Lecture Arabic	12 إِذًا فَلا تَمْلِكَنَّ الـخَطيئَةُ بَعْدُ في جَسَدِكُمُ الـمَائِت، فَتُطيعُوا شَهَوَاتِهِ. 13 وَلا تَجْعَلُوا أَعْضَاءَكُم سِلاَحَ ظُلْمٍ لِلخَطِيئَة، بَلْ قَرِّبُوا أَنْفُسَكُم للهِ كَأَحْيَاءٍ قَامُوا مِنْ بَيْنِ الأَمْوَات، واجْعَلُوا أَعْضَاءَكُم سِلاحَ بِرٍّ لله. 14 فلا تَتَسَلَّطْ عَلَيْكُمُ الـخَطِيئَة، لأَنَّكُم لَسْتُم في حُكْمِ الشَّرِيعَةِ بَلْ في حُكْمِ النِّعْمَة. 15 فَمَاذَا إِذًا؟ هَلْ نَخْطَأُ لأَنَّنَا لَسْنَا في حُكْمِ الشَّرِيعَة، بَلْ في حُكْمِ النِّعْمَة؟ حَاشَا! 16 أَلا تَعْلَمُونَ أَنَّكُم عِنْدَمَا تَجْعَلُونَ أَنْفُسَكُم عَبيدًا لأَحَدٍ فَتُطيعُونَهُ، تَكُونُونَ عَبيدًا للَّذي تُطيعُونَه: إِمَّا عَبيدًا لِلخَطِيئَةِ الَّتي تَؤُولُ إِلى الـمَوت، وإِمَّا لِلطَّاعَةِ الَّتي تَؤُولُ إِلى البِرّ. 17 فَشُكْرًا للهِ لأَنَّكُم بَعْدَمَا كُنْتُم عَبيدَ الـخَطيئَة، أَطَعْتُم مِنْ كُلِّ قَلْبِكُم مِثَالَ التَّعْلِيمِ الَّذي سُلِّمْتُمْ إِلَيْه. 18 وَبَعْدَ أَنْ حُرِّرْتُم مِنَ الـخَطِيئَة، صِرْتُم عَبيدًا لِلبِرّ.
Evangile Arabic	35 وقَامَ قَبْلَ طُلُوعِ الفَجْر، فخَرَجَ وذَهَبَ إِلى مَكَانٍ قَفْر، وأَخَذَ يُصَلِّي هُنَاك. 36 ولَحِقَ بِهِ سِمْعَانُ وَالَّذين مَعَهُ، 37 ووَجَدُوهُ فَقَالُوا لَهُ: "أَلْجَمِيعُ يَطْلُبُونَكَ". 38 فقَالَ لَهُم: "لِنَذْهَبْ إِلى مَكَانٍ آخَر، إِلى القُرَى الـمُجَاوِرَة، لأُبَشِّرَ هُنَاكَ أَيْضًا، فَإِنِّي لِهـذَا خَرَجْتُ". 39 وسَارَ في كُلِّ الـجَلِيل، وهُوَ يَكْرِزُ في مَجَامِعِهِم وَيَطْرُدُ الشَّيَاطِين. 40 وأَتَاهُ أَبْرَصُ يَتَوَسَّلُ إِلَيْه، فجَثَا وقَالَ لَهُ: "إِنْ شِئْتَ فَأَنْتَ قَادِرٌ أَنْ تُطَهِّرَنِي!". 41 فتَحَنَّنَ يَسُوعُ ومَدَّ يَدَهُ ولَمَسَهُ وقَالَ لَهُ: "قَدْ شِئْتُ، فَاطْهُرْ!". 42 وفي الـحَالِ زَالَ عَنْهُ البَرَص، فَطَهُرَ. 43 فَانْتَهَرَهُ يَسُوعُ وصَرَفَهُ حَالاً، 44 وقالَ لَهُ: "أُنْظُرْ، لا تُخْبِرْ أَحَدًا بِشَيء، بَلِ اذْهَبْ وَأَرِ نَفْسَكَ لِلْكَاهِن، وَقَدِّمْ عَنْ طُهْرِكَ مَا أَمَرَ بِهِ مُوسَى، شَهَادَةً لَهُم". 45 أَمَّا هُوَ فَخَرَجَ وبَدَأَ يُنَادِي بِأَعْلَى صَوْتِهِ ويُذِيعُ الـخَبَر، حَتَّى إِنَّ يَسُوعَ لَمْ يَعُدْ قَادِرًا أَنْ يَدْخُلَ إِلى مَدِينَةٍ عَلانِيَة، بَلْ كانَ يُقِيمُ في الـخَارِج، في أَمَاكِنَ مُقْفِرَة، وكانَ النَّاسُ يَأْتُونَ إِلَيْهِ مِنْ كُلِّ مَكَان.

