Lecture Arabic	6 أَمَّا نَحْنُ فأَبْحَرْنَا مِنْ فِيلِبِّي، بَعْدَ أَيَّامِ الفَطِير، ولَحِقْنَا بِهِم في تُرْوَاس، وَمَكَثْنَا هُنَاكَ سَبْعَةَ أَيَّام. 7 وفي يَوْمِ الأَحَد، اجْتَمَعْنَا لِكَسْرِ الـخُبْز، فأَخَذَ بُولُسُ يُحَدِّثُهُم، وقَدْ عَزَمَ عَلى الرَّحيلِ في الغَد، وأَطَالَ الـحَديثَ حتَّى مُنْتَصَفِ اللَّيْل. 8 وكانَ في العِلِّيَّةِ الَّتِي اجْتَمَعْنَا فيها مَصَابيحُ كَثيرَة. 9 وكانَ شابٌّ اسْمُهُ إِفْطِيخُس، جَالِسًا علَى النَّافِذَة، وأَخَذَهُ نُعَاسٌ ثَقيل، بَيْنَمَا كانَ بولُسُ يَسْتَفيضُ في الـحَدِيث، حتَّى غَلَبَ عَلَيْهِ النَّوْم، فَوَقَعَ مِنَ الطَّبَقَةِ الثَّالِثَةِ إِلى الأَسْفَل، وحُمِلَ مَيْتًا 10 فنَزَلَ بُولُسُ وارْتَمَى علَيْه، وضَمَّهُ بَيْنَ ذِرَاعَيْهِ وقَال: "لا تَضْطَرِبُوا، فَنَفْسُهُ فِيه!". 11 ثُمَّ صَعِدَ فَكَسَرَ الـخُبْزَ وأَكَل. وحَدَّثَهُم طَويلاً حَتَّى الفَجْر، ومَضَى. 12 وجَاؤُوا بِالفَتَى حَيًّا، فَكانَ لَهُم عَزَاءٌ كَبير. 13 أَمَّا نَحْنُ فَسَبَقْنَا بُولُس، وَرَكِبْنا السَّفينَة، وأَقْلَعْنا إِلى أَسُّس، لِنَأْخُذَ بُولُسَ مَعَنَا مِنْ هُنَاك، كمَا كانَ قَدْ رَتَّب، وهُوَ عَازِمٌ أَنْ يُوافِيَنَا سَيْرًا عَلى الأَقْدَام. 14 ولَمَّا لَحِقَ بِنَا في أَسُّس، أَصْعَدْنَاهُ معَنَا إِلى السَّفينَةِ وَجِئْنَا إِلى ميتِيلانَة. 15 ومِنْهَا أَبْحَرْنَا في الغَدِ وأَشْرَفْنَا عَلى جَزِيرَةِ خِيُوس. وفي اليَوْمِ التَّالي سِرْنَا بِمُحَاذَاةِ جَزِيرَةِ سَامُوس، وفي اليَوْمِ الثَّالِث، بَعْدَ تَوَقُّفٍ في ترُوغِيلِّيُون، وَصَلْنَا إِلى مِيلِيتُس. 16 وكانَ بُولُسُ قَدْ صَمَّمَ أَنْ يتَجَاوَزَ أَفَسُسَ بَحْرًا، لِئَلاَّ يُضْطَرَّ أَنْ يتَأَخَّرَ في آسِيَا، لَعَلَّهُ يَصِلُ إِلى أُورَشَلِيمَ يَوْمَ العَنْصَرَة.
Evangile Arabic	6 أَلا تُبَاعُ خَمْسَةُ عَصَافِيرَ بِفَلْسَين، ووَاحِدٌ مِنْهَا لا يُنْسَى أَمَامَ الله؟ 7 إِنَّ شَعْرَ رَأْسِكُم كُلَّهُ مَعْدُود، فَلا تَخَافُوا! إِنَّكُم أَفْضَلُ مِنْ عَصَافِيرَ كَثِيرَة. 8 وَأَقُولُ لَكُم: كُلُّ مَنِ اعْتَرَفَ بِي أَمَامَ النَّاس، يَعْتَرِفُ بِهِ ابْنُ الإِنْسانِ أَمَامَ مَلائِكَةِ الله. 9 وَمَنْ أَنْكَرَني أَمَامَ النَّاس، يُنْكَرُ أَمَامَ مَلائِكَةِ الله.

