Lecture Arabic	8 تَذَكَّرْ يَسُوعَ الـمَسِيحَ الَّذي قَامَ مِنْ بَينِ الأَمْوَات، وهُوَ مِنْ نَسْلِ دَاوُد، بِحَسَبِ إِنْجِيلِي، 9 الَّذي فِيهِ أَحْتَمِلُ الـمَشَقَّاتِ حَتَّىالقُيُودَ كَمُجْرِم، لـكِنَّ كَلِمَةَ اللهِ لا تُقَيَّد. 10 لِذـلِكَ أَصْبِرُ على كُلِّ شَيْءٍ مِنْ أَجْلِ الـمُخْتَارِين، لِيَحْصَلُوا هُم أَيْضًا على الـخَلاصِ في الـمَسِيحِ يَسُوعَ مَعَ الـمَجْدِ الأَبَدِيّ. 11 صَادِقَةٌ هِيَ الكَلِمَة: إِنْ مُتْنَا مَعَهُ نَحْيَ مَعَهُ، 12 وإِنْ صَبَرْنَا نَمْلِكْ مَعَهُ، وإِنْ أَنْكَرْنَاهُ يُنْكِرْنَا، 13 وإِنْ كُنَّا غَيرَ أُمَنَاءَ فَهُوَ يَبْقَى أَمِينًا، لأَنَّهُ لا يَقْدِرُ أَنْ يُنْكِرَ نَفْسَهُ!
Evangile Arabic	13 وَفي اليَوْمِ عَينِهِ، كانَ اثْنَانِ مِنْهُم ذَاهِبَيْنِ إِلَى قَرْيَةٍ تُدْعَى عِمَّاوُس، تَبْعُدُ نَحْوَ سَبْعَةِ أَمْيَالٍ عَنْ أُورَشَلِيم. 14 وَكانَا يَتَحَادَثَانِ بِكُلِّ تِلْكَ الأُمُورِ الَّتِي حَدَثَتْ. 15 وفيمَا هُمَا يَتَحَادَثَانِ وَيَتَسَاءَلان، إِذَا يَسُوعُ نَفْسُهُ قَدِ اقْتَرَبَ مِنْهُمَا، وَرَاحَ يَسِيرُ مَعَهُمَا. 16 ولـكِنَّ أَعْيُنَهُمَا أُمْسِكَتْ عَنْ مَعْرِفَتِهِ. 17 أَمَّا هُوَ فَقَالَ لَهُمَا: "مَا هـذَا الكَلامُ الَّذي تَتَحَادَثَانِ بِهِ، وَأَنْتُمَا تَسِيرَان؟". فَوَقَفَا عَابِسَين. 18 وَأَجَابَ أَحَدُهُمَا، واسْمُهُ كِلْيُوبَاس، فَقَالَ لَهُ: "هَلْ أَنْتَ وَحْدَكَ غَرِيبٌ عَنْ أُورَشَلِيم، فَلا تَعْلَمَ مَا حَدَثَ فِيهَا هـذِهِ الأَيَّام؟". 19 فَقَالَ لَهُمَا: "ومَا هِيَ؟". فَقَالا لَهُ: "مَا يَتَعَلَّقُ بِيَسُوعَ النَّاصِرِيّ، الَّذي كَانَ رَجُلاً نَبِيًّا قَوِيًّا بِالقَوْلِ وَالفِعْل، قُدَّامَ اللهِ وَالشَّعْبِ كُلِّهِ. 20 وكَيْفَ أَسْلَمَهُ أَحْبَارُنا وَرُؤَسَاؤُنَا لِيُحْكَمَ عَلَيْهِ بِالـمَوْت، وَكَيْفَ صَلَبُوه! 21 وكُنَّا نَحْنُ نَرْجُو أَنْ يَكُونَ هُوَ الَّذي سَيَفْدِي إِسْرَائِيل. وَلـكِنْ مَعَ هـذَا كُلِّهِ، فَهـذَا هُوَ اليَوْمُ الثَّالِثُ بَعْدَ تِلْكَ الأَحْدَاث. 22 لـكِنَّ بَعْضَ النِّسَاءِ مِنْ جَمَاعَتِنَا أَدْهَشْنَنَا، لأَنَّهُنَّ ذَهَبْنَ إِلَى القَبْرِ عِنْدَ الفَجْر، 23 وَلَمْ يَجِدْنَ جَسَدَ يَسُوع، فَرَجَعْنَ وَقُلْنَ إِنَّهُنَّ شَاهَدْنَ مَلائِكَةً تَرَاءَوْا لَهُنَّ وَقَالُوا إِنَّهُ حَيّ! 