Lecture Arabic	1 مِنْ بولُسَ رَسُولِ الـمَسِيحِ يَسُوع، بِأَمْرِ اللهِ مُخَلِّصِنَا، والـمَسِيحِ يَسُوعَ رَجَائِنَا، 2 إِلى طِيمُوتَاوُسَ الابْنِ الـحَقِيقِيِّ في الإِيْمَان: أَلنِّعْمَةُ والرَّحْمَةُ والسَّلامُ مِنَ اللهِ الآب، والـمَسِيحِ يَسُوعَ رَبِّنَا‍‍! 3 نَاشَدْتُكَ، وأَنَا مُنْطَلِقٌ إِلى مَقْدُونِيَة، أَنْ تُقِيمَ في أَفَسُس، لِتُوصِيَ بَعضًا مِنَ الـنَّاس أَلاَّ يُعَلِّمُوا تَعْلِيْمًا مُخَالِفًا، 4 ولا يُصْغُوا إِلى خُرَافَاتٍ وأَنْسَابٍ لا آخِرَ لَهَا، تُثِيرُ الـمُجَادَلاتِ أَكْثَرَ مِمَّا تَخْدُمُ تَدْبِيرَ اللهِ في الإِيْمَان. 5 أَمَّا غَايَةُ هـذِهِ الوَصِيَّةِ فإِنَّمَا هِيَ الـمَحَبَّةُ بقَلْبٍ طَاهِر، وضَمِيرٍ صَالِح، وإِيْمَانٍ لا رِيَاءَ فيه. 6 وقَد زَاغَ عَنْهَا بَعضُهُم، فَانْحَرَفُوا إِلى الكَلامِ البَاطِل، 7 وأَرادُوا أَنْ يَكُونُوا مُعَلِّمِي الشَّرِيعَة، وهُم لا يُدْرِكُونَ ما يَقُولُونَ ولا مَا يُؤَكِّدُون. 12 أَشْكُرُ الـمَسِيحَ يَسُوعَ رَبَّنَا، الَّذي قَوَّاني، لأَنَّهُ حَسِبَنِي أَمِينًا فَجَعَلَنِي لِلخِدْمَة، 13 أَنَا الَّذي كُنْتُ مِنْ قَبْلُ مُجَدِّفًا ومُضْطَهِدًا وشَتَّامًا، لـكِنَّ اللهَ رَحِمَنِي، لأَنِّي فَعَلْتُ ذـلِكَ وأَنَا جَاهِلٌ غَيرُ مُؤْمِن. 14 لَقَد فَاضَتْ عَلَيَّ نِعْمَةُ رَبِّنَا معَ الإِيْمَانِ والـمَحَبَّةِ الَّتِي في الْمَسِيحِ يَسُوع. 15 صَادِقَةٌ هِيَ الكَلِمَةُ وجَدِيرَةٌ بكُلِّ قَبُول: أَنَّ الـمَسِيحَ يَسُوعَ جَاءَ إِلى العَالَمِ لِيُخَلِّصَ الـخَطأَة، وَأَوَّلُهُم أَنَا. 16 لـكِنَّ الـمَسِيحَ يَسُوعَ رَحِمَنِي، لِيُظْهِرَ كُلَّ أَنَاتِهِ فِيَّ أَنَا أَوَّلاً، مِثَالاً للَّذِينَ سَيُؤمِنُونَ بِهِ لِلحَياةِ الأَبَدِيَّة. 17 فَلِمَلِكِ الدُّهُورِ الـخَالِدِ غَيرِ الـمَنْظُور، الإِلـهِ الوَاحِد، الكرَامَةُ والـمَجْدُ إِلى أَبَدِ الآبِدِين. آمين!
Evangile Arabic	43 سَمِعْتُم أَنَّه قِيل: أَحْبِبْ قَريبَكَ وأَبْغِضْ عَدُوَّكَ. 44 أَمَّا أَنَا فَأَقُولُ لَكُم: أَحِبُّوا أَعْدَاءَكُم، وصَلُّوا مِنْ أَجْلِ مُضْطَهِدِيكُم، 45 لِتَكُونُوا أَبْنَاءَ أَبيكُمُ الَّذي في السَّمَاوَات، لأَنَّه يُشْرِقُ بِشَمْسِهِ عَلى الأَشْرَارِ والأَخْيَار، ويَسْكُبُ غَيْثَهُ عَلى الأَبْرَارِ والفُجَّار. 46 فَإِنْ أَحْبَبْتُمُ الَّذينَ يُحِبُّونَكُم، فَأَيُّ أَجْرٍ لَكُم؟ أَلَيْسَ العَشَّارُونَ أَنْفُسُهُم يَفْعَلُونَ ذـلِكَ؟ 47 وإِنْ سَلَّمْتُمْ عَلى إِخْوَتِكُم وَحْدَهُم، فَأَيَّ فَضْلٍ عَمِلْتُم؟ أَلَيْسَ الوَثَنِيُّونَ أَنْفُسُهُم يَفْعَلُونَ ذـلِكَ؟ 48 فَكُونُوا أَنْتُمْ كَامِلِين، كمَا أَنَّ أَبَاكُمُ السَّمَاوِيَّ هُوَ كَامِل.

