Lecture Arabic	23 وعَيَّنُوا لَهُ يَوْمًا، فعَادُوا إِلَيْهِ في بَيْتِهِ، وهُم أَكْثَرُ عَدَدًا. فأَخَذَ بُولُسُ يَشْرَحُ لَهُم مَلَكُوتَ الله، مِنَ الصَّبَاحِ إِلى الـمَسَاء، مُحَاوِلاً إِقْنَاعَهُم في شَأْنِ يَسُوع، مِنْ تَورَاةِ مُوسَى ومِنَ الأَنْبِيَاء. 24 فَاقْتَنَعَ بَعْضُهُم بِمَا قِيل، وبَعْضُهُم لَمْ يُؤْمِنُوا. 25 وافْتَرَقُوا مُخْتَلِفينَ فيمَا بَيْنَهُم، فَاكْتَفَى بُولُسُ بِهـذِهِ الكَلِمَة: "مَا أَحْسَنَ مَا كَلَّمَ بِهِ الرُّوحُ القُدُسُ آبَاءَكُم بِالنَّبِيِّ آشَعْيَا، 26 قَائِلاً: إِذْهَبْ إِلى هـذَا الشَّعْب، وقُلْ لَهُم :تَسْمَعُونَ سَمْعًا ولا تَفْهَمُون، وتَنْظُرُونَ نَظَرًا ولا تَرَون. 27 قَدْ غَلُظَ قَلْبُ هـذَا الشَّعْب: ثَقَّلُوا آذَانَهُم، وَأَغْمَضُوا عُيُونَهُم، لِئَلاَّ يَرَوا بِعُيُونِهِم، وَيَسْمَعُوا بِآذَانِهِم، ويَفْهَمُوا بِقُلُوبِهِم، ويَتُوبُوا فَأَشْفِيَهُم. 28 فَلْيَكُنْ إِذًا مَعْلُومًا عِنْدَكُم أَنَّ خَلاَصَ اللهِ قَدْ أُرْسِلَ إِلى الأُمَم، وهُم سَيَسْمَعُون". 29 قَالَ بُولُسُ لِليَهُودِ هـذَا الكَلام، فَانْصَرَفُوا وهُم في جِدَالٍ عَنِيف. 30 وأَقَامَ بُولُسُ سَنَتَيْنِ كَامِلَتَيْنِ في بَيْتٍ اسْتَأْجَرَهُ لِنَفْسِهِ، وكَانَ يَسْتَقْبِلُ جَميعَ الآتِينَ إِلَيْه. 31 وكَانَ يُنَــادِي بِمَلَكُوتِ الله، ويُــعَلِّمُ بَكُـلِّ جُرْأَةٍ مَا يَخْتَصُّ بيَسُوعَ الـمَسِيحِ ولا يَمْنَعُهُ أَحَد.
Evangile Arabic	22 وكَانَ يَجْتَازُ في الـمُدُنِ وَالقُرَى، وَهُوَ يُعَلِّم، قَاصِدًا في طَريقِهِ أُورَشَلِيم. 23 فَقَالَ لَهُ أَحَدُهُم: "يا سَيِّد، أَقَلِيلُونَ هُمُ الَّذينَ يَخْلُصُون؟". 24 فَقَالَ لَهُم: "إِجْتَهِدُوا أَنْ تَدْخُلُوا مِنَ البَابِ الضَّيِّق. أَقُولُ لَكُم: إِنَّ كَثِيرينَ سَيَطْلُبُونَ الدُّخُولَ فَلا يَقْدِرُون. 25 وَبَعْدَ أَنْ يَكُونَ رَبُّ البَيْتِ قَدْ قَامَ وَأَغْلَقَ البَاب، وَبدَأْتُم تَقِفُونَ خَارِجًا وَتَقْرَعُونَ البَابَ قَائِلين: يَا رَبّ، افتَحْ لَنَا! فَيُجِيبُكُم وَيَقُول: إِنِّي لا أَعْرِفُكُم مِنْ أَيْنَ أَنْتُم! 26 حِينَئِذٍ تَبْدَأُونَ تَقُولُون: لَقَد أَكَلْنَا أَمَامَكَ وَشَرِبْنا، وَعَلَّمْتَ في سَاحَاتِنا! 27 فَيَقُولُ لَكُم: إِنِّي لا أَعْرِفُ مِنْ أَيْنَ أَنْتُم! أُبْعُدُوا عَنِّي، يَا جَمِيعَ فَاعِلِي الإِثْم! 28 هُنَاكَ يَكُونُ البُكاءُ وَصَرِيفُ الأَسْنَان، حِينَ تَرَوْنَ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَإِسحـقَ وَيَعْقُوبَ وَجَميعَ الأَنْبِياءِ في مَلَكُوتِ الله، وَأَنْتُم مَطْرُوحُونَ خَارِجًا. 29 وَيَأْتُونَ مِنَ الـمَشَارِقِ وَالـمَغَارِب، وَمِنَ الشَّمَالِ وَالـجَنُوب، وَيَتَّكِئُونَ في مَلَكُوتِ الله. 30 وَهُوَذَا آخِرُونَ يَصِيرُونَ أَوَّلِين، وَأَوَّلُونَ يَصِيرُونَ آخِرِين".

