Lecture Arabic	12 إِذًا، يَا أَحِبَّائِي، فَاعْمَلُوا لِخَلاصِكُم بِخَوْفٍ ورِعْدَة، كَمَا أَطَعْتُمْ دَائِمًا، لا في حُضُورِي فَحَسْب، بَلْ بِالأَحرى وبِالأَكْثَرِ الآنَ في غِيَابِي. 13 فَاللهُ هُوَ الَّذي يَجْعَلُكُم تُرِيدُونَ وتَعْمَلُونَ بِحَسَبِ مَرْضَاتِهِ. 14 إِفْعَلُوا كُلَّ شَيءٍ بِغَيْرِ تَذَمُّرٍ وَجِدَال، 15 لِكَي تَصِيرُوا بُسَطَاءَ لا لَومَ عَلَيْكُم، وأَبْنَاءً للهِ لا عَيْبَ فيكُم، وَسْطَ جِيْلٍ مُعْوَجٍّ ومُنْحَرِف، تُضِيئُونَ فيهِ كالنَّيِّراتِ في العَالَـم، 16 مُتَمَسِّكِينَ بِكَلِمَةِ الـحَيَاة، لافْتِخَارِي في يَومِ الـمَسِيح، بِأَنِّي مَا سَعَيْتُ ولا تَعِبْتُ بَاطِلاً. 17 لو أَنَّ دَمِي يُرَاقُ على ذَبِيحَةِ إِيْمانِكُم وخِدْمَتِهِ، لَكُنْتُ أَفْرَحُ وأَبْتَهِجُ مَعَكُم جَمِيعًا. 18 فَافْرَحُوا أَنْتُم أَيْضًا وابْتَهِجُوا مَعِي. 19 وأَرجُو في الرَّبِّ يَسُوعَ أَنْ أُرْسِلَ إِلَيكُم طِيمُوتَاوُسَ عاجِلاً، لِتَطِيبَ نَفْسِي أَنَا أَيْضًا، مَتَى اطَّلَعْتُ على أَحْوالِكُم.
Evangile Arabic	31 ونَزَلَ يَسُوعُ إِلىكَفَرْنَاحُوم، وهيَ مَدِينَةٌ في الـجَليل، وكَانَ يُعلِّمُهُم في السُّبُوت. 32 فبُهِتُوا مِنْ تَعْلِيمِهِ، لأَنَّهُ كانَ يَتَكَلَّمُ بِسُلْطَان. 33 وكانَ في الـمَجْمَعِ رَجُلٌ بِهِ رُوحُ شَيْطَانٍ نَجِس، فَصَرَخَ بِصَوْتٍ عَظِيم: 34 "آه! مَا لَنَا ولَكَ يَا يَسُوعُ النَّاصِرِيّ ؟ هَلْ أَتَيْتَ لِتُهْلِكَنا؟ أَنَا أَعْلَمُ مَنْ أَنْت: أَنْتَ قُدُّوسُ الله!". 35 فزَجَرَهُ يَسُوعُ قَائِلاً: "إِخْرَسْ! واخْرُجْ مِنْ هـذَا الرَّجُل!". فطَرَحَهُ الشَّيْطَانُ في الوَسَطِ، وخَرَجَ مِنْهُ، ولَمْ يُؤْذِهِ بِشَيء. 36 فتَعَجَّبُوا جَمِيعُهُم وأَخَذُوا يُخَاطِبُونَ بَعْضُهُم بَعْضًا قائِلين: "ما هـذا الكَلام؟ فَإنَّهُ بِسُلْطَانٍ وقُوَّةٍ يَأْمُرُ الأَرْوَاحَ النَّجِسَةَ فَتَخْرُج". 37 وذَاعَ خَبَرُهُ في كُلِّ مَكَانٍ مِنْ تِلْكَ النَّاحِيَة. 38 وقَامَ يَسُوعُ مِنَ الـمَجْمَعِ فَدَخَلَ بَيْتَ سِمْعَان. وكَانَتْ حَمَاةُ سِمْعَانَ مُصَابَةً بِحُمَّى شَدِيدَة، فَسَأَلُوهُ مِنْ أَجْلِهَا. 39 فانْحَنَى عَلَيْها، وزَجَرَ الـحُمَّى فَتَرَكَتْهَا. وفَجْأَةً قَامَتْ وصَارَتْ تَخْدُمُهُم. 40 وعِنْدَ غُرُوبِ الشَّمْس، كانَ جَمِيعُ النَّاسِ يَأْتُونَ إِلَيْهِ بِكُلِّ مَا لَدَيْهِم مِن مَرْضَى مُصَابِينَ بأَمْرَاضٍ مُخْتَلِفَة. فكَانَ يَضَعُ يَدَيهِ على كُلِّ واحِدٍ مِنْهُم ويَشْفِيهِم. 41 وكَانَتْ أَيْضًا شَياطينُ تَخْرُجُ مِنْ مَرْضَى كَثِيرِين، وهيَ تَصْرُخُ وتَقُول: "أَنْتَ هُوَ ابْنُ الله!". فكَانَ يَزْجُرُهُم ولا يَدَعُهُم يَتَكَلَّمُون، لأَنَّهُم عَلِمُوا أَنَّهُ هُوَ الـمَسِيح. 42 وعِنْدَ الصَّبَاح، خَرَجَ يَسُوعُ ومَضَى إِلى مَكَانٍ قَفْر، وكَانَ الـجُمُوعُ يَطْلُبُونَهُ، فأَتَوا إِلَيْهِ وَحَاوَلُوا أَنْ يُمْسِكُوا بِه ِ لِئَلاَّ يَبْتَعِدَ عَنْهُم. 43 فقَالَ لَهُم: "عَلَيَّ أَنْ أُبَشِّرَ سَائِرَ الـمُدُنِ أَيْضًا بِمَلَكُوتِ الله، فإِنِّي لِهـذَا أُرْسِلْتُ ". 44 وكَانَ يُبَشِّرُ في مَـجَامِعِ اليَهُودِيَّة.

