieu, afin qu’ils reçoivent, par la foi en moi, le pardon des péchés et une part d’héritage avec ceux qui ont été sanctifiés.” 19 Dès lors, roi Agrippa, je n’ai pas désobéi à cette vision céleste,
Evangile French	49 Je suis venu apporter un feu sur la terre, et comme je voudrais qu’il soit déjà allumé ! 50 Je dois recevoir un baptême, et quelle angoisse est la mienne jusqu’à ce qu’il soit accompli ! 51 Pensez-vous que je sois venu mettre la paix sur la terre ? Non, je vous le dis, mais bien plutôt la division. 52 Car désormais cinq personnes de la même famille seront divisées : trois contre deux et deux contre trois ; 53 ils se diviseront : le père contre le fils et le fils contre le père, la mère contre la fille et la fille contre la mère, la belle-mère contre la belle-fille et la belle-fille contre la belle-mère. »

Lecture English	1 Then Agrippa said to Paul, “You may now speak on your own behalf.” So Paul stretched out his hand and began his defense. 2 * “I count myself fortunate, King Agrippa, that I am to defend myself before you today against all the charges made against me by the Jews, 6 b But now I am standing trial because of my hope in the promise made by God to our ancestors. 7 Our twelve tribes hope to attain to that promise as they fervently worship God day and night; and on account of this hope I am accused by Jews, O king. 8 Why is it thought unbelievable among you that God raises the dead? 9 c I myself once thought that I had to do many things against the name of Jesus the Nazorean, 10 and I did so in Jerusalem. I imprisoned many of the holy ones with the authorization I received from the chief priests, and when they were to be put to death I cast my vote against them.d 12 “On one such occasion I was traveling to Damascus with the authorization and commission of the chief priests. 13 e At midday, along the way, O king, I saw a light from the sky, brighter than the sun, shining around me and my traveling companions.f 14 We all fell to the ground and I heard a voice saying to me in Hebrew, ‘Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting me?g It is hard for you to kick against the goad.’* 15 And I said, ‘Who are you, sir?’ And the Lord replied, ‘I am Jesus whom you are persecuting.h 16 Get up now, and stand on your feet.i I have appeared to you for this purpose, to appoint you as a servant and witness of what you have seen [of me] and what you will be shown.* 17 I shall deliver you from this people and from the Gentiles to whom I send you,j 18 to open their eyes* that they may turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God, so that they may obtain forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who have been consecrated by faith in me.’k 19 “And so, King Agrippa, I was not disobedient to the heavenly vision.
Evangile English	49 “I have come to set the earth on fire, and how I wish it were already blazing! 50 * There is a baptism with which I must be baptized, and how great is my anguish until it is accomplished!u 51 Do you think that I have come to establish peace on the earth?v No, I tell you, but rather division.w 52 From now on a household of five will be divided, three against two and two against three; 53 a father will be divided against his son and a son against his father, a mother against her daughter and a daughter against her mother, a mother-in-law against her daughter-in-law and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law.”x