Lecture French	01 PAUL, APOTRE du Christ Jésus par ordre de Dieu notre Sauveur et du Christ Jésus notre espérance, 02 à Timothée, mon véritable enfant dans la foi. À toi, la grâce, la miséricorde et la paix de la part de Dieu le Père et du Christ Jésus notre Seigneur. 03 Comme je te l’ai recommandé en partant pour la Macédoine, reste à Éphèse pour interdire à certains de donner un enseignement différent 04 ou de s’attacher à des récits mythologiques et à des généalogies interminables : cela ne porte qu’à de vaines recherches, plutôt qu’au dessein de Dieu qu’on accueille dans la foi. 05 Le but de cette interdiction, c’est l’amour, la charité, qui vient d’un cœur pur, d’une conscience droite et d’une foi sans détours. 06 Pour s’être écartés de ce chemin, certains se sont tournés vers des discours inconsistants ; 07 ils veulent passer pour des spécialistes de la Loi, alors qu’ils ne comprennent ni ce qu’ils disent, ni ce dont ils se portent garants. 12 Je suis plein de gratitude envers celui qui me donne la force, le Christ Jésus notre Seigneur, car il m’a estimé digne de confiance lorsqu’il m’a chargé du ministère, 13 moi qui étais autrefois blasphémateur, persécuteur, violent. Mais il m’a été fait miséricorde, car j’avais agi par ignorance, n’ayant pas encore la foi ; 14 la grâce de notre Seigneur a été encore plus abondante, avec elle la foi, et avec l’amour qui est dans le Christ Jésus. 15 Voici une parole digne de foi, et qui mérite d’être accueillie sans réserve : le Christ Jésus est venu dans le monde pour sauver les pécheurs ; et moi, je suis le premier des pécheurs. 16 Mais s’il m’a été fait miséricorde, c’est afin qu’en moi le premier, le Christ Jésus montre toute sa patience, pour donner un exemple à ceux qui devaient croire en lui, en vue de la vie éternelle. 17 Au roi des siècles, Dieu immortel, invisible et unique, honneur et gloire pour les siècles des siècles ! Amen.
Evangile French	43 Vous avez appris qu’il a été dit : Tu aimeras ton prochain et tu haïras ton ennemi. 44 Eh bien ! moi, je vous dis : Aimez vos ennemis, et priez pour ceux qui vous persécutent, 45 afin d’être vraiment les fils de votre Père qui est aux cieux ; car il fait lever son soleil sur les méchants et sur les bons, il fait tomber la pluie sur les justes et sur les injustes. 46 En effet, si vous aimez ceux qui vous aiment, quelle récompense méritez-vous ? Les publicains eux-mêmes n’en font-ils pas autant ? 47 Et si vous ne saluez que vos frères, que faites-vous d’extraordinaire ? Les païens eux-mêmes n’en font-ils pas autant ? 48 Vous donc, vous serez parfaits comme votre Père céleste est parfait.

Lecture English	1 Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by command of God our savior and of Christ Jesus our hope,a 2 to Timothy, my true child in faith: grace, mercy, and peace from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Lord.b Warning against False Doctrine. 3 * I repeat the request I made of you when I was on my way to Macedonia,c that you stay in Ephesus to instruct certain people not to teach false doctrines 4 * or to concern themselves with myths and endless genealogies, which promote speculations rather than the plan of God that is to be received by faith.d 5 The aim of this instruction is love from a pure heart, a good conscience, and a sincere faith.e 6 Some people have deviated from these and turned to meaningless talk,f 7 wanting to be teachers of the law, but without understanding either what they are saying or what they assert with such assurance. 12 I am grateful to him who has strengthened me, Christ Jesus our Lord, because he considered me trustworthy in appointing me to the ministry.j 13 I was once a blasphemer and a persecutor and an arrogant man, but I have been mercifully treated because I acted out of ignorance in my unbelief.k 14 Indeed, the grace of our Lord has been abundant, along with the faith and love that are in Christ Jesus.l 15 This saying is trustworthy* and deserves full acceptance: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners. Of these I am the foremost.m 16 But for that reason I was mercifully treated, so that in me, as the foremost, Christ Jesus might display all his patience as an example for those who would come to believe in him for everlasting life. 17 To the king of ages,* incorruptible, invisible, the only God, honor and glory forever and ever. Amen.n
Evangile English	43 b “You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’c 44 But I say to you, love your enemies, and pray for those who persecute you, 45 that you may be children of your heavenly Father, for he makes his sun rise on the bad and the good, and causes rain to fall on the just and the unjust. 46 For if you love those who love you, what recompense will you have? Do not the tax collectors* do the same? 47 And if you greet your brothers only, what is unusual about that? Do not the pagans do the same?* 48 So be perfect,* just as your heavenly Father is perfect.d
