Lecture Arabic	9 أَنَا يُوحَنَّا أَخَاكُم وَشَرِيكَكُم في الضِّيقِ والـمَلَكُوتِ والثَّبَاتِ في يَسُوع، كُنْتُ في الـجَزِيرَةِ الـمَدْعُوَّةِ بَطْمُس، مِنْ أَجْلِ كَلِمَةِ اللهِ وَشَهادَةِ يَسُوع. 10 فَانْتَقَلْتُ بِالرُّوحِ يَومَ الرَّبّ، وَسَمِعْتُ وَرَائي صَوْتًا عَظِيمًا كَصَوْتِ بُوقٍ 11 يَقُول: "ما تَرَاهُ اكْتُبْ فيهِ كِتَابًا، وَأَرْسِلْهُ إِلى الكَنَائِسِ السَّبْع: إِلى أَفَسُس، وإِلى إِزْمِير، وإِلى بِرْغَامُس، وإِلى طِيَاطِيرَة، وإِلى سَرْدِيس، وإِلى فِيلادِلْفيَة، وإِلى لَوْدِقِيَّة". 12 فَالْتَفَتُّ لأَنْظُرَ الصَّوتَ الَّذي كانَ يُكَلِّمُنِي، وإِذِ الـْتَفَتُّ، رَأَيْتُ سَبْعَ مَنَائِرَ مِنْ ذَهَب، 13 وفي وَسَطِ الـمَنَائِرِ شِبْهَ ابْنِ إِنْسَانٍ لابِسٍ ثَوْبًا طَوِيلاً إِلى قَدَمَيْهِ، وَمُتَمَنْطِقٍ عِنْدَ صَدْرِهِ بِحِزَامٍ مِنْ ذَهَب. 14 أَمَّا رَأْسُهُ وشَعْرُهُ فَأَبْيَضُ كَالصُّوفِ الأَبْيَض، كالثَّلْج، وَعَيناهُ كَلَهِيبِ نَار، 15 وَرِجْلاهُ أَشْبَهُ بِنُحَاسٍ خَالِصٍ كَأَنَّهُ صُفِّيَ في أَتُّون، وصَوتُهُ كَصَوتِ مِيَاهٍ غَزِيرَة. 16 وفي يَدِهِ اليُمْنَى سَبْعَـةُ كَوَاكِب، ومِنْ فَمِهِ يَخْرُجُ سَيْفٌ مَاضٍ ذُو حَدَّين، ووَجْهُهُ كالشَّمْسِ وهِيَ تَسْطَعُ في أَشَدِّ وَهْجِهَا. 17 فلمَّا رَأَيْتُهُ، سَقَطْتُ عِنْدَ رِجْـلَيهِ كالـمَيْت، فَوَضَعَ يَدَهُ اليُمْنَى عَليَّ قَائِلاً: "لا تَخَفْ! أَنَا هُوَ الأَوَّلُ والآخِر؛ 18 أَنا الـحَيّ، وقَدْ أَمْسَيْتُ مَيْتًا، وهَا إِنِّي حَيٌّ إِلى أَبَدِ الآبِدِين. وَلي مَفَاتِيحُ الـمَوتِ والـجَحِيم. 19 فَاكْتُب إِذًا مَا رأَيْتَ، وَمَا هُوَ الآن، ومَا هُوَ مُزْمِعٌ أَنْ يَحْدُثَ بَعْدَ ذـلِكَ. 20 وهـذا هُوَ سِرُّ الكَوَاكِبِ السَّبْعَة، الَّتي رأَيْتَها في يَدِي اليُمْنَى، والـمَنَائِرِ السَّبْعِ الذَّهَبِيَّة: فَالكَواكِبُ السَّبْعَةُ هِيَ مَلائِكَةُ الكَنَائِسِ السَّبْع، والـمَنَائِرُ السَّبْعُ هِيَ الكَنَائِسُ السَّبْع.
Evangile Arabic	33 ووَصَلَ يَسُوعُ وتَلامِيذُهُ إِلى كَفَرْنَاحُوم، ولَمَّا دَخَلَ البَيْتَ سَأَلَهُم: "بِمَ كُنْتُم تَتَجَادَلُونَ في الطَّريق؟". 34 فَظَلُّوا صَامِتين، لأَنَّهُم تَجَادَلُوا في الطَّريقِ في مَنْ هُوَ الأَعْظَم. 35 فجَلَسَ يَسُوع، ودَعَا الاثْنَي عَشَر، وقَالَ لَهُم: "إِنْ أَرَادَ أَحَدٌ أَنْ يَكُونَ الأَوَّل، فَلْيَكُنْ آخِرَ الـجَمِيعِ وخَادِمَ الـجَمِيع". 36 ثُمَّ أَخَذَ طِفْلاً وأَقَامَهُ في وَسَطِهِم، وضَمَّهُ بِذِرَاعَيْه، وقَالَ لَهُم: 37 "مَنْ قَبِلَ باسْمِي وَاحِدًا مِنْ أَمْثَالِ هـؤُلاءِ الأَطْفَال، فَهُوَ يَقْبَلُنِي. ومَنْ يَقْبَلُنِي فلا يَقْبَلُنِي أَنَا بَلِ الَّذي أَرْسَلَنِي".

