Lecture Arabic	1 إِذًا أُنَاشِدُكُم، أَيُّهَا الإِخْوَة، بِمَرَاحِمِ الله، أَنْ تُقَرِّبُوا أَجْسَادَكُم ذَبيحَةً حَيَّةً مُقَدَّسَةً مَرْضِيَّةً لله: تِلْكَ هيَ عِبَادَتُكُمُ الرُّوحِيَّة! 2 ولا تتَشَبَّهُوا بِهـذَا الدَّهْر، بَلْ تَغَيَّرُوا بِتَجْديدِ عُقُولِكُم، لِكَي تُمَيِّزُوا مَا هِيَ مَشِيئَةُ الله، أَيْ مَا هُوَ صَالِحٌ ومَرْضِيٌّ وكَامِل. 3 فإِنِّي، بِالنِّعْمَةِ الَّتي وُهِبَتْ لي، أَقُولُ لِكُلِّ وَاحِدٍ مِنْكُم أَلاَّ يَعْتَبِرَ نَفْسَهُ أَكْثَرَ مِمَّا يَجِب، بَلْ أَنْ يَتَعَقَّلَ في اعْتِبَارِ نَفْسِهِ، كُلُّ واحِدٍ بِمِقْدَارِ مَا قَسَمَ اللهُ لَهُ مِنَ الإِيْمَان. 4 فكَمَا أَنَّ لَنَا في جَسَدٍ وَاحِدٍ أَعْضَاءً كَثِيرَة، ولـكِنْ لَيْسَ لِجَمِيعِ الأَعْضَاءِ عَمَلٌ وَاحِد، 5 كَذـلِكَ نَحْنُ الكَثِيرُونَ جَسَدٌ وَاحِدٌ في الـمَسِيح، ولـكِنْ كُلُّ وَاحِدٍ مِنَّا هُوَ عُضْوٌ لِلآخَرِين. 6 وَبِمَا أَنَّ لَنَا مَوَاهِبَ مُخْتَلِفَةً بِحَسَبِ النَّعْمَةِ الَّتي وُهِبَتْ لَنَا، فَمَنْ لَهُ النُّبُوءَةُ فَلْيَتَنَبَّأْ وَفْقَ الإِيْمَان، 7 وَمَنْ لَهُ الـخِدْمَةُ فَلْيَهْتَمَّ بِالـخِدْمَة، والـمُعَلِّمُ بِالتَّعْلِيم، 8 والـمُعَزِّي بِالتَّعْزِيَة، ومَنْ يُعْطِي فَلْيُعْطِ بِسَخَاء، ومَنْ يَرْئِسُ فَلْيَرْئِسْ بِاجْتِهَاد، ومَنْ يَرحَمُ فَلْيَرْحَمْ بِبَشَاشَة.
Evangile Arabic	37 وفي آخِرِ أَيَّامِ العِيدِ وأَعْظَمِهَا، وَقَفَ يَسُوعُ وهَتَفَ قَائِلاً: "إِنْ عَطِشَ أَحَدٌ فَلْيَأْتِ إِليَّ. 38 وَالـمُؤْمِنُ بِي فَلْيَشْرَبْ، كَمَا قَالَ الكِتَاب: مِنْ جَوْفِهِ تَتَدَفَّقُ أَنْهَارُ مَاءٍ حَيّ". 39 قَالَ هـذَا عَنِ الرُّوحِ الَّذِي كَانَ الـمُؤْمِنُونَ بِهِ مُزْمِعِينَ أَنْ يَقْبَلُوه. فَالرُّوحُ لَمْ يَكُنْ بَعْدُ قَدْ أُعْطِيَ، لأَنَّ يَسُوعَ لَمْ يَكُنْ بَعْدُ قَدْ مُجِّد. 40 وسَمِعَ أُنَاسٌ مِنَ الـجَمْعِ كَلامَهُ هـذَا، فَأَخَذُوا يَقُولُون: "حَقًّا، هـذَا هُوَ النَّبِيّ". 41 وآخَرُونَ كَانُوا يَقُولُون: "هـذَا هُوَ الـمَسِيح". لـكِنَّ بَعْضَهُم كَانَ يَقُول: "وهَلْ يَأْتِي الـمَسِيحُ مِنَ الـجَلِيل؟ 42 أَمَا قَالَ الكِتَاب: يَأْتِي الـمَسِيحُ مِنْ نَسْلِ دَاوُد، ومِنْ بَيْتَ لَحْمَ قَرْيَةِ دَاوُد؟". 43 فَحَدَثَ شِقَاقٌ في الـجَمْعِ بِسَبَبِهِ. 44 وكَانَ بَعْضٌ مِنْهُم يُريدُ القَبْضَ عَلَيْه، ولـكِنَّ أَحَدًا لَمْ يُلْقِ عَلَيْهِ يَدًا.

