Lecture Arabic	1 وَبِمَا أَنَّنا مُعَاوِنُونَ لله، نُنَاشِدُكُم أَلاَّ يَكُونَ قَبُولُكُم لِنِعْمَةِ اللهِ بِغَيْرِ فَائِدَة؛ 2 لأَنَّهُ يَقُول: "في وَقْتِ الرِّضَى اسْتَجَبْتُكَ، وفي يَوْمِ الـخَلاصِ أَعَنْتُكَ". فَهَا هُوَ الآنَ وَقْتُ الرِّضَى، وهَا هُوَ الآنَ يَوْمُ الـخَلاص. 3 فإِنَّنَا لا نَجْعَلُ لأَحَدٍ سَبَبَ زَلَّة، لِئَلاَّ يَلْحَقَ خِدْمَتَنَا أَيُّ لَوْم. 4 بَلْ نُظْهِرُ أَنْفُسَنَا في كُلِّ شَيءٍ أَنَّنَا خُدَّامُ الله، بِثَبَاتِنا العَظِيمِ في الضِّيقَاتِ والشَّدَائِدِ والـمَشَقَّات، 5 في الضَّرَبَات، والسُّجُون، والفِتَن، والتَّعَب، والسَّهَر، والصَّوْم، 6 وبِالنَّزَاهَة، والـمَعْرِفَة، والأَنَاة، واللُّطْف، والرُّوحِ القُدُس، والـمَحَبَّةِ بِلا رِيَاء، 7 في كَلِمَةِ الـحَقّ، وقُوَّةِ الله، بِسِلاحِ البِرِّ في اليَدَيْنِ اليُمْنَى واليُسْرَى، 8 في الـمَجْدِ والـهَوَان، بالصِّيتِ الرَّدِيءِ والصِّيتِ الـحَسَن. نُحْسَبُ كَأَنَّنَا مُضِلُّونَ ونَحْنُ صَادِقُون! 9 كأَنَّنَا مَجْهُولُونَ ونَحْنُ مَعْرُوفُون! كأَنَّنَا مَائِتُونَ وهَا نَحْنُ أَحْيَاء! كأَنَّنَا مُعَاقَبُونَ ونَحْنُ لا نَمُوت؛ 10 كَأَنَّنَا مَحْزُونُونَ ونَحْنُ دَائِمًا فَرِحُون! كأَنَّنَا فُقَرَاءُ ونَحْنُ نُغْنِي الكَثِيرِين! كأَنَّنَا لا شَيءَ عِنْدَنَا، ونَحْنُ نَمْلِكُ كُلَّ شَيء! 11 لَقَدْ كَلَّمْنَاكُم بِصَرَاحَة، يَا أَهْلَ قُورِنْتُس، ووَسَّعْنَا لَكُم قُلُوبَنَا! 12 لَسْتُم مُتَضَايِقِينَ بَسَبَبِنَا، بَلْ أَنْتُم مُتَضَايِقُونَ في دَاخِلِكُم! 13 وأَنَا أُكَلِّمُكُم كَأَوْلادِي، فَعَامِلُونِي بِمِثْلِ مَا أُعَامِلُكُم، ووَسِّعُوا لي أَنْتُم أَيْضًا قُلُوبَكُم!
