Lecture Arabic	1 وبَعْدمَا انْسَلَخْنَا عَنْهُم، أَقْلَعْنَا وَسِرْنَا سَيْرًا مُسْتَقيمًا إِلى جَزِيرَةِ كُوش، وفي الغَدِ إِلى جَزِيرَةِ رُودُس، ومِنْهَا إِلى بَاتَرَة. 2 ووَجَدْنَا سَفينَةً عَابِرَةً إِلى فِينِيقِيَة، فَصَعِدْنَا إِلَيْهَا وأَقْلَعْنَا. 3 ولَمَّا ظَهَرَتْ لَنَا قُبْرُس، تَرَكْنَاهَا عَنْ يَسَارِنَا، وتَابَعْنَا بِاتِّجَاهِ سُورِيَّا، وَنَزَلْنَا في صُور، حَيْثُ كَانَ عَلى السَّفينَةِ أَنْ تُفْرِغَ حُمُولَتَهَا. 4 وَوجَدْنَا التَّلامِيذَ هُنَاك، فَأَقَمْنَا عِنْدَهُم سَبْعَةَ أَيَّام. وكَانُوا يَقُولُونَ لِبُولُس، بِوَحْيٍ مِنَ الرُّوح، أَلاَّ يَصْعَدَ إِلى أَورَشَليم. 5 ولَمَّا قَضَيْنَا تِلْكَ الأَيَّام، خَرَجْنَا، وَسِرْنَا، وكَانَ التَّلامِيذُ كُلُّهُم مَعَ النِّساءِ والأَولادِ يُشَيِّعُونَنَا إِلى خَارِجِ الـمَدِينَة. فَجَثَوْنَا عَلى الشَّاطِئِ وَصَلَّيْنَا. 6 ثُمَّ وَدَّعْنَا بَعْضُنَا بَعْضًا، فرَكِبْنَا نَحْنُ السَّفينَة، وعَادُوا هُم إِلى بُيُوتِهِم. 7 وَمِنْ صُورَ وَصَلْنَا في نِهَايَةِ الرِّحْلَةِ إِلى بُتُولِمَايِس (أَي عَكَّا)، فَسَلَّمْنَا عَلى الإِخْوَة، وَأَقَمْنَا عِنْدَهُم يَوْمًا واحِدًا. 8 وفي الغَد، خَرَجْنَا فَذَهَبْنَا إِلى قَيْصَرِيَّة، وَدَخَلْنَا بَيْتَ الـمُبَشِّرِ فِيلِبُّس، أَحَدِ السَّبْعَة، وأَقَمْنَا عِنْدَهُ. 9 وكانَ لهُ أَرْبَعُ بَنَاتٍ عَذَارَى يتَنَبَّأْنَ. 10 وأَقَمْنَا عِنْدَهُ عِدَّةَ أَيَّام، فنَزَلَ مِنَ اليَهُودِيَّةِ نَبِيٌّ اسْمُهُ أَغَابُوس. 11 وجَاءَ إِلَيْنَا، فَنَزَعَ حِزَامَ بُولُس، وقَيَّدَ بِهِ يَدَيْهِ وَرِجْلَيْه، وقَال: "هـذَا مَا يَقُولُهُ الرُّوحُ القُدُس: إِنَّ صَاحِبَ هـذَا الـحِزَامِ سيُقَيِّدُهُ اليَهُودُ هـكَذَا في أُورَشَليم، ويُسْلِمُونَهَ إِلى أَيْدِي الوَثَنِيِّين". 12 ولَمَّا سَمِعْنَا ذـلِكَ، أَخَذْنَا نتَوَسَّلُ إِلَيهِ نَحْنُ وَالإِخْوَةُ في قَيْصَرِيَّة، أَلاَّ يَصْعَدَ إِلى أُورَشَليم. 13 حِينَئِذٍ أَجَابَ بُولُس: "مَا بَالُكُم تَبْكُون، وتَحَطِّمُونَ قَلْبي؟ فأَنَأ مُسْتَعِدٌّ لا لِلقُيُودِ فَحَسْب، بَلْ لِلمَوْتِ في أُورَشَليمَ في سَبيلِ اسْمِ الرَّبِّ يَسُوع". 14 ولَمَّا لَمْ يَقْتَنِعْ سَكَتْنَا، وقُلْنَا: "لِتَكُنْ مَشيئَةُ الرَّبّ!".
Evangile Arabic	13 أَلوَيلُ لَكُم، أَيُّها الكَتَبَةُ والفَرِّيسِيُّونَ الـمُراؤُون! لأَنَّكُم تُغْلِقُونَ مَلَكُوتَ السَّمَاواتِ في وَجْهِ النَّاس، فلا أَنْتُم تَدْخُلُون، ولا تَدَعُونَ الدَّاخِلينَ يَدْخُلُون. 14 ... 15 أَلوَيلُ لَكُم، أَيُّهَا الكَتَبَةُ والفَرِّيسِيُّونَ الـمُراؤُون! لأَنَّكُم تَطُوفُونَ البَحْرَ والبَرّ، لِتُحَوِّلُوا وثَنِيًّا وَاحِدًا إِلى دِيَانَتِكُم، ومَتَى صَارَ يَهُودِيًّا، تُحَوِّلُونَهُ ابْنَ جَهَنَّم، ضِعْفَ مَا أَنْتُم عَلَيْه.

