Lecture Arabic	12 أَكْتُبُ إِلَيْكُم، أَيُّهَا الأَبْنَاء، لأَنَّ خطايَاكُم غُفِرَتْ لَكُم مِنْ أَجْلِ اسْمِ الـمَسِيح. 13 أَكْتُبُ إِلَيْكُم، أَيُّهَا الآبَاء، لأَنَّكُم عَرَفْتُمُ الَّذي هُوَ مُنْذُ البَدْء. أَكْتُبُ إِلَيكُم، أَيُّهَا الشُّبَّان، لأَنَّكُم غَلَبْتُمُ الشِّرِّير. 14 كَتَبْتُ إِلَيكُم، أَيُّها الأَبْنَاء، لأَنَّكُم عَرَفْتُمُ الآب. كتَبْتُ إِلَيْكُم، أَيُّهَا الآبَاء، لأَنَّكُم عَرَفْتُمُ الَّذي هُوَ مُنْذُ البَدْء. كَتَبْتُ إِلَيكُم، أَيُّهَا الشُّبَّان، لأَنَّكُم أَقْوِيَاء، ولأَنَّ كَلِمَةَ اللهِ ثَابِتَةٌ فِيكُم، وقَدْ غَلَبْتُمُ الشِّرِّير. 15 لا تُحِبُّوا العَالَمَ ولا مَا في العَالَم. إِنْ كَانَ أَحَدٌ يُحِبُّ العَالَم، فلا تَكُونُ فِيهِ مَحَبَّةُ الآب؛ 16 لأَنَّ كُلَّ مَا في العَالَمِ مِن شَهْوَةِ الـجَسَد، وشَهْوَةِ العَين، وكِبْرِياءِ الغِنَى، لَيْسَ هُوَ مِنَ الآبِ بَلْ هُوَ مِنَ العَالَم. 17 فإِنَّ العَالَمَ وشَهْوَتَهُ يَزُولان، أَمَّا مَنْ يَعْمَلُ بِمَشِيئَةِ اللهِ فَيَثْبُتُ إِلى الأَبَد. 18 أَيُّهَا الأَبْنَاء، إِنَّهَا السَّاعَةُ الأَخِيرَة. لقَدْ سَمِعْتُم أَنَّ مَسِيحًا دَجَّالاً سَيَأْتِي، وقَدْ أَتَى الآنَ مُسَحَاءُ دَجَّالُونَ كَثِيرُون، فَمِنْ هـذَا نَعْرِفُ أَنَّهَا السَّاعَةُ الأَخِيرَة. 19 إِنَّهُم خَرَجُوا مِنْ بَيْنِنَا، لـكِنَّهُم مَا كَانُوا مِنَّا، فلَو كَانُوا مِنَّا، لَكَانُوا ثَبَتُوا مَعَنَا. لـكِنَّهُم خَرَجُوا لِيَتَبَيَّنَ أَنَّهُم جَمِيعَهُم لَيسُوا مِنَّا. 20 أَمَّا أَنْتُم فَلَكُم مَسْحَةٌ مِنَ القُدُّوس، وجَمِيعُكُم تَعْرِفُون ذـلِكَ.
Evangile Arabic	7 ولاحَظَ يَسُوعُ كَيْفَ كَانَ الـمَدْعُووُّنَ يَخْتَارُونَ الـمَقَاعِدَ الأُولى، فَقَالَ لَهُم هـذَا الـمَثَل: 8 "إِذَا دَعَاكَ أَحَدٌ إِلى وَلِيمَةِ عُرْس، فَلا تَجْلِسْ في الـمَقْعَدِ الأَوَّل، لَرُبَّما يَكُونُ قَدْ دَعَا مَنْ هُوَ أَعْظَمُ مِنْكَ قَدْرًا، 9 فَيَأْتي الَّذي دَعَاكَ وَدَعَاهُ وَيَقُولُ لَكَ: أَعْطِهِ مَكَانَكَ! فَحِينَئِذٍ تُضْطَرُّ خَجِلاً إِلى الـجُلُوسِ في آخِرِ مَقْعَد! 10 ولـكِنْ إِذَا دُعِيتَ فاذْهَبْ واجْلِسْ في آخِرِ مَقْعَد، حَتَّى إِذَا جَاءَ الَّذي دَعَاكَ يَقُولُ لَكَ: يا صَدِيقي، تَقَدَّمْ إِلى أَعْلَى! حِينَئِذٍ يَعْظُمُ شَأْنُكَ فِي عَيْنِ الـجَالِسِينَ مَعَكَ. 11 لأَنَّ كُلَّ مَنْ يَرْفَعُ نَفْسَهُ يُوَاضَع، وَمَنْ يُواضِعُ نَفْسَهُ يُرْفَع".

