Lecture Arabic	1 مِنْ بُولُسَ وسِلْوانُسَ وطِيمُوتَاوُسَ إِلى كنِيسَةِ التَّسَالُونِيكيِّينَ الَّتِي في اللهِ الآبِ والرَّبِّ يَسُوعَ الـمَسيح: أَلنِّعْمَةُ لَكُم والسَّلام! 2 نَشْكُرُ اللهَ دائِمًا مِنْ أَجْلِكُم جَمِيعًا، ونَذْكُرُكُم في صَلَواتِنَا بِغَيْرِ انْقِطاع. 3 ونتَذَكَّرُ في حَضْرةِ إِلـهِنَا وأَبِينَا عَمَلَ إِيْمَانِكُم، وتَعَبَ مَحَبَّتِكُم، وثَبَاتَ رَجَائِكُم، كَمَا في رَبِّنَا يَسُوعَ الـمَسِيح. 4 ونَعْلَم، أَيُّهَا الإِخْوَة، أَحِبَّاءُ الله، أَنَّ اللهَ اخْتَارَكُم؛ 5 لأَنَّ إِنْجِيلَنَا لَمْ يَصِرْ إِلَيْكُم بِالكَلامِ وحَسْب، بَلْ أَيضًا بِالقُوَّةِ وبِالرُّوحِ القُدُسِ وَبِمِلْءِ اليَقِين، وأَنتُم تَعْلَمُونَ كَيْفَ كُنَّا بَيْنَكُم مِن أَجْلِكُم. 6 فَقَدْ صِرْتُم تَقْتَدُونَ بِنَا وبِالرَّبّ، إِذ قَبِلْتُمُ الكَلِمَة، في وَسَطِ ضِيقَاتٍ كَثِيرة، بِفَرَحِ الرُّوحِ القُدُس، 7 حَتَّى صِرْتُم مِثَالاً لِجَمِيعِ الـمُؤْمِنينَ في مَقْدُونِيَةَ وأَخَائِيَة؛ 8 لأَنَّهَا مِنْكُم ذَاعَتْ كَلِمَةُ الرَّبّ، لا في مَقْدُونِيَةَ وأَخَائِيَةَ وحَسْب، بَلْ في كُلِّ مَكَانٍ انتَشَر إِيْمَانُكُم بِالله، حتَّى لَمْ يَعُدْ بِنَا حَاجَةٌ إِلى أَنْ نَقُولَ في ذـلِكَ شَيْئًا. 9 فَهُم أَنْفُسُهُم يُخْبِرُونَ عَنَّا كَيْفَ كَانَ دُخُولُنَا إِلَيْكُم، وكَيْفَ رَجَعْتُم عَنِ الأَوْثَانِ إِلى الله، لِكَي تَعْبُدُوا اللهَ الـحَيَّ الـحَقّ، 10 وتَنْتَظِرُوا مِنَ السَّمَاواتِ ابْنَهُ، الَّذي أَقَامَهُ مِنْ بَينِ الأَمْوَات، يَسُوع، مُنَجِّينَا مِنَ الغَضَبِ الآتي.
