Lecture Arabic	9 وأَتَى واحِدٌ مِنَ الـمَلائِكَةِ السَّبعَةِ الـحَامِلينَ الكُؤُوسَ السَّبْعَ الـمَلأَى مِنَ الضَّرَبَاتِ السَّبْعِ الأَخيرَة، وكَلَّمَنِي قائِلاً: "تَعَالَ فَأُرِيكَ الـمَرْأَةَ عَرُوسَةَ الـحَمَل!". 10 وَنَقَلَنِي بِالرُّوحِ إلى جَبَلٍ عَظِيمٍ عَالٍ، فأَرَانِي الـمَدِينَةَ الـمُقَدَّسَةَ نَازِلَةً مِنَ السَّمَاءِ، مِنَ عِنْدِ الله، 21 والأَبْوَابُ الاثْنَا عَشَرَ اثْنَتَا عَشْرَةَ لُؤْلُؤَة، وكُلُّ وَاحِدٍ مِنَ الأَبْوَابِ كَانَ مِنْ لُؤْلُؤَةٍ وَاحِدَة. وسَاحَةُ الـمَدِينَةِ مِنْ ذَهَبٍ خَالِصٍ كَالزُّجَاجِ الشَّفَّاف. 22 وَلَمْ أَرَ فيهَا هَيْكَلاً، فَالرَّبُّ الإِلـهُ الضَّابِطُ الكُلَّ والـحَمَلُ هُمَا هَيْكَلُهَا. 23 والـمَدِينَةُ لا تَحْتَاجُ إِلى الشَّمْسِ ولا إِلى القَمَر، لِيُضِيئَا لَهَا، فَمَجْدُ اللهِ أَنَارَهَا، وسِرَاجُهَا هُوَ الـحَمَل. 24 فتَسِيرُ الأُمَمُ في نُورِهَا، ومُلُوكُ الأَرْضِ يَحْمِلُونَ مَجْدَهُم إِلَيْهَا. 25 وأَبْوَابُهَا لَنْ تُغْلَقَ طَوَالَ اليَوم، لأَنَّهُ لَنْ يَكُونَ لَيْلٌ فِيهَا. 26 ويَحْمِلُونَ إِلَيْهَا مَجْدَ الأُمَمِ وكَرَامَتَهُم. 27 ولَنْ يَدْخُلَهَا أَيُّ نَجِسٍ أَو فَاعِلِ رَجَاسَةٍ وكَذِب، بَلِ الْمَكْتُوبُونَ في كِتَابِ الْحَيَاة، كِتَابِ الْحَمَل.
Evangile Arabic	1 ولَمَّا وُلِدَ يَسُوعُ في بَيْتَ لَحْمِ اليَهُودِيَّة، في أَيَّامِ الـمَلِكِ هِيرُودُس، جَاءَ مَجُوسٌ مِنَ الـمَشْرِقِ إِلى أُورَشَلِيم، 2 وهُم يَقُولُون:"أَيْنَ هُوَ الـمَوْلُودُ مَلِكُ اليَهُود؟ فَقَدْ رَأَيْنَا نَجْمَهُ في الـمَشْرِق، فَجِئْنَا نَسْجُدُ لَهُ ". 3 ولَمَّا سَمِعَ الـمَلِكُ هِيرُودُسُ اضْطَرَبَ، واضْطَرَبَتْ مَعَهُ كُلُّ أُورَشَلِيم. 4 فَجَمَعَ كُلَّ الأَحْبَارِ وكَتَبَةِ الشَّعْب، وسَأَلَهُم:" أَيْنَ يُولَدُ الـمَسيح؟". 5 فَقَالُوا لَهُ: "في بَيْتَ لَحْمِ اليَهُودِيَّة، لأَنَّهُ هـكَذَا كُتِبَ بِالنَّبِيّ: 6 وأَنْتِ يَا بَيْتَ لَحْمُ، أَرْضَ يَهُوذَا، لَسْتِ الصُّغْرَى بَيْنَ رُؤَسَاءِ يَهُوذَا، فَمِنْكِ يَخْرُجُ رَئِيسٌ يَرْعَى شَعْبِي إِسْرَائِيل". 7 حِينَئِذٍ دَعَا هِيرُودُسُ الـمَجُوسَ سِرًّا، وتَحَقَّقَ مِنْهُم زَمَنَ ظُهُورِ النَّجْم. 8 ثُمَّ أَرْسَلَهُم إِلى بَيْتَ لَحْمَ وقَال: "إِذْهَبُوا وابْحَثُوا جَيِّدًا عَنِ الصَّبِيّ. فَإِذَا وَجَدْتُمُوه، أَخْبِرُونِي لأَذْهَبَ أَنَا أَيْضًا وأَسْجُدَ لَهُ". 9 ولَمَّا سَمِعُوا كَلامَ الـمَلِكِ انْصَرَفُوا، وإِذَا النَّجْمُ الَّذي رَأَوْهُ في الـمَشْرِقِ عَادَ يَتَقَدَّمُهُم، حَتَّى بَلَغَ الـمَوْضِعَ الَّذي كَانَ فيهِ الصَّبِيّ، وتَوقَّفَ فَوْقَهُ. 10 فَلَمَّا رَأَوا النَّجْمَ فَرِحُوا فَرَحًا عَظِيمًا جِدًّا. 11 ودَخَلُوا البَيْتَ فَرأَوا الصَّبِيَّ مَعَ مَرْيَمَ أُمِّهِ، فَجَثَوا لَهُ سَاجِدِين. ثُمَّ فَتَحُوا كُنُوزَهُم وقَدَّمُوا لَهُ هَدَايَا، ذَهَبًا وبَخُورًا ومُرًّا. 12 وأُوْحِيَ إِلَيْهِم في الـحُلْمِ أَلاَّ يَرْجِعُوا إِلى هِيرُودُس، فَعَادُوا إِلى بِلادِهِم عَنْ طَرِيقٍ آخَر.