Lecture French	09 Moi, Jean, votre frère, partageant avec vous la détresse, la royauté et la persévérance en Jésus, je me trouvai dans l’île de Patmos à cause de la parole de Dieu et du témoignage de Jésus. 10 Je fus saisi en esprit, le jour du Seigneur, et j’entendis derrière moi une voix forte, pareille au son d’une trompette. 11 Elle disait : « Ce que tu vois, écris-le dans un livre et envoie-le aux sept Églises : à Éphèse, Smyrne, Pergame, Thyatire, Sardes, Philadelphie et Laodicée. » 12 Je me retournai pour regarder quelle était cette voix qui me parlait. M’étant retourné, j’ai vu sept chandeliers d’or, 13 et au milieu des chandeliers un être qui semblait un Fils d’homme, revêtu d’une longue tunique, une ceinture d’or à hauteur de poitrine ; 14 sa tête et ses cheveux étaient blancs comme la laine blanche, comme la neige, et ses yeux comme une flamme ardente ; 15 ses pieds semblaient d’un bronze précieux affiné au creuset, et sa voix était comme la voix des grandes eaux ; 16 il avait dans la main droite sept étoiles ; de sa bouche sortait un glaive acéré à deux tranchants. Son visage brillait comme brille le soleil dans sa puissance. 17 Quand je le vis, je tombai à ses pieds comme mort, mais il posa sur moi sa main droite, en disant : « Ne crains pas. Moi, je suis le Premier et le Dernier, 18 le Vivant : j’étais mort, et me voilà vivant pour les siècles des siècles ; je détiens les clés de la mort et du séjour des morts. 19 Écris donc ce que tu as vu, ce qui est, ce qui va ensuite advenir. 20 Quant au mystère des sept étoiles que tu as vues sur ma main droite, et celui des sept chandeliers d’or : les sept étoiles sont les anges des sept Églises, et les sept chandeliers sont les sept Églises. »
Evangile French	33 Ils arrivèrent à Capharnaüm, et, une fois à la maison, Jésus leur demanda : « De quoi discutiez-vous en chemin ? » 34 Ils se taisaient, car, en chemin, ils avaient discuté entre eux pour savoir qui était le plus grand. 35 S’étant assis, Jésus appela les Douze et leur dit : « Si quelqu’un veut être le premier, qu’il soit le dernier de tous et le serviteur de tous. » 36 Prenant alors un enfant, il le plaça au milieu d’eux, l’embrassa, et leur dit : 37 « Quiconque accueille en mon nom un enfant comme celui-ci, c’est moi qu’il accueille. Et celui qui m’accueille, ce n’est pas moi qu’il accueille, mais Celui qui m’a envoyé. »

Lecture English	9 I, John, your brother, who share with you the distress, the kingdom, and the endurance we have in Jesus, found myself on the island called Patmos* because I proclaimed God’s word and gave testimony to Jesus. 10 I was caught up in spirit on the Lord’s day* and heard behind me a voice as loud as a trumpet, 11 which said, “Write on a scroll* what you see and send it to the seven churches: to Ephesus, Smyrna, Pergamum, Thyatira, Sardis, Philadelphia, and Laodicea.” 12 * Then I turned to see whose voice it was that spoke to me, and when I turned, I saw seven gold lampstands 13 and in the midst of the lampstands one like a son of man,* wearing an ankle-length robe, with a gold sash around his chest.h 14 The hair of his head was as white as white wool or as snow,* and his eyes were like a fiery flame. 15 His feet were like polished brass refined in a furnace,* and his voice was like the sound of rushing water. 16 In his right hand he held seven stars.* A sharp two-edged sword came out of his mouth, and his face shone like the sun at its brightest.i 17 When I caught sight of him, I fell down at his feet as though dead.* He touched me with his right hand and said, “Do not be afraid. I am the first and the last,j 18 the one who lives. Once I was dead, but now I am alive forever and ever. I hold the keys to death and the netherworld.* 19 Write down, therefore, what you have seen, and what is happening, and what will happen afterwards.* 20 This is the secret meaning* of the seven stars you saw in my right hand, and of the seven gold lampstands: the seven stars are the angels of the seven churches, and the seven lampstands are the seven churches.

They had been discussing among themselves on the way who was the greatest. 35 Then he sat down, called the Twelve, and said to them, “If anyone wishes to be first, he shall be the last of all and the servant of all.”j 36 Taking a child he placed it in their midst, and putting his arms around it he said to them, 37 “Whoever receives one child such as this in my name, receives me; and whoever receives me, receives not me but the One who sent me.”k
