Lecture Arabic	8 واكْتُبْ إِلى مَلاكِ الكَنِيسَةِ الَّتِي في إِزْمِير: هـذَا مَا يَقُولُهُ الأَوَّلُ والآخِر، ذَاكَ الَّذي أَمْسَى مَيْتًا ثُمَّ عَادَ حَيًّا: 9 إِنِّي عالـِمٌ بِمَا أَنْتَ عَلَيْهِ من ضِيقٍ وفَقْرٍ مَعَ أَنَّكَ غَنِيّ، وَعَالِمٌ أَيضًا بِتَجْدِيفِ الَّذِينَ يَزْعَمُونَ أَنَّهُم يَهُود، وَهُم لَيْسُوا بِيَهُود، بَلْ هُمْ مَجْمَعٌ لِلشَّيْطَان. 10 فلا تَخَفِ البَتَّةَ مِمَّا سَتُعَاني مِنْ آلام. هَا إِنَّ إِبْلِيسَ مُزْمِعٌ أَنْ يُلْقِيَ بَعْضًا مِنْكُم في السِّجْن، لِيُجَرِّبَكُم، فَتُعَانُونَ الضِّيقَ عَشَرَةَ أَيَّام. فَكُنْ أَمِينًا حَتَّى الْمَوت، وأَنا أُعْطِيكَ إِكْلِيلَ الـحَياة. 11 مَنْ لَهُ أُذُنَانِ فَلْيَسْمَعْ، ما يَقُولُهُ الرُّوحُ لِلكَنَائِس: أَلظَّافِرُ لَنْ يُؤْذِيَهُ الْمَوتُ الثَّاني.
Evangile Arabic	17 وخَرَجَ إِلى الطَّريق، فَأَسْرَعَ إِلَيْهِ رَجُلٌ وجَثَا أَمَامَهُ وسَأَلَهُ: "أَيُّها الـمُعَلِّمُ الصَّالِح، مَاذَا أَعْمَلُ لأَرِثَ الـحَيَاةَ الأَبَدِيَّة؟". 18 فقَالَ لَهُ يَسُوع: "لِمَاذَا تَدْعُونِي صَالِحًا؟ لا أَحَدَ صَالِحٌ إِلاَّ وَاحِد، هُوَ الله! 19 أَنْتَ تَعْرِفُ الوَصَايَا: لا تَقْتُلْ، لا تَزْنِ، لا تَسْرِقْ، لا تَشْهَدْ بِالزُّور، لا تَظْلِمْ، أَكْرِمْ أَبَاكَ وَأُمَّكَ". 20 فقَالَ لَهُ الرَّجُل: "يَا مُعَلِّم، هـذِهِ كُلُّها حَفِظْتُها مُنْذُ صِبَاي". 21 وحَدَّقَ إِلَيْهِ يَسُوعُ فَأَحبَّهُ، وقَالَ لَهُ: "وَاحِدَةٌ تَنْقُصُكَ: إِذْهَبْ، وَبِعْ كُلَّ مَا لَكَ، وأَعْطِ الفُقَرَاء، فَيَكُونَ لَكَ كَنْزٌ في السَّمَاء، وتَعَالَ اتْبَعْنِي!". 22 فَاغْتَمَّ الرَّجُلُ لِهـذَا الكَلام، ومَضَى حَزِينًا، لأَنَّهُ كانَ صَاحِبَ مُقْتَنَياتٍ كَثِيرة. 23 فأَجالَ يَسُوعُ نَظَرَهُ في مَنْ حَوْلَهُ وقَالَ لِتَلامِيذِهِ: "مَا أَصْعَبَ عَلَى الأَثْرِيَاءِ أَنْ يَدْخُلُوا مَلَكُوتَ الله!". 24 ودَهِشَ التَّلامِيذُ مِنْ كَلامِهِ، فَأَجَابَ يَسُوعُ ثَانِيَةً وقَالَ لَهُم: "يَا بَنِيَّ، مَا أَصْعَبَ الدُّخُولَ إِلى مَلَكُوتِ الله! 25 إِنَّهُ لأَ[سْهَلُ أَنْ يَدْخُلَ جَمَلٌ في خِرْمِ الإِبْرَة، مِنْ أَنْ يَدْخُلَ غَنِيٌّ مَلَكُوتَ الله". 26 فَبُهِتُوا جِدًّا وقَالُوا بَعْضُهُم لِبَعْض: "فَمَنْ يَقْدِرُ أَنْ يَخْلُص؟". 27 فحَدَّقَ إِلَيْهِم يَسُوعُ وقَال: "هـذَا غَيْرُ مُمْكِنٍ عِنْدَ النَّاس، لا عِنْدَ الله، فَعِنْدَ اللهِ كُلُّ شَيءٍ مُمْكِن".

