Lecture Arabic	23 ثُمَّ دَعَا اثْنَيْنِ مِنْ قَادَةِ الـمِئَة، وقَالَ لَهُمَا: "أَعِدَّا لِلذَّهَابِ إِلى قَيْصَرِيَّة، مُنْذُ السَّاعَةِ التَّاسِعَةِ لَيْلاً، مِئَتَي جُنْدِيّ، وَسَبْعِينَ فَارِسًا، وَمِئَتَي رَجُلٍ مِنْ حَامِلِي الرِّمَاح. 24 وأَعِدَّا أَيْضًا خَيْلاً تَحْمِلُ بُولُس، وتَصِلُ بِهِ سَالِمًا إِلى فِيلِكْسَ الوَالي". 25 ثُمَّ كَتَبَ رِسَالَةً هـذَا نَصُّهَا: 26 "مِنْ كلُوديُوسَ لِيسِيَاسَ إِلى فِيلِكْسَ الوَالي الشَّريفِ سَلام! 27 كَانَ اليَهُودُ قَدْ قَبَضُوا عَلى هـذَا الرَّجُل، وأَوْشَكُوا أَنْ يَقْتُلُوه، فتَدَارَكْتُهُ بِالـجُنُودِ وأَنْقَــذْتُـهُ، إِذْ عَلِمْــتُ أَنَّــهُ رُومَانِــيّ. 28 وأَرَدْتُ أَنْ أَعْلَمَ مَا يَشْكُونَهُ بِهِ، فأَحْضَرْتُهُ إِلى مَجْلِسِهِم. 29 فوَجَدْتُ أَنَّهُم يَشْكُونَهُ بِمَسَائِلَ تتَعَلَّقُ بِشَرِيعَتِهِم، وأَنَّهُ لا شَكْوَى عَلَيْهِ تَسْتَوْجِبُ الـمَوْتَ أَوِ القُيُود. 30 ثُمَّ بَلَغَنِي أَنَّ بَعْضًا مِنْهُم يُعِدُّونَ مَكِيدَةً لِهـذَا الرَّجُل، فأَرْسَلْتُهُ إِلَيْك، وأَوْعَزْتُ إِلى الَّذِينَ يَشْكُونَهُ أَنْ يَعْرِضُوا أَمَامَكَ شَكْوَاهُم عَلَيْه. كُنْ مُعَافًى!". 31 ونَفَّذَ الـجُنُودُ مَا أُمِرُوا بِهِ، فَنَقَلُوا بُولُسَ لَيْلاً إِلى مَدينَةِ أَنْتِيبَتْرِيس. 32 وفي الغَد، تَرَكُوا الفُرْسَانَ يَذْهَبُونَ مَعَ بُولُسَ إِلى قَيْصَرِيَّة، وهُمْ عَادُوا إِلى القَلْعَة. 33 ودَخَلَ الفُرْسَانُ قَيصَرِيَّة، فَسَلَّمُوا الرِّسَالَةَ إِلى الوالي، وأَحْضَرُوا بُولُسَ أَمَامَهُ. 34 فقَرَأَ الوَالي الرِّسَالَة، ثَمَّ سَأَلَ مِنْ أَيِّ وِلايَةٍ هُوَ، فَعَلِمَ أَنَّهُ مِنْ وِلايَةِ قِيلِيقِيَة، 35 فقَالَ لَهُ: "سَأَسْتَمِعُ إِلَيْكَ عِنْدَمَا يَحْضُرُ الَّذِينَ يَشْكُونَكَ". وأَمَرَ بِحِرَاسَتِهِ في قَصْرِ هِيرُودُس.
