Lecture Arabic	18 وَاكْتُبْ إِلى مَلاكِ الكَنِيسَةِ الَّتي في طِيَاطِيرَة: هـذَا ما يَقُولُهُ ابْنُ الله، الَّذي لَهُ عَيْنَانِ كَلَهِيبِ نَار، وَرِجْلاهُ أَشْبَهُ بِنُحَاسٍ خَالِص: 19 إِنِّي عَالِمٌ بِأَعْمَالِكَ، ومَحَبَّتِكَ، وإِيـمَانِكَ، وخِدْمَتِكَ، وَثَبَاتِكَ؛ وأَعْمَالُكَ الأَخيرةُ هِيَ أَكْثَرُ مِن الأُولَى. 20 ولـكِنْ لي عَلَيْكَ أَنَّكَ تَتَغَاضَى عَنِ الـمَرْأَةِ إِيزَابِل، الَّتي تَزْعَمُ أَنَّهَا نَبِيَّة، وهِيَ تُعَلِّمُ وَتُضَلِّلُ عِبَادِي لِيَزْنُوا ويَأْكُلُوا مِنْ ذَبَائِحِ الأَوْثَان. 21 وَقَدْ أَمْهَلْتُهَا وَقْتًا لِكَي تَتُوب، وهِيَ تَأْبَى أَن تَتُوبَ عَنْ زِنَاهَا. 22 فَهَا إِنِّي أُلْقِيها على سَرِير، والَّذِينَ يَزْنُونَ مَعَها أُلْقِيهِمْ في ضِيقٍ شَدِيد، إِنْ لَمْ يَتُوبوا عَنْ أَعْمَالِهَا، 23 وأَولادُها أَقْتُلُهُم قَتْلاً، فَتَعْرِفُ الكَنائِسُ كُلُّها أَنِّي أَنَا هُوَ فَاحِصُ الكُلَى والقُلُوب؛ وَسَأُعْطِيكُمْ، كُلَّ واحِدٍ مِنْكُم، وَفْقَ أَعْمالِكُم. 24 أَمَّا أَنْتُمُ الباقِينَ الَّذِينَ في طِيَاطِيرَة، أَنْتُمُ الَّذِينَ لا تَأْخُذُونَ بِهـذا التَّعلِيم، والَّذِينَ ما عَرَفْتُم أَعْمَاقَ الشَّيطان، كمَا يَقُولون، فَلَكُمْ أَقُول: لَنْ أُلْقِيَ عَلَيْكُمْ ثِقْلاً آخَر. 25 لـكِنْ تَمَسَّكُوا بِمَا لَدَيْكُمْ إِلى أَنْ أَجِيء. 26 والظَّافِر، والـحَافِظُ أَعْمَالي إِلى النِّهايَة، أُعْطِيهِ سُلْطَانًا عَلى الأُمَم، 27 فَيَرْعاهُم بِعَصًا مِن حَدِيد، وكَآنِيَةٍ مِن خَزَفٍ يُحَطَّمُون، 28 كَما أَنِّي أَنا أَيْضًا أَخَذْتُ سُلْطَانًا مِنْ أَبي. وَسَأُعْطِيهِ كَوكَبَ الصَّبَاح. 29 مَنْ لَهُ أُذُنانِ فَلْيَسْمَعْ ما يَقُولُهُ الرُّوحُ لِلكَنائِس.
