Lecture Arabic	2قور 4/ 16 ولِذ,لِكَ لا تَضْعُفُ عَزِيْمَتُنَا. فمَعَ أَنَّ إِنْسَانَنَا الظَّاهِرَ يَنْحَلّ، فَإِنْسَانُنَا الدَّاخِلِيُّ يَتَجَدَّدُ يَوْمًا بَعْدَ يَوْم؛ 2قور   4 5/ 1- 5 1 ونَحْنُ نَعْلَمُ أَنَّهُ إِذَا هُدِمَ بَيْتُنَا الأَرْضِيّ، أَيْ جَسَدُنَا الَّذي هُوَ أَشْبَهُ بِالـخَيْمَة، فَلَنَا مَسْكِنٌ مِنَ الله، بَيْتٌ لَمْ تَصْنَعْهُ الأَيْدِي، أَبَدِيٌّ في السَّمَاوَات. 2 ومَا دُمْنَا في هـذِهِ الـحَال، فَنَحْنُ نَئِنُّ مُتَشَوِّقِينَ أَنْ نَلْبَسَ فَوْقَ بَيْتِنَا الأَرْضِيِّ بَيْتَنَا الَّذي مِنَ السَّمَاء؛ 3 هـذَا إِنْ وُجِدْنَا يَوْمَذَاكَ لابِسِينَ الـجَسَدَ لا عُرَاة! 4 وطَالَمَا نَحْنُ في هـذِهِ الـخَيْمَة، فَنَحْنُ نَئِنُّ مُرْهَقِين، لأَنَّنَا لا نُرِيدُ أَنْ نَقْلَعَهَا بَلْ أَنْ نَلْبَسَ فَوْقَهَا، حَتَّى تَبْتَلِعَ الـحَيَاةُ مَا هُوَ مَائِتٌ فِينَا. 5 واللهُ هُوَ الَّذي أَعَدَّنَا لِذـلِكَ، وأَعْطَانَا عُرْبُونَ الرُّوح. 10/5 لأَنَّنَا لا بُدَّ أَنْ نَظْهَرَ جَمِيعًا أَمَامَ مِنْبَرِ الـمَسِيح، لِيَنَالَ كُلُّ وَاحِدٍ مِنَّا جَزَاءَ مَا عَمِلَهُ وهُوَ بَعْدُ في الـجَسَد، خَيْرًا كَانَ أَمْ شَرًّا.
Evangile Arabic	1 بَعْدَ ذـلِك، كَانَ عِيدٌ لِليَهُود، فَصَعِدَ يَسُوعُ إِلى أُورَشَليم. 2 وفي أُورَشَليم، عِنْدَ بَابِ الغَنَم، بِرْكةٌ يُقَالُ لَهَا بِالعِبْرِيَّةِ بَيْتَ حِسْدا، ولَهَا خَمْسَةُ أَرْوِقَة، 3 يَضْطَجِعُ فِيهَا حَشْدٌ مِنَ الـمَرْضَى، مِنْ عُمْيَانٍ وعُرْجٍ ومَشْلُولِين، وهُمْ يَنْتَظِرُونَ فَوَرَانَ الـمَاء، 4 لأَنَّ مَلاكَ الرَّبِّ كَانَ يَنْزِلُ إِلى البِرْكَةِ أَحْيَانًا، فَيَتَحَرَّكُ مَاؤُهَا. وكَانَ الَّذِي يَنْزِلُ أَوَّلاً، بَعْدَ تَحَرُّكِ الـمَاء، يُشْفَى مَهْمَا كَانَتْ عِلَّتُهُ. 5 وكَانَ هُنَاكَ رَجُلٌ مَرِيضٌ مُنْذُ ثَمَانٍ وثَلاثِينَ سَنَة. 6 ورَآهُ يَسُوعُ مُضْطَجِعًا، وعَلِمَ أَنَّ لَهُ زَمَنًا طَويلاً عَلى تِلْكَ الـحَال، فَقَالَ لَهُ: "أَتُرِيدُ أَنْ تُشْفَى؟". 7 أَجَابَهُ الـمَرِيض: "يَا سَيِّد، لَيْسَ لِي أَحَدٌ يُلقِينِي في البِركَةِ عِنْدَمَا يَتَحَرَّكُ الـمَاء. وفيمَا أَنَا أُحَاوِلُ النُّزُول، يَنْزِلُ قَبْلي آخَر". 8 قَالَ لَهُ يَسُوع: "قُمِ احْمِلْ فِرَاشَكَ وامْشِ". 