Lecture Arabic	1 وكَانَ بُطْرُسُ ويُوحَنَّا صَاعِدَيْنِ إِلى الـهَيْكَلِ لِصَلاةِ السَّاعَةِ الثَّالِثَةِ بَعْدَ الظُّهْر، 2 وكَانَ رَجُلٌ أَعْرَجُ مِنْ بَطْنِ أُمِّهِ يُحْمَلُ كُلَّ يَوم، ويُوضَعُ عِنْدَ بَابِ الـهَيْكَل، الَّذِي يُدْعَىالبَابَ الـجَمِيل، لِيَطْلُبَ صَدَقَةً مِنَ الدَّاخِلينَ إِلى الـهَيْكَل. 3 ورَأَى بُطْرُسَ ويُوحَنَّا وهُمَا يَهُمَّانِ بِالدُّخُولِ إِلى الـهَيْكَل، فَأَخَذَ يَتَوَسَّلُ إِلَيْهِمَا لِيَنَالَ صَدَقَة. 4 فَتَفَرَّسَ فِيهِ بُطْرُسُ مَعَ يُوحَنَّا، وقَال: "أُنظُرْ إِلَيْنَا!". 5 وكَانَ الأَعْرَجُ يُرَاقِبُهُمَا مُتَوقِّعًا أَنْ يَنَالَ شَيْئًا مِنْهُمَا. 6 فَقَالَ بُطْرُس: "لا فِضَّةَ عِنْدِي ولا ذَهَب، بَلْ مَا هُوَ لِي إِيَّاهُ أُعْطِيك: بِاسْمِ يَسُوعَ الـمَسيحِ النَّاصِريِّ قُمْ وامْشِ!‍". 7 ثُمَّ أَمْسَكَهُ بِيَدِهِ اليُمْنَى وأَقَامَهُ، وفَجْأَةً تَشَدَّدَتْ قَدَمَاهُ وكَعْبَاه. 8 فَوَثَبَ وَاقِفًا يَمْشِي ودَخَلَ الـهَيْكَلَ مَعَهُمَا، وهُوَ يَمْشِي ويَثِب، ويُسَبِّحُ الله. 9 ورَآهُ الشَّعْبُ كُلُّهُ يَمْشِي ويُسَبِّحُ الله. 10 وكَانُوا يَعْرِفُونَهُ أَنَّهُ هُوَ الَّذِي كَانَ يَجْلِسُ مِنْ أَجْلِ الصَّدَقَةِ عِنْدَ بَابِ الـهَيْكَلِ الـجَمِيل، فَامْتَلأُوا ذُهُولاً ودَهْشَةً مِمَّا حَدَثَ لَهُ.
Evangile Arabic	1 لا يَضْطَرِبْ قَلْبُكُم! آمِنُوا بِاللهِ وآمِنُوا بِي. 2 في بَيْتِ أَبِي مَنَازِلُ كَثِيرَة، وإِلاَّ لَقُلْتُهُ لَكُم. أَنَا ذَاهِبٌ لأُعِدَّ لَكُم مَكَانًا. 3 وإِذَا مَا ذَهَبْتُ وأَعْدَدْتُ لَكُم مَكَانًا، أَعُودُ وآخُذُكُم إِليَّ، لِتَكُونُوا أَنْتُم أَيْضًا حَيْثُ أَكُونُ أَنَا. 4 وأَنْتُم تَعْرِفُونَ الطَّرِيقَ إِلى حَيْثُ أَنَا ذَاهِب". 5 قَالَ لَهُ تُومَا: "يَا رَبّ، لا نَعْلَمُ إِلى أَيْنَ تَذْهَب، فَكَيْفَ نَقْدِرُ أَنْ نَعْرِفَ الطَّريق؟". 6 قَالَ لَهُ يَسُوع: "أَنَا هُوَ الطَّرِيقُ والـحَقُّ والـحَيَاة. لا أَحَدَ يَأْتِي إِلى الآبِ إِلاَّ بِي. 7 إِنْ تَعْرِفُونِي تَعْرِفُوا أَبِي أَيْضًا، وَمِنَ الآنَ تَعْرِفُونَهُ، وقَدْ رَأَيْتُمُوه".