Evangile Arabic	13 فَجَاؤُوا بِالَّذي كَانَ أَعْمَى إِلى الفَرِّيسِيِّين. 14 وكَانَ اليَوْمُ الَّذي صَنَعَ فِيهِ يَسُوعُ الطِّين، وفَتَحَ عَيْنَي الأَعْمَى، يَوْمَ سَبْت. 15 وعَادَ الفَرِّيسِيُّونَ يَسْأَلُونَهُ كَيْفَ أَبْصَر، فَقَالَ لَهُم: "وَضَعَ طِينًا على عَيْنَيَّ، واغْتَسَلْتُ، وهَا أَنَا أُبْصِر". 16 فَقَالَ بَعْضُ الفَرِّيسِيِّين: "لَيْسَ هـذَا الرَّجُلُ مِنْ عِنْدِ الله، لأَنَّهُ لا يَحْفَظُ السَّبْت". وقَالَ آخَرُون: "كَيْفَ يَقْدِرُ إِنْسَانٌ خَاطِئٌ أَنْ يَصْنَعَ مِثْلَ هـذِهِ الآيَات؟". وكَانَ بَيْنَهُم شِقَاق. 17 فَقَالُوا أَيْضًا لِلأَعْمَى: "وأَنْتَ، مَاذَا تَقُولُ فِيهِ وقَدْ فَتَحَ عَيْنَيْك؟". قَال: "إِنَّهُ نَبِيّ". 18 ومَا صَدَّقَ اليَهُودُ أَنَّهُ كَانَ أَعْمَى ثُمَّ أَبْصَر، فَاسْتَدْعَوا وَالِدَيْه، 19 وسَأَلُوهُمَا قَائِلين: "أَهـذَا هُوَ ابْنُكُمَا الَّذي تَقُولانِ عَنْهُ إِنَّهُ وُلِدَ أَعْمَى؟ فَكَيْفَ يُبْصِرُ الآن؟". 20 فَأَجَابَ وَالِدَاهُ وقَالا: "نَحْنُ نَعْلَمُ أَنَّ هـذَا هُوَ ابْنُنَا، وأَنَّهُ وُلِدَ أَعْمَى. 21 أَمَّا كَيْفَ يُبْصِرُ الآنَ فَلا نَعْلَم، أَوْ مَنْ فَتَحَ عَيْنَيْهِ فَلا نَعْلَم. إِسْأَلُوه، وهُوَ يُجِيبُ عَنْ نَفْسِهِ، لأَنَّهُ بَلَغَ سِنَّ الرُّشْد". 22 قَالَ وَالِدَاهُ هـذَا خَوْفًا مِنَ اليَهُود، لأَنَّ اليَهُودَ كَانُوا قَدِ اتَّفَقُوا عَلى أَنْ يَفْصِلُوا عَنِ الـمَجْمَعِ كُلَّ مَنْ يَعْتَرِفُ بِأَنَّ يَسُوعَ هُوَ الـمَسِيح. 23 لِذـلِكَ قَالَ وَالِدَاه: "إِنَّهُ بَلَغَ سِنَّ الرُّشْد، فَاسْأَلُوه". 24 فَاسْتَدْعَى الفَرِّيسِيُّونَ ثَانِيَةً ذَاكَ الَّذي كَانَ أَعْمَى وقَالُوا لَهُ: "مَجِّدِ الله! نَحْنُ نَعْلَمُ أَنَّ هـذَا الإِنْسَانَ خَاطِئ". 25 فَأَجَاب: "لا أَعْلَمُ إِنْ كَانَ خَاطِئًا. أَعْلَمُ شَيْئًا وَاحِدًا، وهُوَ أَنِّي كُنْتُ أَعْمَى، وهَا أَنَا الآنَ أُبْصِر".

Lecture French	01 En tant que coopérateurs de Dieu, nous vous exhortons encore à ne pas laisser sans effet la grâce reçue de lui. 02 Car il dit dans l’Écriture : Au moment favorable je t’ai exaucé, au jour du salut je t’ai secouru. Le voici maintenant le moment favorable, le voici maintenant le jour du salut. 03 Pour que notre ministère ne soit pas exposé à la critique, nous veillons à ne choquer personne en rien. 04 Au contraire, en tout, nous nous recommandons nous-mêmes comme des ministres de Dieu : par beaucoup d’endurance, dans les détresses, les difficultés, les angoisses, 05 les coups, la prison, les émeutes, les fatigues, le manque de sommeil et de nourriture, 06 par la chasteté, la connaissance, la patience et la bonté, la sainteté de l’esprit et la sincérité de l’amour, 07 par une parole de vérité, par une puissance qui vient de Dieu ; nous nous présentons avec les armes de la justice pour l’attaque et la défense, 08 dans la gloire et le mépris, dans la mauvaise et la bonne réputation. On nous traite d’imposteurs, et nous disons la vérité ; 09 on nous prend pour des inconnus, et nous sommes très connus ; on nous croit mourants, et nous sommes bien vivants ; on nous punit, et nous ne sommes pas mis à mort ; 10 on nous croit tristes, et nous sommes toujours joyeux ; pauvres, et nous faisons tant de riches ; démunis de tout, et nous possédons tout. 11 Pour vous, Corinthiens, notre bouche a parlé ouvertement, notre cœur s’est élargi ; 12 vous n’êtes pas à l’étroit chez nous, c’est en vous-mêmes que vous êtes à l’étroit. 13 Je vous le dis parce que vous êtes mes enfants : payez-nous de retour, élargissez votre cœur, vous aussi.