9 وفِي الـحَالِ شُفِيَ الرَّجُل، وحَمَلَ فِرَاشَهُ، وصَارَ يَمْشِي. وكَانَ ذـلِكَ اليَومُ سَبْتًا. 10 فَقَالَ اليَهُودُ لِلْمُعَافَى: "إِنَّهُ سَبْت، فَلا يَجُوزُ لَكَ أَنْ تَحْمِلَ فِرَاشَكَ". 11 فَأَجَابَهُم: "ذَاكَ الَّذي شَفَانِي قَالَ لِي: إِحْمِلْ فِرَاشَكَ وامْشِ". 12 سَأَلُوه: "مَنْ هُوَ الإِنْسَانُ الَّذي قَالَ لَكَ: إِحْمِلْ وامْشِ؟". 13 وكَانَ الـمُعَافَى لا يَعْلَمُ مَنْ هُوَ، لأَنَّ يَسُوعَ قَدِ ابْتَعَدَ عَنِ الـجَمْعِ الـمُحْتَشِدِ فِي ذـلِكَ الـمَكَان. 14 بَعْدَ ذـلِكَ، وَجَدَهُ يَسُوعُ في الـهَيْكَل، فَقَالَ لَهُ: "هَا أَنْتَ قَدْ شُفِيت، فَلا تَعُدْ إِلى الـخَطِيئَةِ لِئَلاَّ يُصِيبَكَ مَا هُوَ أَسْوَأ". 15 مَضَى الرَّجُلُ وأَخْبَرَ اليَهُودَ أَنَّ يَسُوعَ هُوَ الَّذي شَفَاه. 16 ولِذـلِكَ صَارَ اليَهُودُ يَضْطَهِدُونَ يَسُوع، لأَنَّهُ كَانَ يَفْعَلُ ذـلِك يَوْمَ السَّبْت.

Lecture French	16 C’est pourquoi nous ne perdons pas courage, et même si en nous l’homme extérieur va vers sa ruine, l’homme intérieur se renouvelle de jour en jour. 01 Nous le savons, en effet, même si notre corps, cette tente qui est notre demeure sur la terre, est détruit, nous avons un édifice construit par Dieu, une demeure éternelle dans les cieux qui n’est pas l’œuvre des hommes. 02 En effet, actuellement nous gémissons dans l’ardent désir de revêtir notre demeure céleste par-dessus l’autre, 03 si toutefois le Seigneur ne doit pas nous trouver dévêtus mais vêtus de notre corps. 04 En effet, nous qui sommes dans cette tente, notre corps, nous sommes accablés et nous gémissons, car nous ne voudrions pas nous dévêtir, mais revêtir un vêtement par-dessus l’autre, pour que notre être mortel soit absorbé par la vie. 05 Celui qui nous a formés pour cela même, c’est Dieu, lui qui nous a donné l’Esprit comme première avance sur ses dons. 10 Car il nous faudra tous apparaître à découvert devant le tribunal du Christ, pour que chacun soit rétribué selon ce qu’il a fait, soit en bien soit en mal, pendant qu’il était dans son corps.
