Lecture Arabic	13 هَلْ فيكُم مَنْ يُعانِي مَشَقَّة؟ فَليُصَلِّ! أَو مَسْرٌورٌ؟ فَلْيُرَنِّمْ! 14 وهَلْ فيكُم أَحَدٌ مرِيض؟ فَلْيَدْعُ كَهَنَةَ الكَنِيسَة، وَلْيُصَلُّوا عَلَيْه، ويَمْسَحُوهُ بِالزَّيتِ بِاسْمِ الرَّبّ! 15 فَصَلاةُ الإِيْمَانِ تَشْفِي الـمَرِيض، والرَّبُّ يُقِيمُهُ، وإِنْ كانَ قَدِ اقْتَرَفَ خَطايَا، فَتُغْفَرُ لهُ. 16 إِذًا فَاعْتَرِفُوا بَعْضُكُم لِبَعْضٍ بـخَطَايَاكُم. وصَلُّوا بَعضُكُم مِن أَجْلِ بَعْضٍ لِكَي تَنالُوا الشِّفاء؛ لأَنَّ صَلاةَ البَارِّ الـحَارَّةَ لَهَا قُوَّةٌ عَظِيمَة. 17 كانَ إِيلِيَّا بَشَرًا مِثْلَنَا، فصَلَّى بِحَرَارَةٍ حَتَّى لا يَنْزِلَ الْمَطَر، فلَمْ يَنْزِلِ الْمَطَرُ عَلى الأَرْضِ ثَلاثَ سِنِينَ وسِتَّةَ أَشْهُر. 18 ثُمَّ صلَّى مِنْ جَدِيد، فَأَمْطَرَتِ السَّمَاء، وأَخَرَجَتِ الأَرْضُ ثَمَرَهَا. 19 يا إِخْوَتِي، إِنْ ضَلَّ أَحَدٌ بَيْنَكُم عنِ الـحَقِّ، ورَدَّهُ أَحدٌ عَنْ ضَلالِهِ، 20 فَاعْرِفُوا أَنَّ الَّذي ردَّ خَاطِئًا عَن طَرِيقِهِ الضَّالّ، يُخَلِّصُهُ مِنَ الْمَوت، ويَسْتُرُ جَمًّا مِن الـخَطايَا.
Evangile Arabic	41 ولَمَّا اقْتَرَب، رَأَى الـمَدِينَةَ فَبَكَى عَلَيْهَا، 42 قَائِلاً: "لَيْتَكِ عَرَفْتِ أَنْتِ أَيْضًا، في يَومِكِ هـذَا، مَا يَؤُولُ بِكِ إِلى السَّلام! ولـكِنَّهُ حُجِبَ الآنَ عَنْ عَيْنَيْكِ! 43 فَإِنَّهَا سَتَأْتي عَلَيْكِ أيَّامٌ يُحَاصِرُكِ فِيهَا أَعْداؤُكِ بِالـمَتَارِيس، وَيُحِيطُونَ بِكِ، وَيُضَيِّقُونَ عَلَيْكِ مِنْ كُلِّ جِهَة، 44 وَيَسْحَقُونَكِ، وَيَسْحَقُونَ أَوْلادَكِ فِيكِ، وَلا يَتْرُكُونَ فِيكِ حَجَرًا عَلى حَجَر، لأَنَّكِ مَا عَرَفْتِ وَقْتَ افْتِقَادِ اللهِ لَكِ!".

Lecture French	13 L’un de vous se porte mal ? Qu’il prie. Un autre va bien ? Qu’il chante le Seigneur. 14 L’un de vous est malade ? Qu’il appelle les Anciens en fonction dans l’Église : ils prieront sur lui après lui avoir fait une onction d’huile au nom du Seigneur. 15 Cette prière inspirée par la foi sauvera le malade : le Seigneur le relèvera et, s’il a commis des péchés, il recevra le pardon. 16 Confessez donc vos péchés les uns aux autres, et priez les uns pour les autres afin d’être guéris. La supplication du juste agit avec beaucoup de force. 17 Le prophète Élie n’était qu’un homme pareil à nous ; pourtant, lorsqu’il a prié avec insistance pour qu’il ne pleuve pas, il n’est pas tombé de pluie sur la terre pendant trois ans et demi ; 18 puis il a prié de nouveau, et le ciel a donné la pluie, et la terre a fait germer son fruit. 19 Mes frères, si l’un de vous s’égare loin de la vérité et qu’un autre l’y ramène, 20 alors, sachez-le : celui qui ramène un pécheur du chemin où il s’égarait sauvera son âme de la mort et couvrira une multitude de péchés.
Evangile French	41 Lorsque Jésus fut près de Jérusalem, voyant la ville, il pleura sur elle, en disant : 42 « Ah ! si toi aussi, tu avais reconnu en ce jour ce qui donne la paix ! Mais maintenant cela est resté caché à tes yeux. 43 Oui, viendront pour toi des jours où tes ennemis construiront des ouvrages de siège contre toi, t’encercleront et te presseront de tous côtés ; 44 ils t’anéantiront, toi et tes enfants qui sont chez toi, et ils ne laisseront pas chez toi pierre sur pierre, parce que tu n’as pas reconnu le moment où Dieu te visitait. »

Lecture English	7 * Be patient, therefore, brothers, until the coming of the Lord. See how the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, being patient with it until it receives the early and the late rains.* 8 You too must be patient. Make your hearts firm, because the coming of the Lord is at hand.g 9 Do not complain, brothers, about one another, that you may not be judged. Behold, the Judge is standing before the gates. 10 Take as an example of hardship and patience, brothers, the prophets who spoke in the name of the Lord. 11 Indeed we call blessed those who have persevered. You have heard of the perseverance of Job, and you have seen the purpose of the Lord, because “the Lord is compassionate and merciful.”h 12 i But above all, my brothers, do not swear, either by heaven or by earth or with any other oath, but let your “Yes” mean “Yes” and your “No” mean “No,” that you may not incur condemnation.*
Evangile English	41 o As he drew near, he saw the city and wept over it,p 42 saying, “If this day you only knew what makes for peace—but now it is hidden from your eyes.q 43 * For the days are coming upon you when your enemies will raise a palisade against you; they will encircle you and hem you in on all sides.r 44 They will smash you to the ground and your children within you, and they will not leave one stone upon another within you because you did not recognize the time of your visitation.”s
