Lecture Arabic	1 أُنْظُرُوا أَيَّ مَحَبَّةٍ مَنَحَنَا الآب، حتَّى نُدْعَى أَولادًا لله، ونَحْنُ أَولادُهُ حَقًّا. لِذـلِكَ فَالعَالَمُ لا يَعْرِفُنَا لأَنَّهُ مَا عَرَفَ الله. 2 أَيُّهَا الأَحِبَّاء، نَحْنُ الآنَ أَولادٌ لله، ولَمْ يَظْهَرْ بَعْدُ مَا سَنَكُون. إِنَّمَا نَعْلَمُ أَنَّنَا، عِنْدَمَا يَظْهَرُ الـمَسِيح، سَنَكُونُ مِثْلَهُ، لأَنَّنا سنُعَايِنُهُ كَمَا هُوَ. 3 فكُلُّ مَنْ لَهُ هـذَا الرَّجَاءُ في الـمَسِيح، فَلْيُطَهِّرْ نَفْسَهُ، كَمَا أَنَّ الـمَسِيحَ هُوَ طَاهِر. 4 كلُّ مَنْ يَفْعَلُ الـخَطِيئَةَ يَفْعَلُ الإِثْمَ أَيْضًا، لأَنَّ الـخَطِيئَةَ هِيَ الإِثْم. 5 وتَعْلَمُونَ أَنَّ الـمَسِيحَ ظَهَرَ لِيَرْفَعَ الـخَطايَا، ولَيْسَ فِيهِ خَطِيئَة. 6 كُلُّ مَنْ يَثْبُتُ فِيهِ لا يَخْطَأ، وكُلُّ مَنْ يَخْطَأُ فَهُوَ مَا رآهُ ولا عَرَفَهُ. 7 أَيُّهَا الأَبْنَاء، لا يُضَلِّلْكُم أَحَد. إِنَّ مَنْ يَعْمَلُ البِرَّ هُوَ بَارٌّ كَمَا أَنَّ الـمَسِيحَ هُوَ بَارّ. 8 مَنْ يَفْعَلُ الـخَطِيئَةَ هُوَ مِنْ إِبْلِيس، لأَنَّ إِبْلِيسَ مُنْذُ البَدْءِ خَاطِئ. لِهـذَا ظَهَرَ ابْنُ الله، لِيَنْقُضَ أَعْمَالَ إِبْلِيس. 9 كُلُّ مَولُودٍ مِنَ اللهِ لا يَفْعَلُ الـخَطِيئَة، لأَنَّ زَرْعَ اللهِ ثَابِتٌ فِيه. ولا يَسْتَطِيعُ أَنْ يَخْطَأ، لأَنَّهُ مَولُودٌ مِنَ الله. 10 بِهـذَا يَظْهَرُ مَنْ هُم أَولادُ اللهِ ومَنْ هُم أَوْلادُ إِبْلِيس. فَكُلُّ مَنْ لا يَعْمَلُ البِرَّ لا يَكُونُ مِنَ الله، وأَيْضًا مَنْ لا يُحِبُّ أَخَاه.
Evangile Arabic	16 فَقالَ لَهُ يَسُوع: "رَجُلٌ صَنَعَ عَشَاءً عَظِيمًا، وَدَعَا كَثِيرين. 17 وسَاعَةَ العَشَاء، أَرْسَلَ عَبْدَهُ يَقُولُ لِلْمَدعُوِّين: تَعَالَوا، فَكُلُّ شَيءٍ مُهيَّأ! 18 فَبَدَأَ الـجَمِيعُ يَعْتَذِرُونَ عَلَى طَرِيقَةٍ وَاحِدَة. قَالَ لَهُ الأَوَّل: إِشْتَرَيْتُ حَقْلاً، وَأَنَا مُضْطَرٌّ أَنْ أَذْهَبَ لأَرَاه. أَسْأَلُكَ أَنْ تَعْذِرَنِي! 19 وقَالَ آخَر: إِشْتَرَيْتُ خَمْسَةَ فَدَادِين، وَأَنَا ذَاهِبٌ لأُجَرِّبَها. أَسْأَلُكَ أَنْ تَعْذِرَني! 20 وَقالَ آخَر: تَزَوَّجْتُ امْرَأَةً، وَلِذـلِكَ لا أَقْدِرُ أَنْ أَجِيء. 21 وَعادَ العَبْدُ وَأَخْبَرَ سَيِّدَهُ بِذـلِكَ. فَغَضِبَ رَبُّ البَيْتِ وقَالَ لِعَبْدِهِ: أُخْرُجْ سَرِيعًا إِلى سَاحَاتِ الـمَدِينَةِ وَشَوارِعِها، وَأْتِ إِلى هُنَا بِالـمَسَاكِينِ وَالـمُقْعَدِينَ وَالعُرْجِ وَالعُمْيَان. 22 فَقالَ العَبْد: يَا سَيِّد، لَقَدْ نُفِّذَ مَا أَمَرْتَ بِه، وَبَقِي أَيْضًا مَكَان. 23 فَقَالَ السَيِّدُ لِلعَبْد: أُخْرُجْ إِلى الطُّرُقِ والسِّيَاجَات، وَأَجْبِرِ النَّاسَ عَلَى الدُّخُول، حَتَّى يَمْتَلِئَ بَيْتِي. 24 فإِنِّي أَقُولُ لَكُم: لَنْ يَذُوقَ عَشَائِي أَحَدٌ مِنْ أُولـئِكَ الـمَدْعُوِّين!".