Evangile Arabic	1 وفيمَا كانَ الـجَمْعُ مُزْدَحِمًا على يَسُوعَ يُصْغِي إِلىكَلِمَةِ الله، وكَانَ يَسُوعُ واقِفًا على شَاطِئِ بُحَيْرَةِ جِنَّاشَر، 2 رأَى سَفِينَتَيْنِ راسِيَتَيْنِ عِنْدَ الشَّاطِئ، وقَدْ نَزَلَ مِنْهُمَا الصَّـيَّادُونَ يَغْسِلُونَ الشِّبَاك. 3 فَصَعِدَ إِلى إِحْدَى السَّفينَتَيْن، وكَانَتْ لِسِمْعَان، وسَأَلَهُ أَنْ يَبتَعِدَ قَليلاً عَنِ البَرّ، ثُمَّ جَلَسَ يُعَلِّمُ الـجُمُوعَ مِنَ السَّفِينَة. 4 ولَمَّا فَرَغَ مِنَ الكَلام، قالَ لِسِمْعَان: "إِبْتَعِدْ إِلى العُمْق، وأَلْقُوا شِباكَكُم لِلصَّيْد". 5 فأَجَابَ سِمْعَانُ وقَالَ لَهُ: "يا مُعَلِّم، قَدْ تَعِبْنَا اللَّيْلَ كُلَّهَ ولَمْ نُصِبْ شَيْئًا! وَلـكِنْ لأَجْلِ كَلِمَتِكَ أُلْقِي الشِّبَاك". 6 ولَمَّا فَعَلُوا ذـلِكَ ضَبَطُوا سَمَكًا كَثيرًا جِدًّا، وأَخَذَتْ شِبَاكُهُم تَتَمَزَّق. 7 فأَشَارُوا إِلى شُرَكائِهِم في السَّفِينَةِ الأُخْرَى، لِيَأْتُوا وَيُسَاعِدُوهُم. فَأَتَوا وَمَلأُوا السَّفينَتَيْنِ حَتَّى أَخَذَتَا تَغْرَقَان. 8 وَرأَى ذـلِكَ سِمْعَانُ بُطْرُسُ فارْتَمَى عِنْدَ رُكْبَتَي يَسُوعَ قائِلاً: "تبَاعَدْ عَنِّي، يا رَبّ، فَإنِّي رَجُلٌ خَاطِئ!"؛ 9 لأَنَّ الذُّهُولَ كانَ اعْتَرَاهُ هُوَ وجَمِيعَ مَنْ مَعَهُ، لِمَا أَصَابُوهُ مِنْ صَيْدِ السَّمَك. 10 وهـكذَا كانَ لِيَعْقُوبَ ويُوحَنَّا ابنَي زَبَدَى، اللَّذَينِ كانَا شَريكَيْنِ لِسِمْعَان. فقَالَ يَسُوعُ لِسِمْعَان: "لا تَخَفْ! مِنَ الآنَ تَكُونُ صَيَّادًا لِلنَّاس". 11 ولَمَّا عَادُوا بِالسَّفينَةِ إِلى البَرّ، تَرَكُوا كُلَّ شَيء، وتَبِعُوا يَسُوع.

Lecture French	01 PAUL, SILVAIN ET TIMOTHEE, à l’Église de Thessalonique qui est en Dieu le Père et dans le Seigneur Jésus Christ. À vous, la grâce et la paix. 02 À tout moment, nous rendons grâce à Dieu au sujet de vous tous, en faisant mémoire de vous dans nos prières. Sans cesse, 03 nous nous souvenons que votre foi est active, que votre charité se donne de la peine, que votre espérance tient bon en notre Seigneur Jésus Christ, en présence de Dieu notre Père. 04 Nous le savons, frères bien-aimés de Dieu, vous avez été choisis par lui. 05 En effet, notre annonce de l’Évangile n’a pas été, chez vous, simple parole, mais puissance, action de l’Esprit Saint, pleine certitude : vous savez comment nous nous sommes comportés chez vous pour votre bien. 06 Et vous-mêmes, en fait, vous nous avez imités, nous et le Seigneur, en accueillant la Parole au milieu de bien des épreuves, avec la joie de l’Esprit Saint. 07 Ainsi vous êtes devenus un modèle pour tous les croyants de Macédoine et de Grèce. 08 Et ce n’est pas seulement en Macédoine et en Grèce qu’à partir de chez vous la parole du Seigneur a retenti, mais la nouvelle de votre foi en Dieu s’est si bien répandue partout que nous n’avons pas besoin d’en parler. 09 En effet, les gens racontent, à notre sujet, l’accueil que nous avons reçu chez vous ; ils disent comment vous vous êtes convertis à Dieu en vous détournant des idoles, afin de servir le Dieu vivant et véritable, 10 et afin d’attendre des cieux son Fils qu’il a ressuscité d’entre les morts, Jésus, qui nous délivre de la colère qui vient.