Lecture French	01 Je vous exhorte donc, frères, par la tendresse de Dieu, à lui présenter votre corps – votre personne tout entière –, en sacrifice vivant, saint, capable de plaire à Dieu : c’est là, pour vous, la juste manière de lui rendre un culte. 02 Ne prenez pas pour modèle le monde présent, mais transformez-vous en renouvelant votre façon de penser pour discerner quelle est la volonté de Dieu : ce qui est bon, ce qui est capable de lui plaire, ce qui est parfait. 03 Par la grâce qui m’a été accordée, je dis à chacun d’entre vous : n’ayez pas de prétentions déraisonnables, mais pensez à être raisonnables, chacun dans la mesure de la mission que Dieu lui a confiée. 04 Prenons une comparaison : en un corps unique, nous avons plusieurs membres, qui n’ont pas tous la même fonction ; 05 de même, nous qui sommes plusieurs, nous sommes un seul corps dans le Christ, et membres les uns des autres, chacun pour sa part. 06 Et selon la grâce que Dieu nous a accordée, nous avons reçu des dons qui sont différents. Si c’est le don de prophétie, que ce soit à proportion du message confié ; 07 si c’est le don de servir, que l’on serve ; si l’on est fait pour enseigner, que l’on enseigne ; 08 pour réconforter, que l’on réconforte. Celui qui donne, qu’il soit généreux ; celui qui dirige, qu’il soit empressé ; celui qui pratique la miséricorde, qu’il ait le sourire.
Evangile French	37 Au jour solennel où se terminait la fête, Jésus, debout, s’écria : « Si quelqu’un a soif, qu’il vienne à moi, et qu’il boive, 38 celui qui croit en moi ! Comme dit l’Écriture : De son cœur couleront des fleuves d’eau vive. » 39 En disant cela, il parlait de l’Esprit Saint qu’allaient recevoir ceux qui croiraient en lui. En effet, il ne pouvait y avoir l’Esprit, puisque Jésus n’avait pas encore été glorifié. 40 Dans la foule, on avait entendu ses paroles, et les uns disaient : « C’est vraiment lui, le Prophète annoncé ! » 41 D’autres disaient : « C’est lui le Christ ! » Mais d’autres encore demandaient : « Le Christ peut-il venir de Galilée ? 42 L’Écriture ne dit-elle pas que c’est de la descendance de David et de Bethléem, le village de David, que vient le Christ ? » 43 C’est ainsi que la foule se divisa à cause de lui. 44 Quelques-uns d’entre eux voulaient l’arrêter, mais personne ne mit la main sur lui.

Lecture English	1 * I urge you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God, your spiritual worship.a 2 Do not conform yourselves to this age but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and pleasing and perfect.b Many Parts in One Body. 3 c For by the grace given to me I tell everyone among you not to think of himself more highly than one ought to think, but to think soberly, each according to the measure of faith that God has apportioned. 4 d For as in one body we have many parts, and all the parts do not have the same function, 5 so we, though many, are one body in Christ* and individually parts of one another. 6 e Since we have gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, let us exercise them:* if prophecy, in proportion to the faith; 7 if ministry, in ministering; if one is a teacher, in teaching; 8 if one exhorts, in exhortation; if one contributes, in generosity; if one is over others,* with diligence; if one does acts of mercy, with cheerfulness.
Evangile English	37 On the last and greatest day of the feast, Jesus stood up and exclaimed, “Let anyone who thirsts come to me and drink.u 38 Whoever believes in me, as scripture says: ‘Rivers of living water* will flow from within him.’”v 39 He said this in reference to the Spirit that those who came to believe in him were to receive. There was, of course, no Spirit yet,* because Jesus had not yet been glorified.w Discussion about the Origins of the Messiah.* 40 Some in the crowd who heard these words said, “This is truly the Prophet.”x 41 Others said, “This is the Messiah.” But others said, “The Messiah will not come from Galilee, will he? 42 Does not scripture say that the Messiah will be of David’s family and come from Bethlehem, the village where David lived?”y 43 So a division occurred in the crowd because of him. 44 Some of them even wanted to arrest him, but no one laid hands on him.