Lecture French	01 Alors, après nous être séparés d’eux, nous avons gagné le large et filé droit sur Cos, le lendemain sur Rhodes, et de là sur Patara. 02 Puis, ayant trouvé un bateau qui faisait la traversée vers la Phénicie, nous sommes montés à bord et nous avons gagné le large. 03 Arrivés en vue de Chypre, nous avons laissé l’île sur notre gauche ; nous avons navigué vers la Syrie et nous avons débarqué à Tyr : c’est là, en effet, que le bateau déchargeait sa cargaison. 04 Ayant trouvé les disciples, nous sommes restés sept jours avec eux ; ceux-ci, poussés par l’Esprit, disaient à Paul de ne pas monter à Jérusalem. 05 Mais quand notre séjour a été achevé, nous sommes partis et nous avons repris la route, accompagnés jusqu’en dehors de la ville par tous, y compris les femmes et les enfants. À genoux sur le rivage, nous avons prié ; 06 après nous être dit adieu les uns aux autres, nous avons embarqué à nouveau sur le bateau, tandis qu’ils retournaient chez eux. 07 Quant à nous, achevant notre traversée, de Tyr nous sommes arrivés à Ptolémaïs ; ayant salué les frères, nous avons passé une journée chez eux. 08 Partis le lendemain, nous sommes allés à Césarée, nous sommes entrés dans la maison de Philippe, l’évangélisateur, qui était l’un des Sept, et nous sommes restés chez lui. 09 Il avait quatre filles non mariées, qui prophétisaient. 10 Comme nous restions là plusieurs jours, un prophète nommé Agabos descendit de Judée. 11 Il vint vers nous, enleva la ceinture de Paul, se ligota les pieds et les mains, et déclara : « Voici ce que dit l’Esprit Saint : L’homme à qui appartient cette ceinture, les Juifs le ligoteront de la sorte à Jérusalem et le livreront aux mains des nations. » 12 Quand nous avons entendu cela, nous et les frères qui habitaient là, nous l’exhortions à ne pas monter à Jérusalem. 13 Alors Paul répondit : « Que faites-vous là à pleurer et à me briser le cœur ? Moi je suis prêt, non seulement à me laisser ligoter, mais encore à mourir à Jérusalem pour le nom du Seigneur Jésus. » 14 N’ayant pu le persuader, nous n’avons pas insisté, et nous avons dit : « Que la volonté du Seigneur soit faite. »
Evangile French	13 Malheureux êtes-vous, scribes et pharisiens hypocrites, parce que vous fermez à clé le royaume des Cieux devant les hommes ; vous-mêmes, en effet, n’y entrez pas, et vous ne laissez pas entrer ceux qui veulent entrer ! 15 Malheureux êtes-vous, scribes et pharisiens hypocrites, parce que vous parcourez la mer et la terre pour faire un seul converti, et quand c’est arrivé, vous faites de lui un homme voué à la géhenne, deux fois pire que vous !

Lecture English	1 * When we had taken leave of them we set sail, made a straight run for Cos, and on the next day for Rhodes, and from there to Patara. 2 Finding a ship crossing to Phoenicia, we went on board and put out to sea. 3 We caught sight of Cyprus but passed by it on our left and sailed on toward Syria and put in at Tyre where the ship was to unload cargo. 4 There we sought out the disciples and stayed for a week. They kept telling Paul through the Spirit not to embark for Jerusalem. 5 At the end of our stay we left and resumed our journey. All of them, women and children included, escorted us out of the city, and after kneeling on the beach to pray, 6 we bade farewell to one another. Then we boarded the ship, and they returned home. Arrival at Ptolemais and Caesarea. 7 We continued the voyage and came from Tyre to Ptolemais, where we greeted the brothers and stayed a day with them. 8 On the next day we resumed the trip and came to Caesarea, where we went to the house of Philip the evangelist, who was one of the Seven,* and stayed with him.a 9 He had four virgin daughters gifted with prophecy. 10 We had been there several days when a prophet named Agabus* came down from Judea. 11 b He came up to us, took Paul’s belt, bound his own feet and hands with it, and said, “Thus says the holy Spirit: This is the way the Jews will bind the owner of this belt in Jerusalem, and they will hand him over to the Gentiles.”* 12 When we heard this, we and the local residents begged him not to go up to Jerusalem. 13 Then Paul replied, “What are you doing, weeping and breaking my heart? I am prepared not only to be bound but even to die in Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus.” 14 c Since he would not be dissuaded we let the matter rest, saying,d “The Lord’s will be done.”*
