Lecture Arabic	1 يا إِخْوَتِي، لا يَكُنْ في إِيْمَانِكُم بِرَبِّنَا يَسُوعَ الـمَسِيح، رَبِّ الـمَجْد، مُحابَاةٌ لِلوُجُوه. 2 فَإِنْ دَخَلَ مَجْمَعَكُم رَجُلٌ في إِصْبَعِهِ خَاتَمٌ مِنْ ذَهَب، وعَلَيهِ ثِيَابٌ فَاخِرَة، ثُمَّ دَخَلَ فَقِيرٌ علَيهِ ثِيابٌ رَثَّة، 3 فَالْتَفَتُّم إِلى لابِسِ الثِّيَابِ الفَاخِرَةِ وقُلْتُم لَهُ: "إِجْلِس أَنْتَ هُنَا في صَدْرِ الـمَكَان"، وقُلْتُم لِلفَقِير:" قِفْ أَنْتَ هُنَاك"، أَو :"إِجْلِسْ عِندَ مَوطِئِ قَدَمَيَّ"، 4 أَفَلا تَكُونُونَ قَد مَيَّزْتُم في أَنْفُسِكُم، وصِرْتُم قُضَاةً ذَوِي أَفْكارٍ شِرِّيرَة؟ 5 إِسْمَعُوا، يا إِخْوتِي الأَحِبَّاء: أَمَا اخْتَارَ اللهُ الفُقَراءَ في نَظَرِ العَالَم لِيَجْعَلَهُم أَغْنِياءَ بالإِيْمَان، ووَارِثِينَ لِلمَلَكُوتِ الَّذي وَعَدَ بِهِ الَّذِينَ يُحِبُّونَهُ؟ 6 وأَنتُمُ احْتَقَرْتُمُ الفَقِير! أَلَيْسَ الأَغْنِيَاءُ هُمُ الَّذِينَ يَقْهَرُونَكُم، وهُمُ الَّذِينَ يَجُرُّونَكُم إِلى الـمَحَاكِم؟ 7 أَلَيْسُوا هُمُ الَّذِينَ يُجَدِّفُونَ على الاسْمِ الـحَسَنِ الَّذي دُعِيَ عَلَيْكُم؟ 8 فَإِنْ كُنْتُم تُتِمُّونَ الشَّرِيعَةَ الـمُلُوكِيَّةَ الَّتي نَصَّ عَلَيْهَا الكِتاب، وهِيَ: "أَحْبِبْ قَرِيبَكَ حُبَّكَ لِنَفْسِكَ"، فَحَسَنًا تَفْعَلُون. 9 ولـكِنْ إنْ كُنْتُم تُحابُونَ الوُجُوه، فإِنَّكُم تَرْتَكِبُونَ خَطِيئَة، والشَّرِيعَةُ تُوَبِّخُكُم بِاعْتِبَارِكُم مُخَالِفِين. 10 فَمَن حَفِظَ الشَّرِيعَةَ كُلَّهَا، وزَلَّ بِوَصِيَّةٍ وَاحِدَةٍ مِنْها، صارَ مُذنِبًا في الوَصَايَا كُلِّهَا. 11 فالَّذي قَال: "لا تَزْنِ"، قالَ أَيْضًا: "لا تَقْتُلْ". فَإِنْ كُنْتَ لا تَزْنِي، ولـكِنَّكَ تَقْتُل، فَقَد صِرْتَ مُخَالِفًا لِلشَّرِيعَة. 12 هـكَذا تَكَلَّمُوا، وهـكَذَا اعْمَلُوا، كأُنَاسٍ سَيُدَانُونَ بِشَرِيعةِ الـحُرِّيَّة؛ 13 لأَنَّ الدَّينُونَةَ لا تَرْحَمُ مَنْ لا يَرْحَم. والرَّحْمَةُ تَغْلِبُ الدَّينُونَة.
Evangile Arabic	26 وَكمَا كانَ في أَيَّامِ نُوح، هـكذَا يَكُونُ في أَيَّامِ ابْنِ الإِنْسَان: 27 كانَ النَّاسُ يَأْكُلُونَ وَيَشْرَبُون، وَيَتَزَوَّجُونَ وَيُزَوِّجُون، إِلى يَوْمَ دَخَلَ نُوحٌ السَّفِينَة. فَجَاءَ الطُّوفَانُ وأَهْلَكَهُم أَجْمَعِين. 28 وكَمَا كانَ أَيْضًا في أَيَّامِ لُوط: كانَ النَّاسُ يَأْكُلُونَ وَيَشْرَبُون، وَيَشْتَرُونَ وَيَبيعُون، وَيَغْرِسُونَ وَيَبْنُون. 29 ولـكِنْ يَوْمَ خَرَجَ لُوطٌ مِنْ سَدُوم، أَمْطَرَ اللهُ نَارًا وَكِبْرِيتًا مِنَ السَّمَاءِ فَأَهْلَكَهُم أَجْمَعين. 30 هـكَذَا يَكُونُ يَوْمَ يَظْهَرُ ابْنُ الإِنْسَان.