Evangile Arabic	22 وَقَالَ يَسُوعُ لِتَلامِيذِهِ: "لِهـذَا أَقُولُ لَكُم: لا تَهْتَمُّوا لِنَفْسِكُم بِمَا تَأْكُلُون، وَلا لِجَسَدِكُم بِمَا تَلْبَسُون. 23 فالنَّفْسُ أَهَمُّ مِنَ الطَّعَام، وَالـجَسَدُ أَهَمُّ مِنَ اللِّبَاس. 24 تَأَمَّلُوا الغِرْبَان، فَهيَ لا تَزْرَعُ وَلا تَحْصُد، وَلَيْسَ لَهَا مَخَازِنُ وَأَهْرَاء، واللهُ يَقُوتُها. فَكَمْ أَنْتُم بِالـحَرِيِّ أَفْضَلُ مِنَ الطُّيُور؟ 25 وَمَنْ مِنْكُم، إِذَا اهْتَمَّ، يَسْتَطِيعُ أَنْ يُطِيلَ عُمْرَهُ مِقْدارَ ذِرَاع؟ 26 فَإِنْ كُنْتُمْ لا تَسْتَطِيعُونَ القَلِيل، فَلِمَاذَا تَهْتَمُّونَ بِالبَاقِي؟ 27 تَأَمَّلُوا الزَّنَابِقَ كَيْفَ تَنْمُو، وَهيَ لا تَغْزِلُ وَلا تَنْسُج، وَأَقُولُ لَكُم: إِنَّ سُلَيْمَانَ نَفْسَهُ، في كُلِّ مَجْدِهِ، لَمْ يَلْبَسْ كَوَاحِدَةٍ مِنْهَا. 28 فَإِنْ كَانَ العُشْبُ الَّذي يُوجَدُ اليَومَ في الـحَقْل، وَغَدًا يُطْرَحُ في التَّنُّور، يُلْبِسُهُ اللهُ هـكذَا، فَكَمْ بِالأَحْرَى أَنْتُم، يَا قَلِيلِي الإِيْمَان؟ 29 فَأَنْتُم إِذًا، لا تَطْلُبُوا مَا تَأْكُلُون، وَمَا تَشْرَبُون، وَلا تَقْلَقُوا، 30 فَهـذَا كُلُّهُ يَسْعَى إِلَيْهِ الوَثَنِيُّونَ في هـذَا العَالَم، وَأَبُوكُم يَعْلَمُ أَنَّكُم تَحْتَاجُونَ إِلَيْه. 31 بَلِ اطْلُبُوا مَلَكُوتَ الله، وَهـذَا كُلُّهُ يُزَادُ لَكُم.

Lecture French	23 Il appela alors deux centurions et leur dit : « Que deux cents soldats, soixante-dix cavaliers et deux cents auxiliaires se tiennent prêts à prendre la route de Césarée à partir de la troisième heure de la nuit ; 24 qu’on prépare aussi des montures pour transférer Paul en toute sécurité auprès du gouverneur Félix. » 25 Il écrivit une lettre dont voici le contenu : 26 « Claudius Lysias, au Très excellent Félix, gouverneur, salut. 27 L’homme que voici, dont les Juifs se sont emparés, allait être supprimé par eux. Je suis alors intervenu avec la troupe pour le soustraire au danger, ayant appris qu’il est citoyen romain. 28 Voulant connaître le motif pour lequel les Juifs l’accusaient, je l’ai fait comparaître devant leur Conseil suprême. 29 J’ai constaté qu’il était accusé pour des questions relatives à leur Loi, sans aucun chef d’accusation méritant la mort ou la prison. 30 Après dénonciation devant moi d’un complot contre cet homme, je te l’ai envoyé immédiatement, en donnant également aux accusateurs la consigne d’exposer devant toi ce qu’ils ont contre lui. » 31 Les soldats prirent donc Paul conformément aux ordres reçus, et ils le conduisirent de nuit jusqu’à Antipatris. 32 Le lendemain, ils laissèrent partir avec lui les cavaliers et regagnèrent la forteresse. 33 À leur arrivée à Césarée, après avoir remis la lettre au gouverneur, ils lui présentèrent Paul. 34 Le gouverneur lut la lettre et demanda de quelle province il était ; apprenant qu’il était de Cilicie, 35 il dit : « Je t’entendrai quand tes accusateurs se présenteront, eux aussi. » Et il ordonna de l’incarcérer au prétoire d’Hérode.