Evangile French	01 Après cela, il y eut une fête juive, et Jésus monta à Jérusalem. 02 Or, à Jérusalem, près de la porte des Brebis, il existe une piscine qu’on appelle en hébreu Bethzatha. Elle a cinq colonnades, 03 sous lesquelles étaient couchés une foule de malades, aveugles, boiteux et impotents. [ 3b- 4] 05 Il y avait là un homme qui était malade depuis trente-huit ans. 06 Jésus, le voyant couché là, et apprenant qu’il était dans cet état depuis longtemps, lui dit : « Veux-tu être guéri ? » 07 Le malade lui répondit : « Seigneur, je n’ai personne pour me plonger dans la piscine au moment où l’eau bouillonne ; et pendant que j’y vais, un autre descend avant moi. » 08 Jésus lui dit : « Lève-toi, prends ton brancard, et marche. » 09 Et aussitôt l’homme fut guéri. Il prit son brancard : il marchait ! Or, ce jour-là était un jour de sabbat. 10 Les Juifs dirent donc à cet homme que Jésus avait remis sur pieds : « C’est le sabbat ! Il ne t’est pas permis de porter ton brancard. » 11 Il leur répliqua : « Celui qui m’a guéri, c’est lui qui m’a dit : “Prends ton brancard, et marche !” » 12 Ils l’interrogèrent : « Quel est l’homme qui t’a dit : “Prends ton brancard, et marche” ? » 13 Mais celui qui avait été rétabli ne savait pas qui c’était ; en effet, Jésus s’était éloigné, car il y avait foule à cet endroit. 14 Plus tard, Jésus le retrouve dans le Temple et lui dit : « Te voilà guéri. Ne pèche plus, il pourrait t’arriver quelque chose de pire. » 15 L’homme partit annoncer aux Juifs que c’était Jésus qui l’avait guéri. 16 Et ceux-ci persécutaient Jésus parce qu’il avait fait cela le jour du sabbat.

Lecture English	16 * Therefore, we are not discouraged;* rather, although our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day.k 1 a For we know that if our earthly dwelling,* a tent, should be destroyed, we have a building from God, a dwelling not made with hands, eternal in heaven. 2 * For in this tent we groan, longing to be further clothed with our heavenly habitationb 3 if indeed, when we have taken it off,* we shall not be found naked. 4 For while we are in this tent we groan and are weighed down, because we do not wish to be unclothed* but to be further clothed, so that what is mortal may be swallowed up by life.c 5 Now the one who has prepared us for this very thing is God,d who has given us the Spirit as a first installment.* 10 For we must all appear* before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may receive recompense, according to what he did in the body, whether good or evil.f
Evangile English	1 After this, there was a feast* of the Jews, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem.a 2 Now there is in Jerusalem at the Sheep [Gate]* a pool called in Hebrew Bethesda, with five porticoes.b 3 In these lay a large number of ill, blind, lame, and crippled.* 4 * 5 One man was there who had been ill for thirty-eight years. 6 When Jesus saw him lying there and knew that he had been ill for a long time, he said to him, “Do you want to be well?” 7 The sick man answered him, “Sir, I have no one to put me into the pool when the water is stirred up; while I am on my way, someone else gets down there before me.” 8 Jesus said to him, “Rise, take up your mat, and walk.”c 9 Immediately the man became well, took up his mat, and walked.d Now that day was a sabbath. 10 So the Jews said to the man who was cured, “It is the sabbath, and it is not lawful for you to carry your mat.”e 11 He answered them, “The man who made me well told me, ‘Take up your mat and walk.’” 12 They asked him, “Who is the man who told you, ‘Take it up and walk’?” 13 The man who was healed did not know who it was, for Jesus had slipped away, since there was a crowd there.f 14 * After this Jesus found him in the temple area and said to him,g “Look, you are well; do not sin any more, so that nothing worse may happen to you.” 15 The man went and told the Jews that Jesus was the one who had made him well. 16 Therefore, the Jews began to persecute Jesus because he did this on a sabbath.h