Lecture French	12 Il ne faut donc pas que le péché règne dans votre corps mortel et vous fasse obéir à ses désirs. 13 Ne présentez pas au péché les membres de votre corps comme des armes au service de l’injustice ; au contraire, présentez-vous à Dieu comme des vivants revenus d’entre les morts, présentez à Dieu vos membres comme des armes au service de la justice. 14 Car le péché n’aura plus de pouvoir sur vous : en effet, vous n’êtes plus sujets de la Loi, vous êtes sujets de la grâce de Dieu. 15 Alors ? Puisque nous ne sommes pas soumis à la Loi mais à la grâce, allons-nous commettre le péché ? Pas du tout. 16 Ne le savez-vous pas ? Celui à qui vous vous présentez comme esclaves pour lui obéir, c’est de celui-là, à qui vous obéissez, que vous êtes esclaves : soit du péché, qui mène à la mort, soit de l’obéissance à Dieu, qui mène à la justice. 17 Mais rendons grâce à Dieu : vous qui étiez esclaves du péché, vous avez maintenant obéi de tout votre cœur au modèle présenté par l’enseignement qui vous a été transmis. 18 Libérés du péché, vous êtes devenus esclaves de la justice.
Evangile French	35 Le lendemain, Jésus se leva, bien avant l’aube. Il sortit et se rendit dans un endroit désert, et là il priait. 36 Simon et ceux qui étaient avec lui partirent à sa recherche. 37 Ils le trouvent et lui disent : « Tout le monde te cherche. » 38 Jésus leur dit : « Allons ailleurs, dans les villages voisins, afin que là aussi je proclame l’Évangile ; car c’est pour cela que je suis sorti. » 39 Et il parcourut toute la Galilée, proclamant l’Évangile dans leurs synagogues, et expulsant les démons. 40 Un lépreux vient auprès de lui ; il le supplie et, tombant à ses genoux, lui dit : « Si tu le veux, tu peux me purifier. » 41 Saisi de compassion, Jésus étendit la main, le toucha et lui dit : « Je le veux, sois purifié. » 42 À l’instant même, la lèpre le quitta et il fut purifié. 43 Avec fermeté, Jésus le renvoya aussitôt 44 en lui disant : « Attention, ne dis rien à personne, mais va te montrer au prêtre, et donne pour ta purification ce que Moïse a prescrit dans la Loi : cela sera pour les gens un témoignage. » 45 Une fois parti, cet homme se mit à proclamer et à répandre la nouvelle, de sorte que Jésus ne pouvait plus entrer ouvertement dans une ville, mais restait à l’écart, dans des endroits déserts. De partout cependant on venait à lui.

Lecture English	12 * Therefore, sin must not reign over your mortal bodies so that you obey their desires.k 13 And do not present the parts of your bodies to sin as weapons for wickedness, but present yourselves to God as raised from the dead to life and the parts of your bodies to God as weapons for righteousness.l 14 For sin is not to have any power over you, since you are not under the law but under grace.m 15 What then? Shall we sin because we are not under the law but under grace? Of course not!n 16 Do you not know that if you present yourselves to someone as obedient slaves,o you are slaves of the one you obey, either of sin, which leads to death, or of obedience, which leads to righteousness?p 17 But thanks be to God that, although you were once slaves of sin, you have become obedient from the heart to the pattern of teaching to which you were entrusted.* 18 Freed from sin, you have become slaves of righteousness.
Evangile English	35 n Rising very early before dawn, he left and went off to a deserted place, where he prayed. 36 Simon and those who were with him pursued him 37 and on finding him said, “Everyone is looking for you.” 38 He told them, “Let us go on to the nearby villages that I may preach there also. For this purpose have I come.” 39 So he went into their synagogues, preaching and driving out demons throughout the whole of Galilee. The Cleansing of a Leper. 40 o A leper* came to him [and kneeling down] begged him and said, “If you wish, you can make me clean.” 41 Moved with pity, he stretched out his hand, touched him, and said to him, “I do will it. Be made clean.”p 42 The leprosy left him immediately, and he was made clean.q 43 Then, warning him sternly, he dismissed him at once. 44 Then he said to him, “See that you tell no one anything, but go, show yourself to the priest and offer for your cleansing what Moses prescribed; that will be proof for them.”r 45 The man went away and began to publicize the whole matter. He spread the report abroad so that it was impossible for Jesus to enter a town openly. He remained outside in deserted places, and people kept coming to him from everywhere.