Lecture French	23 Après lui avoir fixé une date, ils vinrent le trouver en plus grand nombre dans son logement. Paul rendait témoignage au royaume de Dieu, dans ce qu’il leur exposait, et il s’efforçait de les convaincre à propos de Jésus, en partant de la loi de Moïse ainsi que des Prophètes. Cela dura depuis le matin jusqu’au soir. 24 Les uns se laissaient convaincre par de telles paroles, les autres refusaient de croire. 25 N’étant pas d’accord les uns avec les autres, ils s’en allaient, quand Paul leur adressa cette seule parole : « L’Esprit Saint a bien parlé, quand il a dit à vos pères par le prophète Isaïe : 26 Va dire à ce peuple : Vous aurez beau écouter, vous ne comprendrez pas. Vous aurez beau regarder, vous ne verrez pas. 27 Le cœur de ce peuple s’est alourdi : ils sont devenus durs d’oreille, ils se sont bouché les yeux, de peur que leurs yeux ne voient, que leurs oreilles n’entendent, que leur cœur ne comprenne, qu’ils ne se convertissent, – et moi, je les guérirai. 28 Donc, sachez-le : c’est aux nations que ce salut de Dieu a été envoyé. Les nations, elles, écouteront. » 30 Paul demeura deux années entières dans le logement qu’il avait loué ; il accueillait tous ceux qui venaient chez lui ; 31 il annonçait le règne de Dieu et il enseignait ce qui concerne le Seigneur Jésus Christ avec une entière assurance et sans obstacle.
Evangile French	22 Tandis qu’il faisait route vers Jérusalem, Jésus traversait villes et villages en enseignant. 23 Quelqu’un lui demanda : « Seigneur, n’y a-t-il que peu de gens qui soient sauvés ? » Jésus leur dit : 24 « Efforcez-vous d’entrer par la porte étroite, car, je vous le déclare, beaucoup chercheront à entrer et n’y parviendront pas. 25 Lorsque le maître de maison se sera levé pour fermer la porte, si vous, du dehors, vous vous mettez à frapper à la porte, en disant : “Seigneur, ouvre-nous”, il vous répondra : “Je ne sais pas d’où vous êtes.” 26 Alors vous vous mettrez à dire : “Nous avons mangé et bu en ta présence, et tu as enseigné sur nos places.” 27 Il vous répondra : “Je ne sais pas d’où vous êtes. Éloignez-vous de moi, vous tous qui commettez l’injustice.” 28 Là, il y aura des pleurs et des grincements de dents, quand vous verrez Abraham, Isaac et Jacob, et tous les prophètes dans le royaume de Dieu, et que vous-mêmes, vous serez jetés dehors. 29 Alors on viendra de l’orient et de l’occident, du nord et du midi, prendre place au festin dans le royaume de Dieu. 30 Oui, il y a des derniers qui seront premiers, et des premiers qui seront derniers. »

Lecture English	23 So they arranged a day with him and came to his lodgings in great numbers. From early morning until evening, he expounded his position to them, bearing witness to the kingdom of God and trying to convince them about Jesus from the law of Moses and the prophets. 24 Some were convinced by what he had said, while others did not believe. 25 * Without reaching any agreement among themselves they began to leave; then Paul made one final statement. “Well did the holy Spirit speak to your ancestors through the prophet Isaiah, saying: 26 ‘Go to this people and say:g You shall indeed hear but not understand. You shall indeed look but never see. 27 Gross is the heart of this people; they will not hear with their ears; they have closed their eyes, so they may not see with their eyes and hear with their ears and understand with their heart and be converted, and I heal them.’ 28 h Let it be known to you that this salvation of God has been sent to the Gentiles; they will listen.” 29 * 30 * He remained for two full years in his lodgings. He received all who came to him, 31 and with complete assurance and without hindrance he proclaimed the kingdom of God and taught about the Lord Jesus Christ.
Evangile English	22 He passed through towns and villages, teaching as he went and making his way to Jerusalem. 23 Someone asked him, “Lord, will only a few people be saved?” He answered them, 24 j “Strive to enter through the narrow door, for many, I tell you, will attempt to enter but will not be strong enough.k 25 After the master of the house has arisen and locked the door, then will you stand outside knocking and saying, ‘Lord, open the door for us.’ He will say to you in reply, ‘I do not know where you are from.’l 26 And you will say, ‘We ate and drank in your company and you taught in our streets.’ 27 m Then he will say to you, ‘I do not know where [you] are from. Depart from me, all you evildoers!’ 28 n And there will be wailing and grinding of teeth when you see Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob and all the prophets in the kingdom of God and you yourselves cast out. 29 And people will come from the east and the west and from the north and the south and will recline at table in the kingdom of God.o 30 For behold, some are last who will be first, and some are first who will be last.”p