Lecture French	06 Quant à nous, après la Pâque, nous avons embarqué à Philippes ; et, au bout de cinq jours, nous les avons rejoints à Troas, où nous avons passé sept jours. 07 Le premier jour de la semaine, nous étions rassemblés pour rompre le pain, et Paul, qui devait partir le lendemain, s’entretenait avec ceux qui étaient là. Il continua de parler jusqu’au milieu de la nuit, 08 car, dans la salle du haut où nous étions rassemblés, il y avait suffisamment de lampes. 09 Un jeune garçon nommé Eutyque, assis sur le rebord de la fenêtre, fut gagné par un profond sommeil tandis que Paul prolongeait l’entretien ; pris par le sommeil, il tomba du troisième étage et, quand on le souleva, il était mort. 10 Paul descendit, se précipita sur lui et le prit dans ses bras en disant : « Ne vous agitez pas ainsi : le souffle de vie est en lui ! » 11 Il remonta, rompit le pain et mangea ; puis il conversa avec eux assez longtemps, jusqu’à l’aube ; ensuite il s’en alla. 12 Quant au garçon, on l’emmena bien vivant, et ce fut un immense réconfort. 13 Pour nous, ayant pris les devants par bateau, nous avons gagné le large pour Assos, où nous devions reprendre Paul ; celui-ci, en effet, devait y aller par la route : ainsi en avait-il disposé. 14 Lorsqu’il nous a rejoints à Assos, nous l’avons repris pour aller à Mitylène. 15 Nous avons embarqué le lendemain et, de là, nous sommes parvenus en face de Khios ; le jour suivant, nous avons fait la traversée jusqu’à Samos, et le jour d’après nous sommes allés jusqu’à Milet. 16 En effet, Paul avait pris la décision de passer au large d’Éphèse pour ne pas avoir à rester trop longtemps dans la province d’Asie, car il se hâtait pour être, si possible, à Jérusalem le jour de la Pentecôte.
Evangile French	06 Est-ce que l’on ne vend pas cinq moineaux pour deux sous ? Or pas un seul n’est oublié au regard de Dieu. 07 À plus forte raison les cheveux de votre tête sont tous comptés. Soyez sans crainte : vous valez plus qu’une multitude de moineaux. 08 Je vous le dis : Quiconque se sera déclaré pour moi devant les hommes, le Fils de l’homme aussi se déclarera pour lui devant les anges de Dieu. 09 Mais celui qui m’aura renié en face des hommes sera renié à son tour en face des anges de Dieu.

Lecture English	6 We sailed from Philippi after the feast of Unleavened Bread,* and rejoined them five days later in Troas, where we spent a week. Eutychus Restored to Life. 7 On the first day of the week* when we gathered to break bread, Paul spoke to them because he was going to leave on the next day, and he kept on speaking until midnight. 8 There were many lamps in the upstairs room where we were gathered, 9 and a young man named Eutychus who was sitting on the window sill was sinking into a deep sleep as Paul talked on and on. Once overcome by sleep, he fell down from the third story and when he was picked up, he was dead. 10 d Paul went down,* threw himself upon him, and said as he embraced him, “Don’t be alarmed; there is life in him.” 11 Then he returned upstairs, broke the bread, and ate; after a long conversation that lasted until daybreak, he departed. 12 And they took the boy away alive and were immeasurably comforted. Journey to Miletus. 13 We went ahead to the ship and set sail for Assos where we were to take Paul on board, as he had arranged, since he was going overland. 14 When he met us in Assos, we took him aboard and went on to Mitylene. 15 We sailed away from there on the next day and reached a point off Chios, and a day later we reached Samos, and on the following day we arrived at Miletus. 16 * Paul had decided to sail past Ephesus in order not to lose time in the province of Asia, for he was hurrying to be in Jerusalem, if at all possible, for the day of Pentecost.