Evangile French	13 On l’amène aux pharisiens, lui, l’ancien aveugle. 14 Or, c’était un jour de sabbat que Jésus avait fait de la boue et lui avait ouvert les yeux. 15 À leur tour, les pharisiens lui demandaient comment il pouvait voir. Il leur répondit : « Il m’a mis de la boue sur les yeux, je me suis lavé, et je vois. » 16 Parmi les pharisiens, certains disaient : « Cet homme-là n’est pas de Dieu, puisqu’il n’observe pas le repos du sabbat. » D’autres disaient : « Comment un homme pécheur peut-il accomplir des signes pareils ? » Ainsi donc ils étaient divisés. 17 Alors ils s’adressent de nouveau à l’aveugle : « Et toi, que dis-tu de lui, puisqu’il t’a ouvert les yeux ? » Il dit : « C’est un prophète. » 18 Or, les Juifs ne voulaient pas croire que cet homme avait été aveugle et que maintenant il pouvait voir. C’est pourquoi ils convoquèrent ses parents 19 et leur demandèrent : « Cet homme est bien votre fils, et vous dites qu’il est né aveugle ? Comment se fait-il qu’à présent il voie ? » 20 Les parents répondirent : « Nous savons bien que c’est notre fils, et qu’il est né aveugle. 21 Mais comment peut-il voir maintenant, nous ne le savons pas ; et qui lui a ouvert les yeux, nous ne le savons pas non plus. Interrogez-le, il est assez grand pour s’expliquer. » 22 Ses parents parlaient ainsi parce qu’ils avaient peur des Juifs. En effet, ceux-ci s’étaient déjà mis d’accord pour exclure de leurs assemblées tous ceux qui déclareraient publiquement que Jésus est le Christ. 23 Voilà pourquoi les parents avaient dit : « Il est assez grand, interrogez-le ! » 24 Pour la seconde fois, les pharisiens convoquèrent l’homme qui avait été aveugle, et ils lui dirent : « Rends gloire à Dieu ! Nous savons, nous, que cet homme est un pécheur. » 25 Il répondit : « Est-ce un pécheur ? Je n’en sais rien. Mais il y a une chose que je sais : j’étais aveugle, et à présent je vois. »

Lecture English	1 * Working together,a then, we appeal to you not to receive the grace of God in vain.* 2 For he says: “In an acceptable time* I heard you, and on the day of salvation I helped you.”b Behold, now is a very acceptable time; behold, now is the day of salvation. 3 c We cause no one to stumble* in anything, in order that no fault may be found with our ministry; 4 * on the contrary, in everything we commend ourselves as ministers of God, through much endurance,* in afflictions, hardships, constraints,d 5 beatings, imprisonments, riots, labors, vigils, fasts;e 6 * by purity, knowledge, patience, kindness, in a holy spirit, in unfeigned love,f 7 in truthful speech, in the power of God; with weapons of righteousness at the right and at the left;g 8 through glory and dishonor, insult and praise. We are treated as deceivers and yet are truthful;* 9 as unrecognized and yet acknowledged; as dying and behold we live; as chastised and yet not put to death;h 10 as sorrowful yet always rejoicing; as poor yet enriching many; as having nothing and yet possessing all things.i 11 * We have spoken frankly to you, Corinthians; our heart is open wide. 12 You are not constrained by us; you are constrained by your own affections.j 13 As recompense in kind (I speak as to my children), be open yourselves.k
Evangile English	13 They brought the one who was once blind to the Pharisees. 14 Now Jesus had made clay* and opened his eyes on a sabbath.h 15 So then the Pharisees also asked him how he was able to see. He said to them, “He put clay on my eyes, and I washed, and now I can see.” 16 So some of the Pharisees said, “This man is not from God, because he does not keep the sabbath.” [But] others said, “How can a sinful man do such signs?” And there was a division among them.i 17 So they said to the blind man again, “What do you have to say about him, since he opened your eyes?” He said, “He is a prophet.”j 18 Now the Jews did not believe that he had been blind and gained his sight until they summoned the parents of the one who had gained his sight. 19 They asked them, “Is this your son, who you say was born blind? How does he now see?” 20 His parents answered and said, “We know that this is our son and that he was born blind. 21 We do not know how he sees now, nor do we know who opened his eyes. Ask him, he is of age; he can speak for him self.” 22 * k His parents said this because they were afraid of the Jews, for the Jews had already agreed that if anyone acknowledged him as the Messiah, he would be expelled from the synagogue. 23 For this reason his parents said, “He is of age; question him.”l 24 So a second time they called the man who had been blind and said to him, “Give God the praise!* We know that this man is a sinner.”m 25 He replied, “If he is a sinner, I do not know. One thing I do know is that I was blind and now I see.”
