Lecture Arabic	1 ومَنْ كَانَ ضَعِيفًا في الإِيْمَانِ فَاقْبَلُوه، ولا تُحَاكِمُوهُ عَلى آرَائِهِ. روم 14/2-16 2 فَهُنَاكَ مَنْ يَعْتَقِدُ أَنَّهُ يَجُوزُ لَهُ أَنْ يَأْكُلَ مِنْ كُلِّ شَيء، أَمَّا الضَّعِيفُ في الإِيْمَانِ فَيَأْكُلُ البُقُول. 3 فالَّذي يَأْكُل، عَلَيْهِ أَلاَّ يَحْتَقِرَ مَنْ لا يَأْكُل؛ والَّذي لا يَأْكُل، عَلَيْهِ أَلاَّ يَدِينَ مَنْ يَأْكُل، لأَنَّ اللهَ قَدْ قَبِلَهُ! 4 فأَنْتَ مَنْ تَكُون، يَا مَنْ تَدِينُ خَادِمَ غَيْرِكَ؟ فَإِنْ يَثْبُتْ أَوْ يَسْقُطْ فهُوَ لِرَبِّهِ! وَلـكِنَّهُ سَيَثْبُتُ لأَنَّ الرَّبَّ قَادِرٌ أَنْ يُثَبِّتَهُ! 5 وهُنَاكَ مَنْ يُمَيِّزُ بَيْنَ يَوْمٍ وَيَوْم، وآخَرُ يُسَاوِي بَيْنَ الأَيَّامِ كُلِّهَا: فَلْيَبْقَ كُلُّ وَاحِدٍ عَلى يَقِينِهِ في رأْيِهِ الـخَاصّ. 6 فَمَنْ يَهْتَمُّ بِيَوْمٍ مُعَيَّنٍ فَلِلرَّبِّ يَهْتَمّ، ومَنْ يَأْكُلُ فَلِلرَّبِّ يَأْكُل، لأَنَّهُ للهِ يَشْكُر؛ ومَنْ لا يَأْكُلُ فَلِلرَّبِّ لا يَأْكُل، وللهِ يَشْكُر. 7 فَمَا مِنْ أَحَدٍ يَحْيَا لِنَفْسِهِ، وَمَا مِنْ أَحَدٍ يَمُوتُ لِنَفْسِهِ. 8 فإِنْ نَحْيَ فَلِلرَّبِّ نَحْيَا، وإِنْ نَمُتْ فَلِلرَّبِّ نَمُوت. إِذًا فَإِنْ نَحْيَ وَإِنْ نَمُتْ فَنَحْنُ لِلرَّبّ. 9 فَلِذـلِكَ مَاتَ الـمَسِيحُ وعَادَ حَيًّا، لِيَكوُنَ رَبَّ الأَحْيَاءِ والأَمْوَات. 10 أَمَّا أَنْتَ، فَلِمَاذَا تَدِينُ أَخَاك؟ وأَنْتَ، لَمَاذَا تَحْتَقِرُ أَخَاك؟ فَجَمِيعُنَا سَنَقِفُ أَمَامَ مِنْبَرِ الله! 11 لأَنَّهُ مَكْتُوب: "حَيٌّ أَنَا، يَقُولُ الرَّبّ، لي تَجْثُو كُلُّ رُكْبَة، وللهِ يَعْتَرِفُ كُلُّ لِسَان!". 12 إِذًا فَكُلُّ وَاحِدٍ مِنَّا سَيُؤَدِّي للهِ حِسَابًا عَنْ نَفْسِهِ! 13 فَلْنَكُفَّ عَنِ الـحُكْمِ بَعْضُنَا عَلى بَعْض، بَلْ بِالأَحْرَى احْكُمُوا بِأَنْ لا تَجْعَلُوا لأَخِيكُم عَثْرَةً أَوْ شَكًّا. 14 وإِنِّي عَالِمٌ ووَاثِقٌ، في الرَّبِّ يَسُوع، أَنْ لا شَيءَ نَجِسٌ في ذَاتِهِ، إِلاَّ لِمَنْ يَحْسَبُهُ نَجِسًا، فَلَهُ يَكُونُ نَجِسًا.