Evangile Arabic	1 يُشْبِهُ مَلَكُوتُ السَّمَاوَاتِ رَبَّ بَيْتٍ خَرَجَ مَعَ الفَجْرِ لِيَسْتَأْجِرَ فَعَلَةً لِكَرْمِهِ. 2 واتَّفَقَ مَعَ الفَعَلَةِ عَلى دِينَارٍ في اليَوْمِ فَأَرْسَلَهُم إِلى كَرْمِهِ. 3 ثُمَّ خَرَجَ نَحْوَ السَّاعَةِ التَّاسِعَةِ فَرَأَى فَعَلَةً آخَرِينَ واقِفِينَ في السَّاحَةِ بَطَّالِين. 4 فقَالَ لَهُم: إِذْهَبُوا أَنْتُم أَيْضًا إِلى الكَرْم، وسَأُعْطِيكُم مَا يَحِقُّ لَكُم. 5 فَذَهَبُوا. وعَادَ فَخَرَجَ نَحْوَ الظُّهْر، ثُمَّ نَحْوَ السَّاعَةِ الثَّالِثَةِ بَعْدَ الظُّهْر، وفَعَلَ كَذـلِكَ. 6 ثُمَّ خَرَجَ نَحْوَ السَّاعَةِ الـخَامِسَةِ مَسَاءً فَوَجَدَ فَعَلَةً آخَرِينَ واقِفِين، فَقَالَ لَهُم: لِمَاذَا تَقِفُونَ هُنَا طُولَ النَّهَارِ بَطَّالِين؟ 7 قَالُوا لَهُ: "لأَنَّهُ لَمْ يَسْتَأْجِرْنَا أَحَد! قَالَ لَهُم: إِذْهَبُوا أَنْتُم أَيضًا إِلى الكَرْم. 8 ولَمَّا كَانَ الـمَسَاء، قَالَ رَبُّ الكَرْمِ لِوَكِيلِهِ: أُدْعُ الفَعَلَة، وادْفَعْ لَهُم أَجْرَهُم مُبْتَدِئًا بِالآخِرِيْن، مُنْتَهِيًا بِالأَوَّلِين. 9 وجَاءَ فَعَلَةُ السَّاعَةِ الـخَامِسَةِ مَسَاءً فَأَخَذَ كُلٌّ مِنْهُم دينَارًا. 10 ولَمَّا جَاءَ الأَوَّلُون، ظَنُّوا أَنَّهُم سَيَأْخُذُونَ أَكْثَر. فَأَخَذَ كُلٌّ مِنْهُم أَيْضًا دينَارًا. 11 ولَمَّا أَخَذُوا الدِّيْنَارَ بَدَأُوا يَتَذَمَّرُونَ على رَبِّ البَيْتِ، 12 قَائِلين: هـؤُلاءِ الآخِرُونَ عَمِلُوا سَاعَةً واحِدَة، وأَنْتَ سَاوَيْتَهُم بِنَا نَحْنُ الَّذينَ احْتَمَلْنا ثِقَلَ النَّهَارِ وحَرَّهُ! 13 فأَجَابَ وقَالَ لِوَاحِدٍ مِنْهُم: يَا صَاحِب، أَنَا مَا ظَلَمْتُكَ! أَمَا اتَّفَقْتَ مَعِي على دِينَار؟ 14 خُذْ مَا هُوَ لَكَ واذْهَبْ. فَأَنَا أُريدُ أَنْ أُعْطِيَ هـذَا الأَخِيْر، كَمَا أَعْطَيْتُكَ. 15 أَمَا يَحِقُّ لي أَنْ أَتَصَرَّفَ بِأَمْوَالي كَمَا أُريد؟ أَمْ عَيْنُكَ شِرِّيرَةٌ لأَنِّي أَنَا صَالِح؟ 16 هـكَذَا يَصِيرُ الآخِرُونَ أَوَّلِين، والأَوَّلُونَ آخِرِين".

Lecture French	18 À l’ange de l’Église qui est à Thyatire, écris : Ainsi parle le Fils de Dieu, celui qui a les yeux comme une flamme ardente et des pieds qui semblent de bronze précieux : 19 Je connais tes actions, je sais ton amour, ta foi, ton engagement, ta persévérance, et tes dernières actions surpassent les premières. 20 Mais j’ai contre toi que tu laisses faire Jézabel, cette femme qui se dit prophétesse, et qui égare mes serviteurs en leur enseignant à se prostituer et à manger des viandes offertes aux idoles. 21 Je lui ai donné du temps pour se convertir, mais elle ne veut pas se convertir de sa prostitution. 22 Voici que je vais la jeter sur un lit de grande détresse, elle et ses compagnons d’adultère, à moins que, renonçant aux agissements de cette femme, ils ne se convertissent ; 23 et ses enfants, je vais les frapper de mort. Toutes les Églises reconnaîtront que moi, je suis celui qui scrute les reins et les cœurs, et je donnerai à chacun de vous selon ses œuvres. 24 Mais vous, les autres de Thyatire, qui ne partagez pas cette doctrine et n’avez pas connu les « profondeurs de Satan » – comme ils disent –, je vous déclare que je ne vous impose pas d’autre fardeau ; 25 tenez fermement, du moins, ce que vous avez, jusqu’à ce que je vienne. 26 Le vainqueur, celui qui reste fidèle jusqu'à la fin à ma façon d’agir, je lui donnerai autorité sur les nations, 27 et il les conduira avec un sceptre de fer, comme des vases de potier que l’on brise. 28 Il sera comme moi qui ai reçu autorité de mon Père, et je lui donnerai l’étoile du matin. 29 Celui qui a des oreilles, qu’il entende ce que l’Esprit dit aux Églises.