Lecture French	12 Ainsi, mes bien-aimés, vous qui avez toujours obéi, travaillez à votre salut avec crainte et profond respect ; ne le faites pas seulement quand je suis là, mais encore bien plus maintenant que je n’y suis pas. 13 Car c’est Dieu qui agit pour produire en vous la volonté et l’action, selon son projet bienveillant. 14 Faites tout sans récriminer et sans discuter ; 15 ainsi vous serez irréprochables et purs, vous qui êtes des enfants de Dieu sans tache au milieu d’une génération tortueuse et pervertie où vous brillez comme les astres dans l’univers, 16 en tenant ferme la parole de vie. Alors je serai fier de vous quand viendra le jour du Christ : je n’aurai pas couru pour rien ni peiné pour rien. 17 Et si je dois verser mon sang pour l’ajouter au sacrifice que vous offrez à Dieu par votre foi, je m’en réjouis et je partage votre joie à tous. 18 Et vous, de même, réjouissez-vous et partagez ma joie. 19 Dans le Seigneur Jésus, j’ai l’espoir de vous envoyer bientôt Timothée, pour que j’aie, moi aussi, la satisfaction de recevoir de vos nouvelles.
Evangile French	31 Jésus descendit à Capharnaüm, ville de Galilée, et il y enseignait, le jour du sabbat. 32 On était frappé par son enseignement car sa parole était pleine d’autorité. 33 Or, il y avait dans la synagogue un homme possédé par l’esprit d’un démon impur, qui se mit à crier d’une voix forte : 34 « Ah ! que nous veux-tu, Jésus de Nazareth ? Es-tu venu pour nous perdre ? Je sais qui tu es : tu es le Saint de Dieu. » 35 Jésus le menaça : « Silence ! Sors de cet homme. » Alors le démon projeta l’homme en plein milieu et sortit de lui sans lui faire aucun mal. 36 Tous furent saisis d’effroi et ils se disaient entre eux : « Quelle est cette parole ? Il commande avec autorité et puissance aux esprits impurs, et ils sortent ! » 37 Et la réputation de Jésus se propageait dans toute la région. 38 Jésus quitta la synagogue et entra dans la maison de Simon. Or, la belle-mère de Simon était oppressée par une forte fièvre, et on demanda à Jésus de faire quelque chose pour elle. 39 Il se pencha sur elle, menaça la fièvre, et la fièvre la quitta. À l’instant même, la femme se leva et elle les servait. 40 Au coucher du soleil, tous ceux qui avaient des malades atteints de diverses infirmités les lui amenèrent. Et Jésus, imposant les mains à chacun d’eux, les guérissait. 41 Et même des démons sortaient de beaucoup d’entre eux en criant : « C’est toi le Fils de Dieu ! » Mais Jésus les menaçait et leur interdisait de parler, parce qu’ils savaient, eux, que le Christ, c’était lui. 42 Quand il fit jour, Jésus sortit et s’en alla dans un endroit désert. Les foules le cherchaient ; elles arrivèrent jusqu’à lui, et elles le retenaient pour l’empêcher de les quitter. 43 Mais il leur dit : « Aux autres villes aussi, il faut que j’annonce la Bonne Nouvelle du règne de Dieu, car c’est pour cela que j’ai été envoyé. » 44 Et il proclamait l’Évangile dans les synagogues du pays des Juifs.

Evangile English	31 * Jesus then went down to Capernaum,r a town of Galilee.s He taught them on the sabbath, 32 and they were astonished at his teaching because he spoke with authority.t 33 In the synagogue there was a man with the spirit of an unclean demon,u and he cried out in a loud voice, 34 “Ha! What have you to do with us, Jesus of Nazareth? Have you come to destroy us?* I know who you are—the Holy One of God!”v 35 Jesus rebuked him and said, “Be quiet! Come out of him!” Then the demon threw the man down in front of them and came out of him without doing him any harm. 36 They were all amazed and said to one another, “What is there about his word? For with authority and power he commands the unclean spirits, and they come out.” 37 And news of him spread everywhere in the surrounding region. The Cure of Simon’s Mother-in-Law. 38 w After he left the synagogue, he entered the house of Simon.* Simon’s mother-in-law was afflicted with a severe fever, and they interceded with him about her. 39 He stood over her, rebuked the fever, and it left her. She got up immediately and waited on them. Other Healings.x 40 At sunset, all who had people sick with various diseases brought them to him. He laid his hands on each of them and cured them. 41 * And demons also came out from many, shouting, “You are the Son of God.”y But he rebuked them and did not allow them to speak because they knew that he was the Messiah. Jesus Leaves Capernaum.z 42 * At daybreak, Jesus left and went to a deserted place. The crowds went looking for him, and when they came to him, they tried to prevent him from leaving them. 43 But he said to them, “To the other towns also I must proclaim the good news of the kingdom of God, because for this purpose I have been sent.”a 44 And he was preaching in the synagogues of Judea.*
