Lecture Arabic	1 وأَنْتُم، فقَدْ كُنْتُمْ أَمْوَاتًا بِزَلاَّتِكُم وخَطَايَاكُم، 2 الَّتي سَلَكْتُم فيهَا مِنْ قَبْلُ بِحَسَبِ إِلـهِ هـذَا العَالَم، بِحَسَبِ رَئِيسِ سُلْطَانِ الـجَوّ، أَي الرُّوحِ الَّذي يَعْمَلُ الآنَ في أَبْنَاءِ العُصْيَان؛ 3 ومِنْهُم نَحْنُ أَيْضًا جَمِيعُنَا قَدْ سَلَكْنَا مِنْ قَبْلُ في شَهَواتِ إِنْسَانِنَا الـجَسَدِيّ، عَامِلِينَ بِرَغَبَاتِهِ وأَفكَارِهِ، وكُنَّا بِالطَّبِيعَةِ أَولادَ الغَضَبِ كَالبَاقِين؛ 4 لـكِنَّ الله، وهُوَ الغنِيُّ بِرَحْمَتِهِ، فَلِكَثْرَةِ مَحَبَّتِهِ الَّتي أَحَبَّنَا بِهَا، 5 وقَدْ كُنَّا نَحْنُ أَيْضًا أَمْوَاتًا بِزَلاَّتِنَا، أَحْيَانَا معَ الـمَسِيح، وبِالنِّعْمَةِ أَنْتُم مُخَلَّصُون؛ 6 ومَعَهُ أَقَامَنَا وَأَجْلَسَنَا في السَّمَاوَاتِ في الـمَسِيحِ يَسُوع، 7 لِيُظْهِرَ في الأَجْيَالِ الآتِيَةِ غِنَى نِعْمَتِهِ الفَائِقَة، بِلُطْفِهِ لَنَا في الـمَسِيحِ يَسُوع. 8 فَبِالنِّعمَةِ أَنْتُمْ مُخَلَّصُونَ بِواسِطَةِ الإِيْمَان: وهـذَا لَيْسَ مِنْكُم، إِنَّهُ عَطِيَّةُ الله. 9 ولا هُوَ مِنَ الأَعْمَال، لِئَلاَّ يَفْتَخِرَ أَحَد؛ 10 لأَنَّنَا نَحْنُ صُنْعُهُ، قَدْ خُلِقْنَا في الـمَسِيحِ يَسُوعَ لِلأَعْمَالِ الصَّالِحَة، الَّتي سَبَقَ اللهُ فأَعَدَّهَا لِكَي نَسْلُكَ فيهَا.
Evangile Arabic	15 وبَعْدَ الغَدَاء، قَالَ يَسُوعُ لِسِمْعَانَ بُطْرُس: "يَا سِمْعَانُ بْنَ يُونَا، أَتُحِبُّنِي أَكْثَرَ مِمَّا يُحِبُّنِي هـؤُلاء؟". قَالَ لَهُ: "نَعَم، يَا رَبّ، أَنْتَ تَعْلَمُ أَنِّي أُحِبُّكَ". قَالَ لَهُ يَسُوع: "إِرْعَ حُمْلانِي". 16 قَالَ لَهُ مَرَّةً ثَانِيَةً: "يَا سِمْعَانُ بْنَ يُونَا، أَتُحِبُّنِي؟". قَالَ لَهُ: "نَعَمْ يَا رَبّ، أَنْتَ تَعْلَمُ أَنِّي أُحِبُّكَ". قَالَ لَهُ يَسُوع: "إِرْعَ نِعَاجِي!". 17 قَالَ لَهُ مَرَّةً ثَالِثَة: "يَا سِمْعَانُ بْنَ يُونَا، أَتُحِبُّنِي؟". فَحَزِنَ بُطْرُس، لأَنَّ يَسُوعَ قَالَ لَهُ ثَلاثَ مَرَّات: أَتُحِبُّنِي؟ فَقَالَ لَهُ: "يَا رَبّ، أَنْتَ تَعْلَمُ كُلَّ شَيء، وَأَنْتَ تَعْرِفُ أَنِّي أُحِبُّكَ". قَالَ لَهُ يَسُوع: "إِرْعَ خِرَافِي! 18 أَلـحَقَّ الـحَقَّ أَقُولُ لَكَ: حِينَ كُنْتَ شَابًّا، كُنْتَ تَشُدُّ حِزَامَكَ بِيَدَيْكَ وتَسِيرُ إِلى حَيْثُ تُرِيد. ولـكِنْ حِينَ تَشِيخ، سَتَبْسُطُ يَدَيْكَ وآخَرُ يَشُدُّ لَكَ حِزامَكَ، ويَذْهَبُ بِكَ إِلى حَيْثُ لا تُرِيد". 19 قَالَ يَسُوعُ ذـلِكَ مُشيرًا إِلى الـمِيتَةِ الَّتِي سَيُمَجِّدُ بِهَا بُطْرُسُ الله. ثُمَّ قَالَ لَهُ: "إِتْبَعْنِي!".