Lecture French	08 À l’ange de l’Église qui est à Smyrne, écris : Ainsi parle celui qui est le Premier et le Dernier, celui qui était mort et qui est entré dans la vie : 09 Je sais ta détresse et ta pauvreté ; pourtant tu es riche ! Je connais les propos blasphématoires de ceux qui se disent Juifs et ne le sont pas : ils sont une synagogue de Satan. 10 Sois sans aucune crainte pour ce que tu vas souffrir. Voici que le diable va jeter en prison certains des vôtres pour vous mettre à l’épreuve, et vous serez dans la détresse pendant dix jours. Sois fidèle jusqu’à la mort, et je te donnerai la couronne de la vie. 11 Celui qui a des oreilles, qu’il entende ce que l’Esprit dit aux Églises. Le vainqueur ne pourra être atteint par la seconde mort.
Evangile French	17 Jésus se mettait en route quand un homme accourut et, tombant à ses genoux, lui demanda : « Bon Maître, que dois-je faire pour avoir la vie éternelle en héritage ? » 18 Jésus lui dit : « Pourquoi dire que je suis bon ? Personne n’est bon, sinon Dieu seul. 19 Tu connais les commandements : Ne commets pas de meurtre, ne commets pas d’adultère, ne commets pas de vol, ne porte pas de faux témoignage, ne fais de tort à personne, honore ton père et ta mère. » 20 L’homme répondit : « Maître, tout cela, je l’ai observé depuis ma jeunesse. » 21 Jésus posa son regard sur lui, et il l’aima. Il lui dit : « Une seule chose te manque : va, vends ce que tu as et donne-le aux pauvres ; alors tu auras un trésor au ciel. Puis viens, suis-moi. » 22 Mais lui, à ces mots, devint sombre et s’en alla tout triste, car il avait de grands biens. 23 Alors Jésus regarda autour de lui et dit à ses disciples : « Comme il sera difficile à ceux qui possèdent des richesses d’entrer dans le royaume de Dieu ! » 24 Les disciples étaient stupéfaits de ces paroles. Jésus reprenant la parole leur dit : « Mes enfants, comme il est difficile d’entrer dans le royaume de Dieu ! 25 Il est plus facile à un chameau de passer par le trou d’une aiguille qu’à un riche d’entrer dans le royaume de Dieu. » 26 De plus en plus déconcertés, les disciples se demandaient entre eux : « Mais alors, qui peut être sauvé ? » 27 Jésus les regarde et dit : « Pour les hommes, c’est impossible, mais pas pour Dieu ; car tout est possible à Dieu. »

Lecture English	8 “To the angel of the church in Smyrna,* write this: “‘The first and the last, who once died but came to life, says this: 9 “I know your tribulation and poverty, but you are rich.* I know the slander of those who claim to be Jews and are not, but rather are members of the assembly of Satan.b 10 Do not be afraid of anything that you are going to suffer. Indeed, the devil will throw some of you into prison, that you may be tested, and you will face an ordeal for ten days. Remain faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life. 11 “‘“Whoever has ears ought to hear what the Spirit says to the churches.c The victor shall not be harmed by the second death.”’*
Evangile English	17 i As he was setting out on a journey, a man ran up, knelt down before him, and asked him, “Good teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life?” 18 Jesus answered him, “Why do you call me good?* No one is good but God alone. 19 You know the commandments: ‘You shall not kill; you shall not commit adultery; you shall not steal; you shall not bear false witness; you shall not defraud; honor your father and your mother.’”j 20 He replied and said to him, “Teacher, all of these I have observed from my youth.” 21 Jesus, looking at him, loved him and said to him, “You are lacking in one thing. Go, sell what you have, and give to [the] poor and you will have treasure in heaven; then come, follow me.” 22 At that statement his face fell, and he went away sad, for he had many possessions. 23 * Jesus looked around and said to his disciples, “How hard it is for those who have wealth to enter the kingdom of God!”k 24 The disciples were amazed at his words. So Jesus again said to them in reply, “Children, how hard it is to enter the kingdom of God! 25 It is easier for a camel to pass through [the] eye of [a] needle than for one who is rich to enter the kingdom of God.” 26 They were exceedingly astonished and said among themselves, “Then who can be saved?” 27 Jesus looked at them and said, “For human beings it is impossible, but not for God. All things are possible for God.”
