Lecture Arabic	13 ثُمَّ أَقلَعَ بُولُسُ ورَفيقَاهُ مِنْ بَافُس، وأَتَوا إِلى بَرْجَةَ في بَمْفِيلِية، غَيْرَ أَنَّ يُوحَنَّا فَارَقَهُمَا وعَادَ إِلى أُورَشَلِيم. 14 أَمَّا بُولسُ وبَرْنَابَا فَاجْتازا مِن بَرجَة، ووَصَلا إِلى أَنْطَاكِيَةِ بِيسِيدِيَة، ودَخَلا الـمَجْمَعَ يَوْمَ السَّبتِ وجَلَسَا. 15 وبَعْدَ قِرَاءَةِ التَّوْرَاةِ والأَنْبِيَاء، أَرْسَلَ رُؤَسَاءُ الـمَجْمَعِ يَقُولُونَ لَهُمَا: "أَيُّهَا الرَّجُلانِ الأَخَوَان، إِنْ كَانَ لَدَيْكُمَا كَلِمَةُ تَشْجِيعٍ لِلشَّعب، فتَكَلَّمَا". 16 فَقَامَ بُولُسُ وأَشَارَ بِيَدِهِ وقَال: "أَيُّها الرِّجَالُ بَنُو إِسْرَائِيل، ويا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ يتَّقُونَ الله، اسْمَعُوا: 17 إِنَّ إِلـهَ إِسْرَائِيلَ هـذَا اخْتارَ آبَاءَنَا، ورَفَعَ شَأْنَ هـذَا الشَّعْبِ في غُرْبَتِهِ في أَرْضِ مِصْر، وأَخْرَجَهُم مِنْهَا بِذِراعٍ مُرْتَفِعَة. 18 وأَعَالَهُم في البَرِّيَّةِ نَحْوَ أَربَعينَ سَنَة. 19 وأَبَادَ سَبْعَ أُمَمٍ في أَرْضِ كَنْعَان، ووَزَّعَ علَيْهِم أَرْضَها مِيراثًا، 20 مُدَّةَ أَربَعِ مِئَةٍ وخَمْسينَ سَنَة. ثُمَّ أَعْطَاهُم قُضَاةً حتَّى صَمُوئِيلَ النَّبِيّ. 21 وبَعْدَ ذـ لِكَ طَلَبُوا مَلِكًا فأَعْطَاهُمُ اللهُ شَاوُلَ بْنَ قَيْس، رجُلاً مِنْ سِبْطِ بِنْيَامِين، مُدَّةَ أَرْبَعينَ سَنَة. 22 ثُمَّ عَزَلَهُ وأَقَامَ لَهُم دَاوُدَ مَلِكًا، وشَهِدَ لَهُ بِقَوْلِهِ: وَجَدْتُ دَاوُدَ بْنَ يَسَّى رَجُلاً على حَسَبِ قَلْبِي، وهُوَ سَيَعْمَلُ كُلَّ مَا أَشَاء. 23 ومِنْ نَسْلِ دَاوُد، بِحَسَبِ الوَعْد، أَقَامَ اللهُ لإِسرائِيلَ يَسُوعَ مُخَلِّصًا. 24 وقَبْلَ مَجِيءِ يَسُوع، سَبَقَ يُوحَنَّا فَكَرَزَ بِمَعْمُودِيَّةِ تَوبَةٍ لِكُلِّ شَعْبِ إِسْرائِيل. 25 ولَمَّا أَوشَكَ يُوحَنَّا أَنْ يُتِمَّ سَعْيَهُ، قَال: "مَنْ تَظُنُّونَ أَنِّي هُوَ؟ أَنَا لَسْتُ مَنْ تَظُنُّون. ولـكِنْ هُوَذا يَأْتي بَعْدي مَنْ لَسْتُ أَهْلاً أَنْ أَحُلَّ رِباطَ حِذَائِهِ!
Evangile Arabic	1 ودنَا الفَرِّيسيُّونَ والصَّدُّوقيُّونَ مِنْ يَسُوعَ لِيُجَرِّبُوه، فَسَأَلُوهُ أَنْ يُريَهُم آيَةً مِنَ السَّمَاء. 2 فَأَجَابَ وقَالَ لَهُم: "عِنْدَ حُلُولِ الـمَسَاءِ تَقُولُون: غَدًا صَحْوٌ! لأَنَّ السَّمَاءَ مُحْمَرَّة. 3 وعِنْدَ الفَجْرِ تَقُولُون: أَليَوْمَ شِتَاء! لأَنَّ السَّمَاءَ مُحْمَرَّةٌ مُكْفَهِرَّة. إِنَّكُم تَعْرِفُونَ أَنْ تُمَيِّزُوا وَجْهَ السَّمَاء، أَمَّا عَلامَاتُ الأَزْمِنَةِ فلا تَقْدِرُونَ أَنْ تُمَيِّزُوهَا. 4 جِيْلٌ شِرِّيرٌ فَاجِرٌ يَطْلُبُ آيَة، ولَنْ يُعْطى آيَةً إِلاَّ آيَةَ يُونَان". ثُمَّ تَرَكَهُم ومَضَى.