Evangile French	01 Or, la foule se pressait autour de Jésus pour écouter la parole de Dieu, tandis qu’il se tenait au bord du lac de Génésareth. 02 Il vit deux barques qui se trouvaient au bord du lac ; les pêcheurs en étaient descendus et lavaient leurs filets. 03 Jésus monta dans une des barques qui appartenait à Simon, et lui demanda de s’écarter un peu du rivage. Puis il s’assit et, de la barque, il enseignait les foules. 04 Quand il eut fini de parler, il dit à Simon : « Avance au large, et jetez vos filets pour la pêche. » 05 Simon lui répondit : « Maître, nous avons peiné toute la nuit sans rien prendre ; mais, sur ta parole, je vais jeter les filets. » 06 Et l’ayant fait, ils capturèrent une telle quantité de poissons que leurs filets allaient se déchirer. 07 Ils firent signe à leurs compagnons de l’autre barque de venir les aider. Ceux-ci vinrent, et ils remplirent les deux barques, à tel point qu’elles enfonçaient. 08 A cette vue, Simon-Pierre tomba aux genoux de Jésus, en disant : « Éloigne-toi de moi, Seigneur, car je suis un homme pécheur. » 09 En effet, un grand effroi l’avait saisi, lui et tous ceux qui étaient avec lui, devant la quantité de poissons qu’ils avaient pêchés ; 10 et de même Jacques et Jean, fils de Zébédée, les associés de Simon. Jésus dit à Simon : « Sois sans crainte, désormais ce sont des hommes que tu prendras. » 11 Alors ils ramenèrent les barques au rivage et, laissant tout, ils le suivirent.

Thanksgiving for Their Faith. 2 We give thanks to God always for all of you, remembering you in our prayers, unceasinglyb 3 calling to mind your work of faith and labor of love and endurance in hope* of our Lord Jesus Christ, before our God and Father, 4 knowing, brothers loved by God, how you were chosen.c 5 For our gospel did not come to you in word alone, but also in power and in the holy Spirit and [with] much conviction. You know what sort of people we were [among] you for your sake.d 6 And you became imitators* of us and of the Lord, receiving the word in great affliction, with joy from the holy Spirit, 7 so that you became a model for all the believers in Macedonia and in Achaia.e 8 For from you the word of the Lord has sounded forth not only in Macedonia and [in] Achaia, but in every place your faith in God has gone forth, so that we have no need to say anything.f 9 For they themselves openly declare about us what sort of reception we had among you, and how you turned to God from idols to serve the living and true Godg 10 and to await his Son from heaven, whom he raised from [the] dead, Jesus, who delivers us from the coming wrath.h
Evangile English	1 b While the crowd was pressing in on Jesus and listening to the word of God, he was standing by the Lake of Gennesaret. 2 He saw two boats there alongside the lake; the fishermen had disembarked and were washing their nets. 3 Getting into one of the boats, the one belonging to Simon, he asked him to put out a short distance from the shore. Then he sat down and taught the crowds from the boat. 4 c After he had finished speaking, he said to Simon, “Put out into deep water and lower your nets for a catch.” 5 Simon said in reply, “Master, we have worked hard all night and have caught nothing, but at your command I will lower the nets.” 6 When they had done this, they caught a great number of fish and their nets were tearing. 7 They signaled to their partners in the other boat to come to help them. They came and filled both boats so that they were in danger of sinking. 8 When Simon Peter saw this, he fell at the knees of Jesus and said, “Depart from me, Lord, for I am a sinful man.” 9 For astonishment at the catch of fish they had made seized him and all those with him, 10 and likewise James and John, the sons of Zebedee, who were partners of Simon. Jesus said to Simon, “Do not be afraid; from now on you will be catching men.”d 11 When they brought their boats to the shore, they left everything* and followed him.e
