Lecture Arabic	1 واكْتُبْ إِلى مَلاكِ الكَنيسَة الَّتي في سَرْدِيس: هـذا مَنْ يَقُولُهُ مَنْ لَهُ أَرواحُ اللهِ السَّبعَةُ والكَواكِبُ السَّبْعَة: إِنِّي عَالِمٌ بِأَعْمَالِكَ، أَنَّكَ بِالاسْمِ حَيّ، ولـكِنَّكَ مَيْت! 2 كُنْ يَقِظًا وَثَبِّتْ ما بَقِيَ لَدَيْكَ وقَدْ أَوشَكَ أَن يَمُوت، فَإِنِّي لا أَجِدُ أَعْمَالَكَ مُتَمَّمَةً أَمَامَ إلـهي. 3 فَتَذكَّرْ إِذًا ما تَلَقَّيْتَهُ ومَا سَمِعْتَهُ، وَاحْفَظْهُ وَتُبْ! وإِنْ لَمْ تَتَيَقَّظْ، فَإنِّي آتٍ كَاللِّص، ولا تَعْلَمُ في أَيِّ سَاعَةٍ آتِيك. 4 ولـكِنْ عِنْدَكَ في سَرِدِيسَ أَشْخَاصٌ قَليلُونَ لَمْ يُدَنِّسُوا أَثْوَابَهُم، فَهُم سَيَمْشُونَ مَعِي في أَثوابٍ بَيْضاء، لأَنَّهم مُسْتَحِقُّون. 5 والظَّافِرُ يَلْبَسُ هُوَ أَيضًا أَثوابًا بَيْضَاء، ولَنْ أَمْحُوَ اسْمَهُ مِن كِتَابِ الـحَياة، وأَعتَرِفُ بِاسْمِهِ أَمَامَ أَبي وأَمَامَ مَلاَئِكَتِهِ. 6 مَنْ لَه أُذُنانِ فَلْيَسمَعْ ما يَقُولُهُ الرُّوحُ لِلكَنائِس.
Evangile Arabic	16 هَا أَنَا أُرْسِلُكُم كَالـخِرَافِ بَيْنَ الذِّئَاب. فَكُونُوا حُكَمَاءَ كَالـحَيَّات، ووُدَعَاءَ كَالـحَمَام. 17 إِحْذَرُوا النَّاس! فَإِنَّهُم سَيُسْلِمُونَكُم إِلى الـمَجَالِس، وفي مَجَامِعِهِم يَجْلِدُونَكُم . 18 وتُسَاقُونَ إِلى الوُلاةِ والـمُلُوكِ مِنْ أَجْلي، شَهَادَةً لَهُم وِلِلأُمَم. 19 وحِيْنَ يُسْلِمُونَكُم، لا تَهْتَمُّوا كَيْفَ أَو بِمَاذَا تَتَكَلَّمُون، فَإِنَّكُم سَتُعْطَونَ في تِلْكَ السَّاعَةِ مَا تَتَكَلَّمُونَ بِهِ. 20 فَلَسْتُم أَنْتُمُ الـمُتَكَلِّمِيْن، بَلْ رُوحُ أَبِيْكُم هُوَ الـمُتَكَلِّمُ فِيْكُم. 21 وسَيُسْلِمُ الأَخُ أَخَاهُ إِلى الـمَوْت، والأَبُ ابْنَهُ، ويَتَمَرَّدُ الأَوْلادُ عَلى وَالِدِيْهِم ويَقْتُلُونَهُم. 22 ويُبْغِضُكُم جَمِيْعُ النَّاسِ مِنْ أَجْلِ اسْمِي، ومَنْ يَصبِرْ إِلى الـمُنْتَهَى يَخْلُصْ.

Lecture French	01 À l’ange de l’Église qui est à Sardes, écris : Ainsi parle celui qui a les sept esprits de Dieu et les sept étoiles : Je connais ta conduite, je sais que ton nom est celui d’un vivant, mais tu es mort. 02 Sois vigilant, raffermis ce qui te reste et qui allait mourir, car je n’ai pas trouvé que tes actes soient parfaits devant mon Dieu. 03 Eh bien, rappelle-toi ce que tu as reçu et entendu, garde-le et convertis-toi. Si tu ne veilles pas, je viendrai comme un voleur et tu ne pourras savoir à quelle heure je viendrai te surprendre. 04 À Sardes, pourtant, tu en as qui n’ont pas sali leurs vêtements ; habillés de blanc, ils marcheront avec moi, car ils en sont dignes. 05 Ainsi, le vainqueur portera des vêtements blancs ; jamais je n’effacerai son nom du livre de la vie ; son nom, je le proclamerai devant mon Père et devant ses anges. 06 Celui qui a des oreilles, qu’il entende ce que l’Esprit dit aux Églises.
Evangile French	16 « Voici que moi, je vous envoie comme des brebis au milieu des loups. Soyez donc prudents comme les serpents, et candides comme les colombes. 17 Méfiez-vous des hommes : ils vous livreront aux tribunaux et vous flagelleront dans leurs synagogues. 18 Vous serez conduits devant des gouverneurs et des rois à cause de moi : il y aura là un témoignage pour eux et pour les païens. 19 Quand on vous livrera, ne vous inquiétez pas de savoir ce que vous direz ni comment vous le direz : ce que vous aurez à dire vous sera donné à cette heure-là. 20 Car ce n’est pas vous qui parlerez, c’est l’Esprit de votre Père qui parlera en vous. 21 Le frère livrera son frère à la mort, et le père, son enfant ; les enfants se dresseront contre leurs parents et les feront mettre à mort. 22 Vous serez détestés de tous à cause de mon nom ; mais celui qui aura persévéré jusqu’à la fin, celui-là sera sauvé.

Lecture English	1 “To the angel of the church in Sardis,* write this: “‘The one who has the seven spirits of God and the seven stars says this: “I know your works, that you have the reputation of being alive, but you are dead. 2 Be watchful and strengthen what is left, which is going to die, for I have not found your works complete in the sight of my God. 3 Remember then how you accepted and heard; keep it, and repent. If you are not watchful, I will come like a thief, and you will never know at what hour I will come upon you.a 4 However, you have a few people in Sardis who have not soiled their garments; they will walk with me dressed in white, because they are worthy.b 5 “‘“The victor will thus be dressed in white,* and I will never erase his name from the book of life but will acknowledge his name in the presence of my Father and of his angels.c 6 “‘“Whoever has ears ought to hear what the Spirit says to the churches.”’
Evangile English	16 j “Behold, I am sending you like sheep in the midst of wolves; so be shrewd as serpents and simple as doves. 17 * But beware of people,k for they will hand you over to courts and scourge you in their synagogues,l 18 and you will be led before governors and kings for my sake as a witness before them and the pagans. 19 When they hand you over, do not worry about how you are to speak or what you are to say. You will be given at that moment what you are to say.m 20 For it will not be you who speak but the Spirit of your Father speaking through you. 21 * n Brother will hand over brother to death, and the father his child; children will rise up against parents and have them put to death. 22 You will be hated by all because of my name, but whoever endures to the end* will be saved.