Lecture French	01 Et vous, vous étiez des morts, par suite des fautes et des péchés 02 qui marquaient autrefois votre conduite, soumise aux forces mauvaises de ce monde, au prince du mal qui s’interpose entre le ciel et nous, et dont le souffle est maintenant à l’œuvre en ceux qui désobéissent à Dieu. 03 Et nous aussi, nous étions tous de ceux-là, quand nous vivions suivant les convoitises de notre chair, cédant aux caprices de la chair et des pensées, nous qui étions, de par nous-mêmes, voués à la colère comme tous les autres. 04 Mais Dieu est riche en miséricorde ; à cause du grand amour dont il nous a aimés, 05 nous qui étions des morts par suite de nos fautes, il nous a donné la vie avec le Christ : c’est bien par grâce que vous êtes sauvés. 06 Avec lui, il nous a ressuscités et il nous a fait siéger aux cieux, dans le Christ Jésus. 07 Il a voulu ainsi montrer, au long des âges futurs, la richesse surabondante de sa grâce, par sa bonté pour nous dans le Christ Jésus. 08 C’est bien par la grâce que vous êtes sauvés, et par le moyen de la foi. Cela ne vient pas de vous, c’est le don de Dieu. 09 Cela ne vient pas des actes : personne ne peut en tirer orgueil. 10 C’est Dieu qui nous a faits, il nous a créés dans le Christ Jésus, en vue de la réalisation d’œuvres bonnes qu’il a préparées d’avance pour que nous les pratiquions.
Evangile French	15 Quand ils eurent mangé, Jésus dit à Simon-Pierre : « Simon, fils de Jean, m’aimes-tu vraiment, plus que ceux-ci ? » Il lui répond : « Oui, Seigneur ! Toi, tu le sais : je t’aime. » Jésus lui dit : « Sois le berger de mes agneaux. » 16 Il lui dit une deuxième fois : « Simon, fils de Jean, m’aimes-tu vraiment ? » Il lui répond : « Oui, Seigneur ! Toi, tu le sais : je t’aime. » Jésus lui dit : « Sois le pasteur de mes brebis. » 17 Il lui dit, pour la troisième fois : « Simon, fils de Jean, m’aimes-tu ? » Pierre fut peiné parce que, la troisième fois, Jésus lui demandait : « M’aimes-tu ? » Il lui répond : « Seigneur, toi, tu sais tout : tu sais bien que je t’aime. » Jésus lui dit : « Sois le berger de mes brebis. 18 Amen, amen, je te le dis : quand tu étais jeune, tu mettais ta ceinture toi-même pour aller là où tu voulais ; quand tu seras vieux, tu étendras les mains, et c’est un autre qui te mettra ta ceinture, pour t’emmener là où tu ne voudrais pas aller. » 19 Jésus disait cela pour signifier par quel genre de mort Pierre rendrait gloire à Dieu. Sur ces mots, il lui dit : « Suis-moi. »

Lecture English	1 a You were dead in your transgressions and sins* 2 in which you once lived following the age of this world,* following the ruler of the power of the air, the spirit that is now at work in the disobedient.b 3 All of us once lived among them in the desires of our flesh, following the wishes of the flesh and the impulses, and we were by nature children of wrath, like the rest.c 4 But God, who is rich in mercy, because of the great love he had for us, 5 d even when we were dead in our transgressions, brought us to life with Christ* (by grace you have been saved), 6 raised us up with him, and seated us with him in the heavens in Christ Jesus,e 7 that in the ages to come he might show the immeasurable riches of his grace in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus.f 8 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and this is not from you; it is the gift of God;g 9 it is not from works, so no one may boast.h 10 For we are his handiwork, created in Christ Jesus for the good works that God has prepared in advance, that we should live in them.i
Evangile English	15 When they had finished breakfast, Jesus said to Simon Peter,* “Simon, son of John, do you love me more than these?”* He said to him, “Yes, Lord, you know that I love you.” He said to him, “Feed my lambs.” 16 He then said to him a second time, “Simon, son of John, do you love me?” He said to him, “Yes, Lord, you know that I love you.” He said to him, “Tend my sheep.” 17 He said to him the third time, “Simon, son of John, do you love me?” Peter was distressed that he had said to him a third time, “Do you love me?” and he said to him, “Lord, you know everything; you know that I love you.” [Jesus] said to him, “Feed my sheep.i 18 * Amen, amen, I say to you,j when you were younger, you used to dress yourself and go where you wanted; but when you grow old, you will stretch out your hands, and someone else will dress you and lead you where you do not want to go.” 19 He said this signifying by what kind of death he would glorify God. And when he had said this, he said to him, “Follow me.”k
