Lecture Arabic	13 كتَبْتُ إِلَيْكُم بِهـذَا، لِكَي تَعْلَمُوا أَنَّ الـحَيَاةَ الأَبَدِيَّةَ هِيَ لَكُم أَنْتُمُ الَّذِينَ تُؤْمِنُونَ بِاسْمِ ابْنِ الله. 14 وهـذِهِ هِيَ الثِّقَةُ الَّتي لنَا أَمَامَهُ، أَنَّهُ يَسْمَعُ لنَا، إِذَا طَلَبْنَا شَيْئًا مُوافِقًا لِمَشِيئَتِهِ. 15 وإِنْ كُنَّا نَعْلَمُ أَنَّهُ يَسْمَعُ لنَا في مَا نَطْلُبُهُ، نَعْلَمُ أَنَّنَا نَحْصَلُ على مَا طَلَبْنَاهُ مِنْهُ. 16 إِنْ رأَى أَحَدٌ أَخَاهُ يَخْطَأُ خطِيئَةً لا تُؤَدِّي إلى الـمَوْت، فَلْيَسْأَلِ اللهَ فيَهَبَ الـحَيَاةَ لَهُ ولِلَّذِينَ يَخْطأُونَ خَطِيئَةً لا تُؤَدِّي إِلى الْمَوت. هُنَاكَ خطِيئَةٌ تُؤَدِّي إِلى الْمَوْت، ولا أَقُولُ لَكُم أَنْ تَسْأَلُوا اللهَ مِن أَجْلِهَا. 17 كُلُّ ظُلْمٍ هُوَ خَطِيئَة. وهُنَاكَ خَطِيئَةٌ لا تُؤدِّي إِلى الْمَوت. 18 إِنَّنَا نَعْلَمُ أَنَّ كُلَّ مَولُودٍ مِنَ اللهِ لا يَخْطَأ، لأَنَّ ابْنَ اللهِ يَحْفَظُهُ، فَلا يَمَسُّهُ الشِّرِّير. 19 ونَعْلَمُ أَنَّنَا مِنَ الله، وأَنَّ العَالَمَ كُلَّهُ تَحْتَ سُلْطَانِ الشِّرِّير. 20 ونَعْلَمُ أَيضًا أَنَّ ابْنَ اللهِ أَتَى فأَعْطَانَا الفَهْمَ لِنَعْرِفَ الـحَقّ. ونَحْنُ في الـحَقّ، أَي في ابْنِهِ يَسُوعَ الـمَسِيح. هـذَا هُوَ الإِلـهُ الـحَقُّ والـحَياةُ الأَبَدِيَّة. 21 أَيُّهَا الأَبْنَاء، صُونُوا أَنْفُسَكُم مِنَ الأَوثَان!
Evangile Arabic	9 وَأَنَا أَقُولُ لَكُم: إِصْنَعُوا لَكُم أَصْدِقاءَ بِالـمَالِ الـخَائِن، حَتَّى إِذا نَفَد، قَبِلَكُمُ الأَصْدِقاءُ في الـمَظَالِّ الأَبَدِيَّة. 10 أَلأَمِينُ في القَلِيلِ أَمينٌ في الكَثِير. والـخَائِنُ في القَلِيلِ خَائِنٌ أَيْضًا في الكَثير. 11 إِنْ لَمْ تَكُونُوا أُمَنَاءَ في الـمَالِ الـخَائِن، فَمَنْ يَأْتَمِنُكُم عَلَى الـخَيْرِ الـحَقِيقيّ؟ 12 وَإِنْ لَمْ تَكُونُوا أُمَنَاءَ في مَا لَيْسَ لَكُم، فَمَنْ يُعْطِيكُم مَا هُوَ لَكُم؟

Lecture French	13 Je vous ai écrit cela pour que vous sachiez que vous avez la vie éternelle, vous qui mettez votre foi dans le nom du Fils de Dieu. 14 Voici l’assurance que nous avons auprès de Dieu : si nous faisons une demande selon sa volonté, il nous écoute. 15 Et puisque nous savons qu’il nous écoute en toutes nos demandes, nous savons aussi que nous obtenons ce que nous lui avons demandé. 16 Si quelqu’un voit son frère commettre un péché qui n’entraîne pas la mort, il demandera, et Dieu lui donnera la vie, – cela vaut pour ceux dont le péché n’entraîne pas la mort. Il y a un péché qui entraîne la mort, ce n’est pas pour celui-là que je dis de prier. 17 Toute conduite injuste est péché, mais tout péché n’entraîne pas la mort. 18 Nous le savons : ceux qui sont nés de Dieu ne commettent pas de péché ; le Fils engendré par Dieu les protège et le Mauvais ne peut pas les atteindre. 19 Nous savons que nous sommes de Dieu, alors que le monde entier est au pouvoir du Mauvais. 20 Nous savons aussi que le Fils de Dieu est venu nous donner l’intelligence pour que nous connaissions Celui qui est vrai ; et nous sommes en Celui qui est vrai, en son Fils Jésus Christ. C’est lui qui est le Dieu vrai, et la vie éternelle. 21 Petits enfants, gardez-vous des idoles.
Evangile French	09 Eh bien moi, je vous le dis : Faites-vous des amis avec l’argent malhonnête, afin que, le jour où il ne sera plus là, ces amis vous accueillent dans les demeures éternelles. 10 Celui qui est digne de confiance dans la moindre chose est digne de confiance aussi dans une grande. Celui qui est malhonnête dans la moindre chose est malhonnête aussi dans une grande. 11 Si donc vous n’avez pas été dignes de confiance pour l’argent malhonnête, qui vous confiera le bien véritable ? 12 Et si, pour ce qui est à autrui, vous n’avez pas été dignes de confiance, ce qui vous revient, qui vous le donnera ?

Lecture English	13 I write these things to you so that you may know that you have eternal life, you who believe in the name of the Son of God.j 14 And we have this confidence in him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us.k 15 And if we know that he hears us in regard to whatever we ask, we know that what we have asked him for is ours. 16 If anyone sees his brother sinning, if the sin is not deadly, he should pray to God and he will give him life. This is only for those whose sin is not deadly. There is such a thing as deadly sin, about which I do not say that you should pray.l 17 All wrongdoing is sin, but there is sin that is not deadly. 18 We know that no one begotten by God sins; but the one begotten by God he protects, and the evil one cannot touch him. 19 We know that we belong to God, and the whole world is under the power of the evil one. 20 We also know that the Son of God has come and has given us discernment to know the one who is true. And we are in the one who is true, in his Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life.m 21 Children, be on your guard against idols.
Evangile English	9 I tell you, make friends for yourselves with dishonest wealth,* so that when it fails, you will be welcomed into eternal dwellings.b 10 * The person who is trustworthy in very small matters is also trustworthy in great ones; and the person who is dishonest in very small matters is also dishonest in great ones.c 11 If, therefore, you are not trustworthy with dishonest wealth, who will trust you with true wealth? 12 If you are not trustworthy with what belongs to another, who will give you what is yours?
