Lecture Arabic	1 بَعْدَ ذـلِكَ رَأَيتُ فَإِذَا بَابٌ مَفْتُوحٌ في السَّمَاء، وإِذَا الصَّوْتُ الأَوَّلُ الَّذِي سَمِعْتُهُ كَصَوتِ بُوقٍ يُكَلِّمُنِي قَائِلاً: "إِصْعَدْ إِلى هُنَا فَأَكْشِفَ لَكَ مَا لا بُدَّ مِن حُدُوثِهِ بَعْدَ ذـلِكَ". 2 وَلِلْحَالِ انْتَقَلْتُ بِالرُّوح، وإِذا عَرْشٌ مَنْصُوبٌ في السَّمَاء، وعلى العَرْشِ جَالِس، 3 والـجَالِسُ مَنْظَرُهُ أَشْبَهُ بِحَجَرِ اليَشْبِ واليَاقوُتِ الأَحْمَر، وحَوْلَ العَرْشِ قَوْسُ قُزَح، مَنْظَرُهُ أَشْبَهُ بِالزُّمُرُّد، 4 وَحَولَ العَرْشِ أَرْبَعَةٌ وعِشْرُونَ عَرْشًا، وعَلى العُرُوشِ أَربَعَةٌ وعِشْرُون شَيْخًا جَالِسِين، لابِسِين أَثْوَابًا بَيْضَاء، وَعَلى رُؤُوسِهِم أَكَالِيلُ مِنْ ذَهَب، 5 ومِنَ العَرْشِ تَخْرُجُ بُرُوقٌ وأَصْواتٌ وَرُعُود، وأَمَامَ العَرشِ سَبْعَةُ مَصَابِيحَ مِنْ نَارٍ مُتَّقِدَة، هيَ أَرْوَاحُ اللهِ السَّبْعَة، 6 وأَمَامَ العَرْشِ مِثْلُ بَحْرٍ مِنْ زُجَاجٍ أَشْبَهَ بِالبِلَّوْر، وفي وَسَطِ العَرْش، وحَوْلَ العَرْش، أَرْبَعَةُ أَحْيَاءٍ مُمْتَلِئِينَ عُيُونًا مِنَ الأَمَامِ ومِنَ الوَرَاء. 7 فَالـحَيُّ الأَوَّلُ أَشْبَهُ بِالأَسَد، والـحَيُّ الثَّاني أَشْبَهُ بالعِجْل، والـحَيُّ الثَّالِثُ لَهُ وَجْهٌ كَوَجْهِ الإِنْسَان، والـحَيُّ الرَّابِعُ أَشْبَهُ بِالنَّسْرِ الطَّائِر. 8 وَلِكُلِّ واحِدٍ مِنَ الأَحْيَاءِ الأَرْبَعَةِ سِتَّةُ أَجْنِحَةٍ مَلأَى عُيُونًا مِن حَوْلِها ومِنْ دَاخِلِها، وهُم لا يَبْرَحُونَ نَهَارًا وَلَيْلاً يَقُولُون: "قُدُّوسٌ قُدُّوسٌ قُدُّوسٌ الرَّبُّ الإِلـهُ الضَّابِطُ الكُلّ، الَّذي كانَ والكَائِنُ والآتي!". 9 وعِنْدَما يُعطِي الأَحْيَاءُ مَجْدًا وَكَرَامَةً وَشُكرًا لِلْجَالِسِ عَلى العَرْشِ الـحَيِّ إِلى أَبَدِ الآبِدِين، 10 يَسْقُطُ الأَرْبَعَةُ والعِشْرُونَ شَيْخًا أَمامَ الـجَالِسِ عَلى العَرْش، ويَسْجُدُونَ لِلحَيِّ إلى أَبدِ الآبِدِين، وَيَطْرَحُونَ أَكَالِيلَهُم أَمَامَ العَرْشِ قَائِلين: 11 "إِنَّكَ مُسْتَحِقّ، يا رَبَّنا وإِلـهَنا، أَن تَأْخُذَ الـمَجْدَ والكَرَامَةَ والقُوَّة، لأَنَّكَ أَنْتَ خَلَقْتَ الأَشْيَاءَ كُلَّهَا، وَبِمَشِئَتِكَ كَانَتْ وخُلِقَتْ".
Evangile Arabic	33 إِمَّا أَنْ تَجْعَلُوا الشَّجَرَةَ جَيِّدَةً وثَمَرَتَهَا جَيِّدَة، وإِمَّا أَنْ تَجْعَلُوا الشَّجَرَةَ فَاسِدَةً وثَمَرَتَهَا فَاسِدَة: فَمِنَ الثَّمَرَةِ تُعْرَفُ الشَّجَرَة. 34 يَا نَسْلَ الأَفَاعي، كَيْفَ تَقْدِرُونَ أَنْ تَتَكَلَّمُوا كلامًا صَالِحًا وأَنْتُم أَشْرَار؟ لأَنَّ الفَمَ مِنْ فَيْضِ القَلْبِ يَتَكَلَّم! 35 أَلإِنْسَانُ الصَّالِحُ يُخْرِجُ الصَّالِحَاتِ مِنْ كَنْزِهِ الصَّالِح، والإِنْسَانُ الشِّرِّيرُ يُخْرِجُ الشُّرُورَ مِنْ كَنْزِهِ الشِّرِّير. 36 وأَقُولُ لَكُم: "إِنَّ كُلَّ كَلِمَةٍ بَطَّالَةٍ يَتَكَلَّمُ بِهَا النَّاس، سَيُؤَدُّونَ عَنْهَا حِسَابًا في يَوْمِ الدِّين. 37 فَإنَّكَ بِكَلامِكَ تُبَرَّر، وبِكَلامِكَ تُدَان!".