Lecture French	01 Mes frères, dans votre foi en Jésus Christ, notre Seigneur de gloire, n’ayez aucune partialité envers les personnes. 02 Imaginons que, dans votre assemblée, arrivent en même temps un homme au vêtement rutilant, portant une bague en or, et un pauvre au vêtement sale. 03 Vous tournez vos regards vers celui qui porte le vêtement rutilant et vous lui dites : « Assieds-toi ici, en bonne place » ; et vous dites au pauvre : « Toi, reste là debout », ou bien : « Assieds-toi au bas de mon marchepied ». 04 Cela, n’est-ce pas faire des différences entre vous, et juger selon de faux critères ? 05 Écoutez donc, mes frères bien-aimés ! Dieu, lui, n’a-t-il pas choisi ceux qui sont pauvres aux yeux du monde pour en faire des riches dans la foi, et des héritiers du Royaume promis par lui à ceux qui l’auront aimé ? 06 Mais vous, vous avez privé le pauvre de sa dignité. Or n’est-ce pas les riches qui vous oppriment, et vous traînent devant les tribunaux ? 07 Ce sont eux qui blasphèment le beau nom du Seigneur qui a été invoqué sur vous. 08 Certes, si vous accomplissez la loi du Royaume selon l’Écriture : Tu aimeras ton prochain comme toi-même, vous faites bien. 09 Mais si vous montrez de la partialité envers les personnes, vous commettez un péché, et cette loi vous convainc de transgression. 10 En effet, si quelqu’un observe intégralement la loi, sauf en un seul point sur lequel il trébuche, le voilà coupable par rapport à l’ensemble. 11 En effet, si Dieu a dit : Tu ne commettras pas d’adultère, il a dit aussi : Tu ne commettras pas de meurtre. Donc, si tu ne commets pas d’adultère mais si tu commets un meurtre, te voilà transgresseur de la loi. 12 Parlez et agissez comme des gens qui vont être jugés par une loi de liberté. 13 Car le jugement est sans miséricorde pour celui qui n’a pas fait miséricorde, mais la miséricorde l’emporte sur le jugement.
Evangile French	26 Comme cela s’est passé dans les jours de Noé, ainsi en sera-t-il dans les jours du Fils de l’homme. 27 On mangeait, on buvait, on prenait femme, on prenait mari, jusqu’au jour où Noé entra dans l’arche et où survint le déluge qui les fit tous périr. 28 Il en était de même dans les jours de Loth : on mangeait, on buvait, on achetait, on vendait, on plantait, on bâtissait ; 29 mais le jour où Loth sortit de Sodome, du ciel tomba une pluie de feu et de soufre qui les fit tous périr ; 30 cela se passera de la même manière le jour où le Fils de l’homme se révélera.

Lecture English	1 My brothers, show no partiality as you adhere to the faith in our glorious Lord Jesus Christ. 2 For if a man with gold rings on his fingers and in fine clothes comes into your assembly, and a poor person in shabby clothes also comes in, 3 and you pay attention to the one wearing the fine clothes and say, “Sit here, please,” while you say to the poor one, “Stand there,” or “Sit at my feet,” 4 have you not made distinctions among yourselves and become judges with evil designs?* 5 Listen, my beloved brothers. Did not God choose those who are poor* in the world to be rich in faith and heirs of the kingdom that he promised to those who love him?a 6 But you dishonored the poor person. Are not the rich oppressing you? And do they themselves not haul you off to court? 7 Is it not they who blaspheme the noble name that was invoked over you?b 8 However, if you fulfill the royal* law according to the scripture, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself,” you are doing well.c 9 But if you show partiality, you commit sin, and are convicted by the law as transgressors.d 10 For whoever keeps the whole law, but falls short in one particular, has become guilty in respect to all of it.e 11 For he who said, “You shall not commit adultery,” also said, “You shall not kill.”f Even if you do not commit adultery but kill, you have become a transgressor of the law. 12 g So speak and so act as people who will be judged by the law of freedom.* 13 For the judgment is merciless to one who has not shown mercy; mercy triumphs over judgment.h
Evangile English	26 As it was in the days of Noah,n so it will be in the days of the Son of Man; 27 they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage up to the day that Noah entered the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all. 28 o Similarly, as it was in the days of Lot: they were eating, drinking, buying, selling, planting, building; 29 on the day when Lot left Sodom, fire and brimstone rained from the sky to destroy them all. 30 So it will be on the day the Son of Man is revealed.