24 ومَضَى قَوْمٌ مِنَ الَّذِينَ مَعَنَا إِلى القَبْر، فَوَجَدُوهُ هـكذَا كَمَا قَالَتِ النِّسَاء، وَأَمَّا يَسُوعُ فَلَمْ يَرَوْه". 25 فقَالَ لَهُمَا يَسُوع: "يَا عَدِيـمَيِ الفَهْم، وَبَطِيئَيِ القَلْبِ في الإِيْمَانِ بِكُلِّ مَا تَكَلَّمَ بِهِ الأَنْبِيَاء! 26 أَمَا كَانَ يَجِبُ عَلَى الـمَسِيحِ أَنْ يُعَانِيَ تِلْكَ الآلام، ثُمَّ يَدْخُلَ في مَجْدِهِ؟". 27 وَفَسَّرَ لَهُمَا مَا يَتَعَلَّقُ بِهِ في كُلِّ الكُتُبِ الـمُقَدَّسَة، مُبْتَدِئًا بِمُوسَى وَجَمِيعِ الأَنْبِيَاء. 28 واقْتَرَبَا مِنَ القَرْيَةِ الَّتي كَانَا ذَاهِبَيْنِ إِلَيْهَا، فتَظَاهَرَ يَسُوعُ بِأَنَّهُ ذَاهِبٌ إِلى مَكَانٍ أَبْعَد. 29 فَتَمَسَّكَا بِهِ قَائِلَين: "أُمْكُثْ مَعَنَا، فَقَدْ حَانَ الـمَسَاء، وَمَالَ النَّهَار". فَدَخَلَ لِيَمْكُثَ مَعَهُمَا. 30 وفِيمَا كَانَ مُتَّكِئًا مَعَهُمَا، أَخَذَ الـخُبْزَ، وبَارَكَ، وَكَسَرَ، ونَاوَلَهُمَا. 31 فانْفَتَحَتْ أَعْيُنُهُمَا، وَعَرَفَاهُ، فَإِذَا هُوَ قَدْ تَوَارَى عَنْهُمَا. 32 فَقَالَ أَحَدُهُمَا لِلآخَر: "أَمَا كَانَ قَلْبُنَا مُضْطَرِمًا فِينَا، حِينَ كَانَ يُكَلِّمُنَا في الطَّرِيق، وَيَشْرَحُ لَنَا الكُتُب؟". 33 وقَامَا في تِلْكَ السَّاعَةِ عَيْنِهَا، وَرَجَعَا إِلَى أُورَشَلِيم، فَوَجَدَا الأَحَدَ عَشَرَ وَالَّذِينَ مَعَهُم مُجْتَمِعِين، 34 وَهُم يَقُولُون: "حَقًّا إِنَّ الرَّبَّ قَام، وتَرَاءَى لِسِمْعَان!". 35 أَمَّا هُمَا فَكانَا يُخْبِرانِ بِمَا حَدَثَ في الطَّرِيق، وَكَيْفَ عَرَفَا يَسُوعَ عِنْدَ كَسْرِ الـخُبْز.

Lecture French	08 Souviens-toi de Jésus Christ, ressuscité d’entre les morts, le descendant de David : voilà mon évangile. 09 C’est pour lui que j’endure la souffrance, jusqu’à être enchaîné comme un malfaiteur. Mais on n’enchaîne pas la parole de Dieu ! 10 C’est pourquoi je supporte tout pour ceux que Dieu a choisis, afin qu’ils obtiennent, eux aussi, le salut qui est dans le Christ Jésus, avec la gloire éternelle. 11 Voici une parole digne de foi : Si nous sommes morts avec lui, avec lui nous vivrons. 12 Si nous supportons l’épreuve, avec lui nous régnerons. Si nous le rejetons, lui aussi nous rejettera. 13 Si nous manquons de foi, lui reste fidèle à sa parole, car il ne peut se rejeter lui-même.