Evangile Arabic	1 بَعْدَ أَنْ أَكْمَلَ يَسوعُ كَلامَهُ كُلَّهُ عَلى مَسَامِعِ الشَّعْب، دَخَلَ كَفَرنَاحُوم. 2 وكَانَ لِقائِدِ مِئَةٍ خَادِمٌ بِهِ سُوء، وقَدْ أَشْرَفَ عَلى الـمَوت، وكَانَ عَزيزًا عَلَيه. 3 وَسَمِعَ بِيَسوعَ فَأَرْسَلَ إِلَيهِ بَعْضَ شَيُوخِ اليَهُود، يَسْأَلُهُ أَنْ يَأْتِيَ ويُنقِذَ خَادِمَهُ. 4 فَأَقْبَلُوا إِلى يَسُوع، وأَلَحُّوا يَتَوسَّلُونَ إِلَيهِ قَائِلين: "إنَّهُ مُسْتَحِقٌّ أَنْ تَصْنَعَ لَهُ هـذَا، 5 لأَنَّهُ يُحِبُّ أُمَّتنَا، وَقَد بَنَى لَنَا الـمَجْمَع". 6 فَمَضَى يَسُوعُ مَعَهُم. ومَا إنْ صَارَ غَيرَ بَعِيدٍ عَنِ البَيْت، حَتَّى أَرْسَلَ إِلَيهِ قَائِدُ الـمِئَةِ بَعْضَ أَصْدقَائِهِ، يَقولُ لَهُ: "يا رَبّ، لا تُزعِجْ نَفْسَكَ، لأَنِّي لَسْتُ أَهْلاً أَنْ تَدْخُلَ تَحْتَ سَقْفي. 7 لِذـلِكَ لَمْ أَحسَبْ نَفْسي مُسْتَحِقًّا أَنْ آتِيَ إِلَيْك، لـكِنْ قُلْ كَلِمَةً فَيُشْفَى فَتَاي. 8 فَإنِّي أَنا أَيْضًا رَجُلٌ خَاضِعٌ لِسُلْطان، وَلِي جُنُودٌ تَحْتَ إِمْرَتي، فَأَقولُ لِهـذَا: اذْهَب! فَيَذْهَبْ، وَلآخَرَ: ائْتِ! فَيَأْتي، وَلِخَادِمِي: افْعَلْ هـذَا! فَيَفْعَل". 9 وَلَمَّا سَمِعَ يَسوعُ أُعْجِبَ بِه، والتَفَتَ إِلى الـجَمْعِ الَّذي يَتْبَعُهُ فَقاَل: "أَقولُ لَكُم: لَمْ أَجِدْ مِثْلَ هـذَا الإِيْمَانِ حَتَّى في إِسْرائِيل". 10 وَعَاد الـمُرْسَلُونَ إِلى البَيْت، فَوَجَدُوا الـخَادِمَ مُعَافَى.

Lecture French	01 Accueillez celui qui est faible dans la foi, sans critiquer ses raisonnements. 02 L’un, à cause de sa foi, s’autorise à manger de tout ; l’autre, étant faible, ne mange que des légumes. 03 Que celui qui mange ne méprise pas celui qui ne mange pas, et que celui qui ne mange pas ne juge pas celui qui mange, car Dieu l’a accueilli, lui aussi. 04 Toi, qui es-tu pour juger le serviteur d’un autre ? Qu’il tienne debout ou qu’il tombe, cela regarde son maître à lui. Mais il sera debout, car son maître, le Seigneur, a le pouvoir de le faire tenir debout. 05 L’un juge qu’il faut faire des différences entre les jours, l’autre juge qu’ils se valent tous : que chacun reste pleinement convaincu de son point de vue. 06 Celui qui se préoccupe des jours le fait pour le Seigneur. De même, celui qui mange de tout le fait pour le Seigneur, car il rend grâce à Dieu ; mais celui qui ne mange pas de tout le fait aussi pour le Seigneur et il rend grâce à Dieu. 07 En effet, aucun d’entre nous ne vit pour soi-même, et aucun ne meurt pour soi-même : 08 si nous vivons, nous vivons pour le Seigneur ; si nous mourons, nous mourons pour le Seigneur. Ainsi, dans notre vie comme dans notre mort, nous appartenons au Seigneur. 09 Car, si le Christ a connu la mort, puis la vie, c’est pour devenir le Seigneur et des morts et des vivants. 10 Alors toi, pourquoi juger ton frère ? Toi, pourquoi mépriser ton frère ? Tous, en effet, nous comparaîtrons devant le tribunal de Dieu. 11 Car il est écrit : Aussi vrai que je suis vivant, dit le Seigneur, tout genou fléchira devant moi, et toute langue proclamera la louange de Dieu. 12 Ainsi chacun de nous rendra compte à Dieu pour soi-même. 13 Dès lors, cessons de nous juger les uns les autres ; mais jugez plutôt qu’il ne faut rien mettre devant un frère qui le fasse achopper ou trébucher.