Lecture French	01 Pierre et Jean montaient au Temple pour la prière de l’après-midi, à la neuvième heure. 02 On y amenait alors un homme, infirme de naissance, que l’on installait chaque jour à la porte du Temple, appelée la « Belle-Porte », pour qu’il demande l’aumône à ceux qui entraient. 03 Voyant Pierre et Jean qui allaient entrer dans le Temple, il leur demanda l’aumône. 04 Alors Pierre, ainsi que Jean, fixa les yeux sur lui, et il dit : « Regarde-nous ! » 05 L’homme les observait, s’attendant à recevoir quelque chose de leur part. 06 Pierre déclara : « De l’argent et de l’or, je n’en ai pas ; mais ce que j’ai, je te le donne : au nom de Jésus Christ le Nazaréen, lève-toi et marche. » 07 Alors, le prenant par la main droite, il le releva et, à l’instant même, ses pieds et ses chevilles s’affermirent. 08 D’un bond, il fut debout et il marchait. Entrant avec eux dans le Temple, il marchait, bondissait, et louait Dieu. 09 Et tout le peuple le vit marcher et louer Dieu. 10 On le reconnaissait : c’est bien lui qui était assis à la « Belle-Porte » du Temple pour demander l’aumône. Et les gens étaient frappés de stupeur et désorientés devant ce qui lui était arrivé.
Evangile French	01 Que votre cœur ne soit pas bouleversé : vous croyez en Dieu, croyez aussi en moi. 02 Dans la maison de mon Père, il y a de nombreuses demeures ; sinon, vous aurais-je dit : “Je pars vous préparer une place” ? 03 Quand je serai parti vous préparer une place, je reviendrai et je vous emmènerai auprès de moi, afin que là où je suis, vous soyez, vous aussi. 04 Pour aller où je vais, vous savez le chemin. » 05 Thomas lui dit : « Seigneur, nous ne savons pas où tu vas. Comment pourrions-nous savoir le chemin ? » 06 Jésus lui répond : « Moi, je suis le Chemin, la Vérité et la Vie ; personne ne va vers le Père sans passer par moi. 07 Puisque vous me connaissez, vous connaîtrez aussi mon Père. Dès maintenant vous le connaissez, et vous l’avez vu. »

Lecture English	1 * Now Peter and John were going up to the temple area for the three o’clock hour of prayer.* 2 a And a man crippled from birth was carried and placed at the gate of the temple called “the Beautiful Gate” every day to beg for alms from the people who entered the temple. 3 When he saw Peter and John about to go into the temple, he asked for alms. 4 But Peter looked intently at him, as did John, and said, “Look at us.” 5 He paid attention to them, expecting to receive something from them. 6 * Peter said, “I have neither silver nor gold, but what I do have I give you: in the name of Jesus Christ the Nazorean, [rise and] walk.”b 7 Then Peter took him by the right hand and raised him up, and immediately his feet and ankles grew strong. 8 He leaped up, stood, and walked around, and went into the temple with them, walking and jumping and praising God.c 9 When all the people saw him walking and praising God, 10 they recognized him as the one who used to sit begging at the Beautiful Gate of the temple, and they were filled with amazement and astonishment at what had happened to him.
Evangile English	1 * “Do not let your hearts be troubled. You have faith* in God; have faith also in me. 2 In my Father’s house there are many dwelling places. If there were not, would I have told you that I am going to prepare a place for you? 3 * And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back again and take you to myself, so that where I am you also may be.a 4 Where [I] am going you know the way.”* 5 Thomas said to him, “Master, we do not know where you are going; how can we know the way?” 6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way and the truth* and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.b 7 If you know me, then you will also know my Father.* From now on you do know him and have seen him.”c