Lecture French	13 Paul et ceux qui l’accompagnaient s’embarquèrent à Paphos et arrivèrent à Pergé en Pamphylie. Mais Jean-Marc les abandonna pour s’en retourner à Jérusalem. 14 Quant à eux, ils poursuivirent leur voyage au-delà de Pergé et arrivèrent à Antioche de Pisidie. Le jour du sabbat, ils entrèrent à la synagogue et prirent place. 15 Après la lecture de la Loi et des Prophètes, les chefs de la synagogue leur envoyèrent dire : « Frères, si vous avez une parole d’exhortation pour le peuple, parlez. » 16 Paul se leva, fit un signe de la main et dit : « Israélites, et vous aussi qui craignez Dieu, écoutez : 17 Le Dieu de ce peuple, le Dieu d’Israël a choisi nos pères ; il a fait grandir son peuple pendant le séjour en Égypte et il l’en a fait sortir à bras étendu. 18 Pendant une quarantaine d’années, il les a supportés au désert 19 et, après avoir exterminé tour à tour sept nations au pays de Canaan, il a partagé pour eux ce pays en héritage. 20 Tout cela dura environ quatre cent cinquante ans. Ensuite, il leur a donné des juges, jusqu’au prophète Samuel. 21 Puis ils demandèrent un roi, et Dieu leur donna Saül, fils de Kish, homme de la tribu de Benjamin, pour quarante années. 22 Après l’avoir rejeté, Dieu a, pour eux, suscité David comme roi, et il lui a rendu ce témoignage : J’ai trouvé David, fils de Jessé ; c’est un homme selon mon cœur qui réalisera toutes mes volontés. 23 De la descendance de David, Dieu, selon la promesse, a fait sortir un sauveur pour Israël : c’est Jésus, 24 dont Jean le Baptiste a préparé l’avènement, en proclamant avant lui un baptême de conversion pour tout le peuple d’Israël. 25 Au moment d’achever sa course, Jean disait : “Ce que vous pensez que je suis, je ne le suis pas. Mais le voici qui vient après moi, et je ne suis pas digne de retirer les sandales de ses pieds.”
Evangile French	01 Les pharisiens et les sadducéens s’approchèrent pour mettre Jésus à l’épreuve ; ils lui demandèrent de leur montrer un signe venant du ciel. 02 Il leur répondit : « Quand vient le soir, vous dites : “Voici le beau temps, car le ciel est rouge.” 03 Et le matin, vous dites : “Aujourd’hui, il fera mauvais, car le ciel est d’un rouge menaçant.” Ainsi l’aspect du ciel, vous savez en juger ; mais pour les signes des temps, vous n’en êtes pas capables. 04 Cette génération mauvaise et adultère réclame un signe, mais, en fait de signe, il ne lui sera donné que le signe de Jonas. » Alors il les abandonna et partit.

Lecture English	13 From Paphos, Paul and his companions set sail and arrived at Perga in Pamphylia. But John left them and returned to Jerusalem.a 14 They continued on from Perga and reached Antioch in Pisidia. On the sabbath they entered (into) the synagogue and took their seats. 15 After the reading of the law and the prophets, the synagogue officials sent word to them, “My brothers, if one of you has a word of exhortation for the people, please speak.” Paul’s Address in the Synagogue. 16 * So Paul got up, motioned with his hand, and said, “Fellow Israelites and you others who are God-fearing,* listen. 17 The God of this people Israel chose our ancestors and exalted the people during their sojourn in the land of Egypt.b With uplifted arm he led them out of it 18 and for about forty years he put up with* them in the desert.c 19 When he had destroyed seven nations in the land of Canaan, he gave them their land as an inheritanced 20 at the end of about four hundred and fifty years.* After these things he provided judges up to Samuel [the] prophet.e 21 Then they asked for a king. God gave them Saul, son of Kish, a man from the tribe of Benjamin, for forty years.f 22 Then he removed him and raised up David as their king; of him he testified, ‘I have found David, son of Jesse, a man after my own heart; he will carry out my every wish.’g 23 From this man’s descendants God, according to his promise, has brought to Israel a savior, Jesus.h 24 John heralded his coming by proclaiming a baptism of repentance to all the people of Israel;i 25 and as John was completing his course, he would say, ‘What do you suppose that I am? I am not he. Behold, one is coming after me; I am not worthy to unfasten the sandals of his feet.’j
Evangile English	1 * a The Pharisees and Sadducees came and, to test him, asked him to show them a sign from heaven. 2 * He said to them in reply, “[In the evening you say, ‘Tomorrow will be fair, for the sky is red’; 3 b and, in the morning, ‘Today will be stormy, for the sky is red and threatening.’ You know how to judge the appearance of the sky, but you cannot judge the signs of the times.] 4 c An evil and unfaithful generation seeks a sign, but no sign will be given it except the sign of Jonah.”* Then he left them and went away.
