Lecture Arabic	1 ذاكَ الَّذي كَانَ مُنْذُ البَدْء، أَلَّذي سَمِعْنَاه، أَلَّذي رَأَيْنَاهُ بعُيُونِنَا، أَلَّذي أَبْصَرْنَاهُ ولَمَسَتْهُ أَيْدِينَا، ذَاكَ الَّذي هُوَ كُلِمَةُ الـحَيَاة، بِهِ نُبَشِّرُكُم؛ 2 لأَنَّ الـحَياةَ قَدْ ظَهَرَتْ، فَرَأَيْنَا ونَشْهَد، ونُبَشِّرُكُم بِالـحَياةِ الأَبَدِيَّة، الَّتي كانَتْ عِنْدَ الآبِ وظَهَرَتْ لَنَا. 3 فالَّذي رأَيْنَاهُ وسَمِعْنَاهُ، بِهِ نُبَشِّرُكُم أَنتُم أَيضًا، لِتَكُونَ لَكُم أَنْتُم أَيْضًا شَرِكَةٌ مَعَنا، وشَرِكَتُنا إِنَّمَا هِيَ معَ الآبِ ومَعَ ابْنِهِ يَسُوعَ الـمَسِيح. 4 ونَحْنُ نَكْتُبُ إِلَيْكُم بِهـذَا لِيَكُونَ فَرَحُنَا كامِلاً. 5 وهـذِهِ هِيَ البُشْرَى الَّتي سَمِعْنَاهَا مِنْهُ، وبِهَا نُبَشِّرُكُم: إِنَّ اللهَ نُور، ولا ظُلْمَةَ فِيه. 6 فَإِنْ قُلْنَا إِنَّ لنا شَرِكَةً مَعَهُ، ونَحْنُ نَسِيرُ في الظَّلام، نَكُونُ كاذِبينَ ولا نَعْمَلُ الـحَقّ. 7 أَمَّا إِنْ كُنَّا نَسِيرُ في النُّور، كَمَا هُوَ نَفْسُهُ في النُّور، فتَكُونُ لنَا شَرِكَةٌ بَعضُنَا معَ بَعْض، ودَمُ يَسُوعَ ابْنِهِ يُطَهِّرُنَا مِن كُلِّ خَطِيئَة. 8 إِنْ قُلْنَا إِنَّنَا بلا خَطِيئَة، فإِنَّنَا نُضَلِّلُ أَنْفُسَنَا، ولا يَكُونُ الـحَقُّ فينَا. 9 أَمَّا إِذَا اعْتَرَفْنَا بِخَطَايانَا فإِنَّهُ أَمِينٌ وبَارٌّ يَغْفِرُ لنَا خَطايَانَا، ويُطَهِّرُنَا مِنْ كُلِّ شَرّ. 10 وإِنْ قُلْنَا إِنَّنَا لَمْ نَخْطَأْ، فَإِنَّنَا نَجْعَلُهُ كَاذِبًا ولا تَكُونُ كَلِمَتُهُ فينَا.
Evangile Arabic	31 في تِلْكَ السَّاعَة، دَنَا بَعْضُ الفَرِّيسِيَّينَ وَقَالُوا لِيَسُوع: "أُخْرُجْ وامْضِ مِنْ هُنَا، لأَنَّ هِيرُودُسَ يُرِيدُ أَنْ يَقْتُلَكَ!". 32 فَقَالَ لَهُم: "إِمْضُوا وَقُولُوا لِهـذَا الثَّعْلَب: هَا إنِّي أُخْرِجُ الشَّيَاطِين، وَأُتِمُّ الشِّفَاءَاتِ اليَومَ وَغَدًا، وفي اليَومِ الثَّالِثِ يَتِمُّ بِي كُلُّ شَيء! 33 وَلـكِنْ لا بُدَّ أَنْ أُوَاصِلَ مَسِيرَتِي، اليَومَ وَغَدًا وَبَعْدَ غَد، لأَنَّهُ لا يَنْبَغي أَنْ يَهْلِكَ نَبِيٌّ في خَارِجِ أُورَشَلِيم! 34 أُورَشَلِيم، أُورَشَلِيم، يا قَاتِلَةَ الأَنْبِياء، ورَاجِمَةَ الـمُرْسَلِينَ إِلَيْها، كَمْ مَرَّةٍ أَرَدْتُ أَنْ أَجْمَعَ أَوْلادَكِ كَمَا تَجْمَعُ الدَّجَاجَةُ فِرَاخَهَا تَحْتَ جَنَاحَيْها، وَلَمْ تُرِيدُوا! 35 هُوَذَا بَيْتُكُم يُتْرَكُ لَكُم! وَأَقُولُ لَكُم: لَنْ تَرَوْنِي حَتَّى يَأْتِيَ وَقْتٌ تَقُولُونَ فِيه: مُبَارَكٌ الآتِي بِاسْمِ الرَّبّ! ".