Evangile French	01 « En effet, le royaume des Cieux est comparable au maître d’un domaine qui sortit dès le matin afin d’embaucher des ouvriers pour sa vigne. 02 Il se mit d’accord avec eux sur le salaire de la journée : un denier, c’est-à-dire une pièce d’argent, et il les envoya à sa vigne. 03 Sorti vers neuf heures, il en vit d’autres qui étaient là, sur la place, sans rien faire. 04 Et à ceux-là, il dit : “Allez à ma vigne, vous aussi, et je vous donnerai ce qui est juste.” 05 Ils y allèrent. Il sortit de nouveau vers midi, puis vers trois heures, et fit de même. 06 Vers cinq heures, il sortit encore, en trouva d’autres qui étaient là et leur dit : “Pourquoi êtes-vous restés là, toute la journée, sans rien faire ?” 07 Ils lui répondirent : “Parce que personne ne nous a embauchés.” Il leur dit : “Allez à ma vigne, vous aussi.” 08 Le soir venu, le maître de la vigne dit à son intendant : “Appelle les ouvriers et distribue le salaire, en commençant par les derniers pour finir par les premiers.” 09 Ceux qui avaient commencé à cinq heures s’avancèrent et reçurent chacun une pièce d’un denier. 10 Quand vint le tour des premiers, ils pensaient recevoir davantage, mais ils reçurent, eux aussi, chacun une pièce d’un denier. 11 En la recevant, ils récriminaient contre le maître du domaine : 12 “Ceux-là, les derniers venus, n’ont fait qu’une heure, et tu les traites à l’égal de nous, qui avons enduré le poids du jour et la chaleur !” 13 Mais le maître répondit à l’un d’entre eux : “Mon ami, je ne suis pas injuste envers toi. N’as-tu pas été d’accord avec moi pour un denier ? 14 Prends ce qui te revient, et va-t’en. Je veux donner au dernier venu autant qu’à toi : 15 n’ai-je pas le droit de faire ce que je veux de mes biens ? Ou alors ton regard est-il mauvais parce que moi, je suis bon ?” 16 C’est ainsi que les derniers seront premiers, et les premiers seront derniers. »

Lecture English	18 “To the angel of the church in Thyatira,* write this: “‘The Son of God, whose eyes are like a fiery flame and whose feet are like polished brass, says this: 19 “I know your works, your love, faith, service, and endurance, and that your last works are greater than the first. 20 Yet I hold this against you, that you tolerate the woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess, who teaches and misleads my servants to play the harlot and to eat food sacrificed to idols.* 21 I have given her time to repent, but she refuses to repent of her harlotry. 22 So I will cast her on a sickbed and plunge those who commit adultery with her into intense suffering unless they repent of her works. 23 I will also put her children* to death. Thus shall all the churches come to know that I am the searcher of hearts and minds and that I will give each of you what your works deserve.f 24 But I say to the rest of you in Thyatira, who do not uphold this teaching and know nothing of the so-called deep secrets of Satan:* on you I will place no further burden, 25 except that you must hold fast to what you have until I come. 26 “‘“To the victor,* who keeps to my ways* until the end, I will give authority over the nations.g 27 He will rule them with an iron rod. Like clay vessels will they be smashed, 28 just as I received authority from my Father. And to him I will give the morning star. 29 “‘“Whoever has ears ought to hear what the Spirit says to the churches.”’
Evangile English	1 “The kingdom of heaven is like a landowner who went out at dawn to hire laborers for his vineyard. 2 After agreeing with them for the usual daily wage, he sent them into his vineyard. 3 Going out about nine o’clock, he saw others standing idle in the marketplace, 4 * and he said to them, ‘You too go into my vineyard, and I will give you what is just.’ 5 So they went off. [And] he went out again around noon, and around three o’clock, and did likewise. 6 Going out about five o’clock, he found others standing around, and said to them, ‘Why do you stand here idle all day?’ 7 They answered, ‘Because no one has hired us.’ He said to them, ‘You too go into my vineyard.’ 8 * a When it was evening the owner of the vineyard said to his foreman, ‘Summon the laborers and give them their pay, beginning with the last and ending with the first.’ 9 When those who had started about five o’clock came, each received the usual daily wage. 10 So when the first came, they thought that they would receive more, but each of them also got the usual wage. 11 And on receiving it they grumbled against the landowner, 12 saying, ‘These last ones worked only one hour, and you have made them equal to us, who bore the day’s burden and the heat.’ 13 He said to one of them in reply, ‘My friend, I am not cheating you.* Did you not agree with me for the usual daily wage? 14 * Take what is yours and go. What if I wish to give this last one the same as you? 15 [Or] am I not free to do as I wish with my own money? Are you envious because I am generous?’ 16 * Thus, the last will be first, and the first will be last.”