Lecture French	01 Voyez quel grand amour nous a donné le Père pour que nous soyons appelés enfants de Dieu – et nous le sommes. Voici pourquoi le monde ne nous connaît pas : c’est qu’il n’a pas connu Dieu. 02 Bien-aimés, dès maintenant, nous sommes enfants de Dieu, mais ce que nous serons n’a pas encore été manifesté. Nous le savons : quand cela sera manifesté, nous lui serons semblables car nous le verrons tel qu’il est. 03 Et quiconque met en lui une telle espérance se rend pur comme lui-même est pur. 04 Qui commet le péché transgresse la loi ; car le péché, c’est la transgression. 05 Or, vous savez que lui, Jésus, s’est manifesté pour enlever les péchés, et qu’il n’y a pas de péché en lui. 06 Quiconque demeure en lui ne pèche pas ; quiconque pèche ne l’a pas vu et ne le connaît pas. 07 Petits enfants, que nul ne vous égare : celui qui pratique la justice est juste comme lui, Jésus, est juste ; 08 celui qui commet le péché est du diable, car, depuis le commencement, le diable est pécheur. C’est pour détruire les œuvres du diable que le Fils de Dieu s’est manifesté. 09 Quiconque est né de Dieu ne commet pas de péché, car ce qui a été semé par Dieu demeure en lui : il ne peut donc pas pécher, puisqu’il est né de Dieu. 10 Voici comment se manifestent les enfants de Dieu et les enfants du diable : quiconque ne pratique pas la justice n’est pas de Dieu, et pas davantage celui qui n’aime pas son frère.
Evangile French	16 Jésus lui dit : « Un homme donnait un grand dîner, et il avait invité beaucoup de monde. 17 À l’heure du dîner, il envoya son serviteur dire aux invités : “Venez, tout est prêt.” 18 Mais ils se mirent tous, unanimement, à s’excuser. Le premier lui dit : “J’ai acheté un champ, et je suis obligé d’aller le voir ; je t’en prie, excuse-moi.” 19 Un autre dit : “J’ai acheté cinq paires de bœufs, et je pars les essayer ; je t’en prie, excuse-moi.” 20 Un troisième dit : “Je viens de me marier, et c’est pourquoi je ne peux pas venir.” 21 De retour, le serviteur rapporta ces paroles à son maître. Alors, pris de colère, le maître de maison dit à son serviteur : “Dépêche-toi d’aller sur les places et dans les rues de la ville ; les pauvres, les estropiés, les aveugles et les boiteux, amène-les ici.” 22 Le serviteur revint lui dire : “Maître, ce que tu as ordonné est exécuté, et il reste encore de la place.” 23 Le maître dit alors au serviteur : “Va sur les routes et dans les sentiers, et fais entrer les gens de force, afin que ma maison soit remplie. 24 Car, je vous le dis, aucun de ces hommes qui avaient été invités ne goûtera de mon dîner.” »

Lecture English	1 * See what love the Father has bestowed on us that we may be called the children of God. Yet so we are. The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him.a 2 Beloved, we are God’s children now; what we shall be has not yet been revealed. We do know that when it is revealed* we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is.b 3 Everyone who has this hope based on him makes himself pure, as he is pure.c Avoiding Sin. 4 Everyone who commits sin commits lawlessness, for sin is lawlessness.* 5 You know that he was revealed to take away sins, and in him there is no sin.d 6 No one who remains in him sins; no one who sins has seen him or known him. 7 Children, let no one deceive you. The person who acts in righteousness is righteous, just as he is righteous. 8 Whoever sins belongs to the devil, because the devil has sinned from the beginning. Indeed, the Son of God was revealed to destroy the works of the devil.e 9 No one who is begotten by God commits sin, because God’s seed remains in him; he cannot sin because he is begotten by God.* 10 In this way, the children of God and the children of the devil are made plain; no one who fails to act in righteousness belongs to God, nor anyone who does not love his brother.
Evangile English	16 k He replied to him, “A man gave a great dinner to which he invited many. 17 When the time for the dinner came, he dispatched his servant to say to those invited, ‘Come, everything is now ready.’ 18 But one by one, they all began to excuse themselves. The first said to him, ‘I have purchased a field and must go to examine it; I ask you, consider me excused.’ 19 And another said, ‘I have purchased five yoke of oxen and am on my way to evaluate them; I ask you, consider me excused.’ 20 And another said, ‘I have just married a woman, and therefore I cannot come.’ 21 The servant went and reported this to his master. Then the master of the house in a rage commanded his servant, ‘Go out quickly into the streets and alleys of the town and bring in here the poor and the crippled, the blind and the lame.’ 22 The servant reported, ‘Sir, your orders have been carried out and still there is room.’ 23 The master then ordered the servant, ‘Go out to the highways and hedgerows and make people come in that my home may be filled. 24 For, I tell you, none of those men who were invited will taste my dinner.’”