Lecture French	12 Je vous l’écris, petits enfants : Vos péchés vous sont remis à cause du nom de Jésus. 13 Je vous l’écris, parents : Vous connaissez celui qui existe depuis le commencement. Je vous l’écris, jeunes gens : Vous avez vaincu le Mauvais. 14 Je vous l’ai écrit, enfants : Vous connaissez le Père. Je vous l’ai écrit, parents : Vous connaissez celui qui existe depuis le commencement. Je vous l’ai écrit, jeunes gens : Vous êtes forts, la parole de Dieu demeure en vous, vous avez vaincu le Mauvais. 15 N’aimez pas le monde, ni ce qui est dans le monde. Si quelqu’un aime le monde, l’amour du Père n’est pas en lui. 16 Tout ce qu’il y a dans le monde – la convoitise de la chair, la convoitise des yeux, l’arrogance de la richesse –, tout cela ne vient pas du Père, mais du monde. 17 Or, le monde passe, et sa convoitise avec lui. Mais celui qui fait la volonté de Dieu demeure pour toujours. 18 Mes enfants, c’est la dernière heure et, comme vous l’avez appris, un anti-Christ, un adversaire du Christ, doit venir ; or, il y a dès maintenant beaucoup d’anti-Christs ; nous savons ainsi que c’est la dernière heure. 19 Ils sont sortis de chez nous mais ils n’étaient pas des nôtres ; s’ils avaient été des nôtres, ils seraient demeurés avec nous. Mais pas un d’entre eux n’est des nôtres, et cela devait être manifesté. 20 Quant à vous, c’est de celui qui est saint que vous tenez l’onction, et vous avez tous la connaissance.
Evangile French	07 Jésus dit une parabole aux invités lorsqu’il remarqua comment ils choisissaient les premières places, et il leur dit : 08 « Quand quelqu’un t’invite à des noces, ne va pas t’installer à la première place, de peur qu’il ait invité un autre plus considéré que toi. 09 Alors, celui qui vous a invités, toi et lui, viendra te dire : “Cède-lui ta place” ; et, à ce moment, tu iras, plein de honte, prendre la dernière place. 10 Au contraire, quand tu es invité, va te mettre à la dernière place. Alors, quand viendra celui qui t’a invité, il te dira : “Mon ami, avance plus haut”, et ce sera pour toi un honneur aux yeux de tous ceux qui seront à la table avec toi. 11 En effet, quiconque s’élève sera abaissé ; et qui s’abaisse sera élevé. »

I am writing to you, young men, because you have conquered the evil one.k 14 I write to you, children, because you know the Father. I write to you, fathers, because you know him who is from the beginning. I write to you, young men, because you are strong and the word of God remains in you, and you have conquered the evil one. 15 Do not love the world or the things of the world.* If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.l 16 For all that is in the world, sensual lust,* enticement for the eyes, and a pretentious life, is not from the Father but is from the world. 17 Yet the world and its enticement are passing away. But whoever does the will of God remains forever.m Antichrists. 18 Children, it is the last hour;* and just as you heard that the antichrist was coming, so now many antichrists have appeared. Thus we know this is the last hour.n 19 They went out from us, but they were not really of our number;* if they had been, they would have remained with us. Their desertion shows that none of them was of our number. 20 But you have the anointing that comes from the holy one,* and you all have knowledge.o
Evangile English	7 f He told a parable to those who had been invited, noticing how they were choosing the places of honor at the table. 8 g “When you are invited by someone to a wedding banquet, do not recline at table in the place of honor. A more distinguished guest than you may have been invited by him, 9 and the host who invited both of you may approach you and say, ‘Give your place to this man,’ and then you would proceed with embarrassment to take the lowest place. 10 Rather, when you are invited, go and take the lowest place so that when the host comes to you he may say, ‘My friend, move up to a higher position.’ Then you will enjoy the esteem of your companions at the table. 11 For everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, but the one who humbles himself will be exalted.”h