Evangile French	22 Puis il dit à ses disciples : « C’est pourquoi, je vous dis : À propos de votre vie, ne vous souciez pas de ce que vous mangerez, ni, à propos de votre corps, de quoi vous allez le vêtir. 23 En effet, la vie vaut plus que la nourriture, et le corps plus que le vêtement. 24 Observez les corbeaux : ils ne font ni semailles ni moisson, ils n’ont ni réserves ni greniers, et Dieu les nourrit. Vous valez tellement plus que les oiseaux ! 25 D’ailleurs qui d’entre vous, en se faisant du souci, peut ajouter une coudée à la longueur de sa vie ? 26 Si donc vous n’êtes pas capables de la moindre chose, pourquoi vous faire du souci pour le reste ? 27 Observez les lis : comment poussent-ils ? Ils ne filent pas, ils ne tissent pas. Or je vous le dis : Salomon lui-même, dans toute sa gloire, n’était pas habillé comme l’un d’entre eux. 28 Si Dieu revêt ainsi l’herbe qui aujourd’hui est dans le champ et demain sera jetée dans le feu, il fera tellement plus pour vous, hommes de peu de foi ! 29 Ne cherchez donc pas ce que vous allez manger et boire ; ne soyez pas anxieux. 30 Tout cela, les nations du monde le recherchent, mais votre Père sait que vous en avez besoin. 31 Cherchez plutôt son Royaume, et cela vous sera donné par surcroît.

Lecture English	23 Then he summoned two of the centurions and said, “Get two hundred soldiers ready to go to Caesarea by nine o’clock tonight,* along with seventy horsemen and two hundred auxiliaries. 24 Provide mounts for Paul to ride and give him safe conduct to Felix the governor.” 25 Then he wrote a letter with this content: 26 * “Claudius Lysias to his excellency the governor Felix, greetings.* 27 This man, seized by the Jews and about to be murdered by them, I rescued after intervening with my troops when I learned that he was a Roman citizen.g 28 I wanted to learn the reason for their accusations against him so I brought him down to their Sanhedrin. 29 I discovered that he was accused in matters of controversial questions of their law and not of any charge deserving death or imprisonment.h 30 Since it was brought to my attention that there will be a plot against the man, I am sending him to you at once, and have also notified his accusers to state (their case) against him before you.” 31 So the soldiers, according to their orders, took Paul and escorted him by night to Antipatris. 32 The next day they returned to the compound, leaving the horsemen to complete the journey with him. 33 When they arrived in Caesarea they delivered the letter to the governor and presented Paul to him. 34 When he had read it and asked to what province he belonged, and learned that he was from Cilicia, 35 he said, “I shall hear your case when your accusers arrive.” Then he ordered that he be held in custody in Herod’s praetorium.
Evangile English	22 l He said to [his] disciples, “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life and what you will eat, or about your body and what you will wear. 23 For life is more than food and the body more than clothing. 24 Notice the ravens: they do not sow or reap; they have neither storehouse nor barn, yet God feeds them. How much more important are you than birds!m 25 Can any of you by worrying add a moment to your life-span? 26 If even the smallest things are beyond your control, why are you anxious about the rest? 27 Notice how the flowers grow. They do not toil or spin. But I tell you, not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of them.n 28 If God so clothes the grass in the field that grows today and is thrown into the oven tomorrow, will he not much more provide for you, O you of little faith? 29 As for you, do not seek what you are to eat and what you are to drink, and do not worry anymore. 30 All the nations of the world seek for these things, and your Father knows that you need them. 31 Instead, seek his kingdom, and these other things will be given you besides.