Lecture French	09 Alors arriva l’un des sept anges aux sept coupes remplies des sept derniers fléaux, et il me parla ainsi : « Viens, je te montrerai la Femme, l’Épouse de l’Agneau. » 10 En esprit, il m’emporta sur une grande et haute montagne ; il me montra la Ville sainte, Jérusalem, qui descendait du ciel, d’auprès de Dieu : 21 Les douze portes sont douze perles, chaque porte faite d’une seule perle ; la place de la ville est d’or pur d’une parfaite transparence. 22 Dans la ville, je n’ai pas vu de sanctuaire, car son sanctuaire, c’est le Seigneur Dieu, Souverain de l’univers, et l’Agneau. 23 La ville n’a pas besoin du soleil ni de la lune pour l’éclairer, car la gloire de Dieu l’illumine : son luminaire, c’est l’Agneau. 24 Les nations marcheront à sa lumière, et les rois de la terre y porteront leur gloire. 25 Jour après jour, jamais les portes ne seront fermées, car il n’y aura plus de nuit. 26 On apportera dans la ville la gloire et le faste des nations. 27 Rien de souillé n’y entrera jamais, ni personne qui pratique abomination ou mensonge, mais seulement ceux qui sont inscrits dans le livre de vie de l’Agneau.
Evangile French	01 Jésus était né à Bethléem en Judée, au temps du roi Hérode le Grand. Or, voici que des mages venus d’Orient arrivèrent à Jérusalem 02 et demandèrent : « Où est le roi des Juifs qui vient de naître ? Nous avons vu son étoile à l’orient et nous sommes venus nous prosterner devant lui. » 03 En apprenant cela, le roi Hérode fut bouleversé, et tout Jérusalem avec lui. 04 Il réunit tous les grands prêtres et les scribes du peuple, pour leur demander où devait naître le Christ. 05 Ils lui répondirent : « À Bethléem en Judée, car voici ce qui est écrit par le prophète : 06 Et toi, Bethléem, terre de Juda, tu n’es certes pas le dernier parmi les chefs-lieux de Juda, car de toi sortira un chef, qui sera le berger de mon peuple Israël. » 07 Alors Hérode convoqua les mages en secret pour leur faire préciser à quelle date l’étoile était apparue ; 08 puis il les envoya à Bethléem, en leur disant : « Allez vous renseigner avec précision sur l’enfant. Et quand vous l’aurez trouvé, venez me l’annoncer pour que j’aille, moi aussi, me prosterner devant lui. » 09 Après avoir entendu le roi, ils partirent. Et voici que l’étoile qu’ils avaient vue à l’orient les précédait, jusqu’à ce qu’elle vienne s’arrêter au-dessus de l’endroit où se trouvait l’enfant. 10 Quand ils virent l’étoile, ils se réjouirent d’une très grande joie. 11 Ils entrèrent dans la maison, ils virent l’enfant avec Marie sa mère ; et, tombant à ses pieds, ils se prosternèrent devant lui. Ils ouvrirent leurs coffrets, et lui offrirent leurs présents : de l’or, de l’encens et de la myrrhe. 12 Mais, avertis en songe de ne pas retourner chez Hérode, ils regagnèrent leur pays par un autre chemin.

Lecture English	9 One of the seven angels who held the seven bowls filled with the seven last plagues came and said to me, “Come here. I will show you the bride, the wife of the Lamb.”* 10 He took me in spirit to a great, high mountain and showed me the holy city Jerusalem coming down out of heaven from God.i 21 The twelve gates were twelve pearls, each of the gates made from a single pearl; and the street of the city was of pure gold, transparent as glass. 22 * n I saw no temple in the city, for its temple is the Lord God almighty and the Lamb. 23 * The city had no need of sun or moon to shine on it,o for the glory of God gave it light, and its lamp was the Lamb. 24 The nations will walk by its light,* and to it the kings of the earth will bring their treasure.p 25 During the day its gates will never be shut, and there will be no night there. 26 The treasure and wealth of the nations will be brought there, 27 but nothing unclean will enter it, nor any[one] who does abominable things or tells lies. Only those will enter whose names are written in the Lamb’s book of life.q
Evangile English	1 When Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea, in the days of King Herod,* behold, magi from the east arrived in Jerusalem, 2 saying, “Where is the newborn king of the Jews? We saw his star* at its rising and have come to do him homage.”a 3 When King Herod heard this, he was greatly troubled, and all Jerusalem with him. 4 Assembling all the chief priests and the scribes of the people, he inquired of them where the Messiah was to be born.* 5 b They said to him, “In Bethlehem of Judea, for thus it has been written through the prophet: 6 ‘And you, Bethlehem, land of Judah, are by no means least among the rulers of Judah; since from you shall come a ruler, who is to shepherd my people Israel.’” 7 Then Herod called the magi secretly and ascertained from them the time of the star’s appearance. 8 He sent them to Bethlehem and said, “Go and search diligently for the child. When you have found him, bring me word, that I too may go and do him homage.” 9 After their audience with the king they set out. And behold, the star that they had seen at its rising preceded them, until it came and stopped over the place where the child was. 10 They were overjoyed at seeing the star, 11 * c and on entering the house they saw the child with Mary his mother. They prostrated themselves and did him homage. Then they opened their treasures and offered him gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh. 12 And having been warned in a dream not to return to Herod, they departed for their country by another way.