Evangile French	13 Le même jour, deux disciples faisaient route vers un village appelé Emmaüs, à deux heures de marche de Jérusalem, 14 et ils parlaient entre eux de tout ce qui s’était passé. 15 Or, tandis qu’ils s’entretenaient et s’interrogeaient, Jésus lui-même s’approcha, et il marchait avec eux. 16 Mais leurs yeux étaient empêchés de le reconnaître. 17 Jésus leur dit : « De quoi discutez-vous en marchant ? » Alors, ils s’arrêtèrent, tout tristes. 18 L’un des deux, nommé Cléophas, lui répondit : « Tu es bien le seul étranger résidant à Jérusalem qui ignore les événements de ces jours-ci. » 19 Il leur dit : « Quels événements ? » Ils lui répondirent : « Ce qui est arrivé à Jésus de Nazareth, cet homme qui était un prophète puissant par ses actes et ses paroles devant Dieu et devant tout le peuple : 20 comment les grands prêtres et nos chefs l’ont livré, ils l’ont fait condamner à mort et ils l’ont crucifié. 21 Nous, nous espérions que c’était lui qui allait délivrer Israël. Mais avec tout cela, voici déjà le troisième jour qui passe depuis que c’est arrivé. 22 À vrai dire, des femmes de notre groupe nous ont remplis de stupeur. Quand, dès l’aurore, elles sont allées au tombeau, 23 elles n’ont pas trouvé son corps ; elles sont venues nous dire qu’elles avaient même eu une vision : des anges, qui disaient qu’il est vivant. 24 Quelques-uns de nos compagnons sont allés au tombeau, et ils ont trouvé les choses comme les femmes l’avaient dit ; mais lui, ils ne l’ont pas vu. » 25 Il leur dit alors : « Esprits sans intelligence ! Comme votre cœur est lent à croire tout ce que les prophètes ont dit ! 26 Ne fallait-il pas que le Christ souffrît cela pour entrer dans sa gloire ? » 27 Et, partant de Moïse et de tous les Prophètes, il leur interpréta, dans toute l’Écriture, ce qui le concernait. 28 Quand ils approchèrent du village où ils se rendaient, Jésus fit semblant d’aller plus loin. 29 Mais ils s’efforcèrent de le retenir : « Reste avec nous, car le soir approche et déjà le jour baisse. » Il entra donc pour rester avec eux. 30 Quand il fut à table avec eux, ayant pris le pain, il prononça la bénédiction et, l’ayant rompu, il le leur donna. 31 Alors leurs yeux s’ouvrirent, et ils le reconnurent, mais il disparut à leurs regards. 32 Ils se dirent l’un à l’autre : « Notre cœur n’était-il pas brûlant en nous, tandis qu’il nous parlait sur la route et nous ouvrait les Écritures ? » 33 À l’instant même, ils se levèrent et retournèrent à Jérusalem. Ils y trouvèrent réunis les onze Apôtres et leurs compagnons, qui leur dirent : 34 « Le Seigneur est réellement ressuscité : il est apparu à Simon-Pierre. » 35 À leur tour, ils racontaient ce qui s’était passé sur la route, et comment le Seigneur s’était fait reconnaître par eux à la fraction du pain.

Lecture English	8 * Remember Jesus Christ, raised from the dead, a descendant of David: such is my gospel,f 9 for which I am suffering, even to the point of chains, like a criminal. But the word of God is not chained.g 10 Therefore, I bear with everything for the sake of those who are chosen, so that they too may obtain the salvation that is in Christ Jesus, together with eternal glory.h 11 This saying is trustworthy: If we have died with him we shall also live with him;i 12 if we persevere we shall also reign with him. But if we deny him he will deny us.j 13 If we are unfaithful he remains faithful, for he cannot deny himself.k
Evangile English	13 Now that very day two of them were going to a village seven miles* from Jerusalem called Emmaus,i 14 and they were conversing about all the things that had occurred. 15 And it happened that while they were conversing and debating, Jesus himself drew near and walked with them, 16 * j but their eyes were prevented from recognizing him. 17 He asked them, “What are you discussing as you walk along?” They stopped, looking downcast. 18 One of them, named Cleopas, said to him in reply, “Are you the only visitor to Jerusalem who does not know of the things that have taken place there in these days?” 19 And he replied to them, “What sort of things?” They said to him, “The things that happened to Jesus the Nazarene, who was a prophet mighty in deed and word before God and all the people,k 20 how our chief priests and rulers both handed him over to a sentence of death and crucified him. 21 l But we were hoping that he would be the one to redeem Israel; and besides all this, it is now the third day since this took place. 22 m Some women from our group, however, have astounded us: they were at the tomb early in the morning 23 and did not find his body; they came back and reported that they had indeed seen a vision of angels who announced that he was alive. 24 n Then some of those with us went to the tomb and found things just as the women had described, but him they did not see.” 25 o And he said to them, “Oh, how foolish you are! How slow of heart to believe all that the prophets spoke! 26 Was it not necessary that the Messiah should suffer* these things and enter into his glory?” 27 Then beginning with Moses and all the prophets, he interpreted to them what referred to him in all the scriptures.p 28 As they approached the village to which they were going, he gave the impression that he was going on farther. 29 But they urged him, “Stay with us, for it is nearly evening and the day is almost over.” So he went in to stay with them. 30 And it happened that, while he was with them at table, he took bread, said the blessing, broke it, and gave it to them. 31 With that their eyes were opened and they recognized him, but he vanished from their sight. 32 Then they said to each other, “Were not our hearts burning [within us] while he spoke to us on the way and opened the scriptures to us?” 33 So they set out at once and returned to Jerusalem where they found gathered together the eleven and those with them 34 who were saying, “The Lord has truly been raised and has appeared to Simon!”q 35 Then the two recounted what had taken place on the way and how he was made known to them in the breaking of the bread.