Lecture French	01 Après cela, j’ai vu : et voici qu’il y avait une porte ouverte dans le ciel. Et la voix que j’avais entendue, pareille au son d’une trompette, me parlait en disant : « Monte jusqu’ici, et je te ferai voir ce qui doit ensuite advenir. » 02 Aussitôt je fus saisi en esprit. Voici qu’un trône était là dans le ciel, et sur le Trône siégeait quelqu’un. 03 Celui qui siège a l’aspect d’une pierre de jaspe ou de cornaline ; il y a, tout autour du Trône, un halo de lumière, avec des reflets d’émeraude. 04 Tout autour de ce Trône, vingt-quatre trônes, où siègent vingt-quatre Anciens portant des vêtements blancs et, sur leurs têtes, des couronnes d’or. 05 Et du Trône sortent des éclairs, des fracas, des coups de tonnerre, et sept torches enflammées brûlent devant le Trône : ce sont les sept esprits de Dieu. 06 Devant le Trône, il y a comme une mer, aussi transparente que du cristal. Au milieu, autour du Trône, quatre Vivants, ayant des yeux innombrables en avant et en arrière. 07 Le premier Vivant ressemble à un lion, le deuxième Vivant ressemble à un jeune taureau, le troisième Vivant a comme un visage d’homme, le quatrième Vivant ressemble à un aigle en plein vol. 08 Les quatre Vivants ont chacun six ailes, avec des yeux innombrables tout autour et au-dedans. Jour et nuit, ils ne cessent de dire : « Saint ! Saint ! Saint, le Seigneur Dieu, le Souverain de l’univers, Celui qui était, qui est et qui vient. » 09 Lorsque les Vivants rendent gloire, honneur et action de grâce à celui qui siège sur le Trône, lui qui vit pour les siècles des siècles, 10 les vingt-quatre Anciens se jettent devant Celui qui siège sur le Trône, ils se prosternent face à celui qui vit pour les siècles des siècles ; ils lancent leur couronne devant le Trône en disant : 11 « Tu es digne, Seigneur notre Dieu, de recevoir la gloire, l’honneur et la puissance. C’est toi qui créas l’univers ; tu as voulu qu’il soit : il fut créé. »
Evangile French	33 Prenez un bel arbre, son fruit sera beau ; prenez un arbre qui pourrit, son fruit sera pourri, car c’est à son fruit qu’on reconnaît l’arbre. 34 Engeance de vipères ! comment pouvez-vous dire des paroles bonnes, vous qui êtes mauvais ? Car ce que dit la bouche, c’est ce qui déborde du cœur. 35 L’homme bon, de son trésor qui est bon, tire de bonnes choses ; l’homme mauvais, de son trésor qui est mauvais, tire de mauvaises choses. 36 Je vous le dis : toute parole creuse que prononceront les hommes, ils devront en rendre compte au jour du Jugement. 37 D’après tes paroles, en effet, tu seras reconnu juste ; d’après tes paroles tu seras condamné. »

Lecture English	1 After this I had a vision of an open door* to heaven, and I heard the trumpetlike voice that had spoken to me before, saying, “Come up here and I will show you what must happen afterwards.” 2 * At once I was caught up in spirit.a A throne was there in heaven, and on the throne sat 3 one whose appearance sparkled like jasper and carnelian. Around the throne was a halo as brilliant as an emerald. 4 Surrounding the throne I saw twenty-four other thrones on which twenty-four elders* sat, dressed in white garments and with gold crowns on their heads.b 5 From the throne came flashes of lightning, rumblings, and peals of thunder.* Seven flaming torches burned in front of the throne, which are the seven spirits of God. 6 c In front of the throne was something that resembled a sea of glass like crystal.* In the center and around the throne, there were four living creatures covered with eyes in front and in back. 7 The first creature resembled a lion, the second was like a calf, the third had a face like that of a human being, and the fourth looked like an eagle* in flight. 8 The four living creatures, each of them with six wings,* were covered with eyes inside and out. Day and night they do not stop exclaiming: “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God almighty, who was, and who is, and who is to come.”d 9 Whenever the living creatures give glory and honor and thanks to the one who sits on the throne, who lives forever and ever, 10 the twenty-four elders fall down before the one who sits on the throne and worship him, who lives forever and ever. They throw down their crowns before the throne, exclaiming: 11 “Worthy are you, Lord our God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things; because of your will they came to be and were created.”e
Evangile English	33 r “Either declare* the tree good and its fruit is good, or declare the tree rotten and its fruit is rotten, for a tree is known by its fruit. 34 * s You brood of vipers, how can you say good things when you are evil? For from the fullness of the heart the mouth speaks. 35 A good person brings forth good out of a store of goodness, but an evil person brings forth evil out of a store of evil. 36 * t I tell you, on the day of judgment people will render an account for every careless word they speak. 37 By your words you will be acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned.”