Lecture French	01 CE QUI ETAIT depuis le commencement, ce que nous avons entendu, ce que nous avons vu de nos yeux, ce que nous avons contemplé et que nos mains ont touché du Verbe de vie, nous vous l’annonçons. 02 Oui, la vie s’est manifestée, nous l’avons vue, et nous rendons témoignage : nous vous annonçons la vie éternelle qui était auprès du Père et qui s’est manifestée à nous. 03 Ce que nous avons vu et entendu, nous vous l’annonçons à vous aussi, pour que, vous aussi, vous soyez en communion avec nous. Or nous sommes, nous aussi, en communion avec le Père et avec son Fils, Jésus Christ. 04 Et nous écrivons cela, afin que notre joie soit parfaite. 05 Tel est le message que nous avons entendu de Jésus Christ et que nous vous annonçons : Dieu est lumière ; en lui, il n’y a pas de ténèbres. 06 Si nous disons que nous sommes en communion avec lui, alors que nous marchons dans les ténèbres, nous sommes des menteurs, nous ne faisons pas la vérité. 07 Mais si nous marchons dans la lumière, comme il est lui-même dans la lumière, nous sommes en communion les uns avec les autres, et le sang de Jésus, son Fils, nous purifie de tout péché. 08 Si nous disons que nous n’avons pas de péché, nous nous égarons nous-mêmes, et la vérité n’est pas en nous. 09 Si nous reconnaissons nos péchés, lui qui est fidèle et juste va jusqu’à pardonner nos péchés et nous purifier de toute injustice. 10 Si nous disons que nous sommes sans péché, nous faisons de lui un menteur, et sa parole n’est pas en nous.
Evangile French	31 À ce moment-là, quelques pharisiens s’approchèrent de Jésus pour lui dire : « Pars, va t’en d’ici : Hérode veut te tuer. » 32 Il leur répliqua : « Allez dire à ce renard : voici que j’expulse les démons et je fais des guérisons aujourd’hui et demain, et, le troisième jour, j’arrive au terme. 33 Mais il me faut continuer ma route aujourd’hui, demain et le jour suivant, car il ne convient pas qu’un prophète périsse en dehors de Jérusalem. 34 Jérusalem, Jérusalem, toi qui tues les prophètes et qui lapides ceux qui te sont envoyés, combien de fois ai-je voulu rassembler tes enfants comme la poule rassemble ses poussins sous ses ailes, et vous n’avez pas voulu ! 35 Voici que votre Temple est abandonné à vous-mêmes. Je vous le déclare : vous ne me verrez plus jusqu’à ce que vienne le jour où vous direz : Béni soit celui qui vient au nom du Seigneur ! »

Lecture English	1 What was from the beginning, what we have heard, what we have seen with our eyes, what we looked upon and touched with our hands concerns the Word of life—a 2 for the life was made visible; we have seen it and testify to it and proclaim to you the eternal life that was with the Father and was made visible to us—b 3 what we have seen and heard we proclaim now to you, so that you too may have fellowship with us; for our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son, Jesus Christ.c 4 We are writing this so that our joy may be complete.d God is Light. 5 Now this is the message that we have heard from him and proclaim to you: God is light,* and in him there is no darkness at all. 6 If we say, “We have fellowship with him,” while we continue to walk in darkness, we lie and do not act in truth.e 7 But if we walk in the light as he is in the light, then we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of his Son Jesus cleanses us from all sin.f 8 If we say, “We are without sin,” we deceive ourselves,* and the truth is not in us.g 9 If we acknowledge our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive our sins and cleanse us from every wrongdoing.h 10 If we say, “We have not sinned,” we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.i
Evangile English	31 At that time some Pharisees came to him and said, “Go away, leave this area because Herod wants to kill you.” 32 He replied, “Go and tell that fox, ‘Behold, I cast out demons and I perform healings today and tomorrow, and on the third day I accomplish my purpose.* 33 * Yet I must continue on my way today,q tomorrow, and the following day, for it is impossible that a prophet should die outside of Jerusalem.’ The Lament over Jerusalem.r 34 “Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you who kill the prophets and stone those sent to you, how many times I yearned to gather your children together as a hen gathers her brood under her wings, but you were unwilling! 35 Behold, your house will be abandoned. [But] I tell you, you will not see me until [the time comes when] you say, ‘Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.’”s