Evangile French	01 Lorsque Jésus eut achevé de faire entendre au peuple toutes ses paroles, il entra dans Capharnaüm. 02 Il y avait un centurion dont un esclave était malade et sur le point de mourir ; or le centurion tenait beaucoup à lui. 03 Ayant entendu parler de Jésus, il lui envoya des notables juifs pour lui demander de venir sauver son esclave. 04 Arrivés près de Jésus, ceux-ci le suppliaient instamment : « Il mérite que tu lui accordes cela. 05 Il aime notre nation : c’est lui qui nous a construit la synagogue. » 06 Jésus était en route avec eux, et déjà il n’était plus loin de la maison, quand le centurion envoya des amis lui dire : « Seigneur, ne prends pas cette peine, car je ne suis pas digne que tu entres sous mon toit. 07 C’est pourquoi je ne me suis pas autorisé, moi-même, à venir te trouver. Mais dis une parole, et que mon serviteur soit guéri ! 08 Moi, je suis quelqu’un de subordonné à une autorité, mais j’ai des soldats sous mes ordres ; à l’un, je dis : “Va”, et il va ; à un autre : “Viens”, et il vient ; et à mon esclave : “Fais ceci”, et il le fait. » 09 Entendant cela, Jésus fut en admiration devant lui. Il se retourna et dit à la foule qui le suivait : « Je vous le déclare, même en Israël, je n’ai pas trouvé une telle foi ! » 10 Revenus à la maison, les envoyés trouvèrent l’esclave en bonne santé.

Lecture English	1 * Welcome anyone who is weak in faith,a but not for disputes over opinions.b 2 One person believes that one may eat anything, while the weak person eats only vegetables.c 3 The one who eats must not despise the one who abstains, and the one who abstains must not pass judgment on the one who eats; for God has welcomed him.d 4 Who are you to pass judgment on someone else’s servant? Before his own master he stands or falls. And he will be upheld, for the Lord is able to make him stand.e 5 [For] one person considers one day more important than another, while another person considers all days alike.f Let everyone be fully persuaded in his own mind.* 6 Whoever observes the day, observes it for the Lord. Also whoever eats, eats for the Lord, since he gives thanks to God; while whoever abstains, abstains for the Lord and gives thanks to God. 7 None of us lives for oneself, and no one dies for oneself. 8 For if we live, we live for the Lord,* and if we die, we die for the Lord; so then, whether we live or die, we are the Lord’s.g 9 For this is why Christ died and came to life, that he might be Lord of both the dead and the living.h 10 Why then do you judge your brother? Or you, why do you look down on your brother? For we shall all stand before the judgment seat of God;i 11 for it is written: “As I live, says the Lord, every knee shall bend before me, and every tongue shall give praise to God.”j 12 So [then] each of us shall give an account of himself [to God].k Consideration for the Weak Conscience. 13 Then let us no longer judge one another, but rather resolve never to put a stumbling block or hindrance in the way of a brother.l
Evangile English	1 * When he had finished all his words to the people, he entered Capernaum.* 2 A centurion* there had a slave who was ill and about to die, and he was valuable to him. 3 When he heard about Jesus, he sent elders of the Jews to him, asking him to come and save the life of his slave. 4 They approached Jesus and strongly urged him to come, saying, “He deserves to have you do this for him, 5 for he loves our nation and he built the synagogue for us.” 6 And Jesus went with them, but when he was only a short distance from the house, the centurion sent friends to tell him, “Lord, do not trouble yourself, for I am not worthy to have you enter under my roof.* 7 Therefore, I did not consider myself worthy to come to you; but say the word and let my servant be healed. 8 For I too am a person subject to authority, with soldiers subject to me. And I say to one, ‘Go,’ and he goes; and to another, ‘Come here,’ and he comes; and to my slave, ‘Do this,’ and he does it.” 9 When Jesus heard this he was amazed at him and, turning, said to the crowd following him, “I tell you, not even in Israel have I found such faith.” 10 When the messengers returned to the house, they found the slave in good health.
